I can't believe airlines and sites allow travelgenio to exist!
They are a total shambles, and they make businesses in Spain look really bad - It makes me never want to deal with a Spanish company ever again.
They are so useless, they took my money, they did not issue the ticket correctly, they charged me an ammendment fee of 75 Euros to correct the ticket, and then STILL HAVE NOT corrected the ticket anyway! All they needed to do was call Virgin Airlines industry support to change my name from Dave to David which is no charge by the airlines, and with 15 calls to each of Travelgenio and Virgin Australia, it is still not sorted. Travelgenio hung up on me when I conference called both them and Virgin Australia, because they simply refused to talk to the airline. I felt so helpless I was left crying in frustration. I can't believe they are legally allowed to travel!

I made two bookings for 6 tickets for my family. Processed payment verified through my bank, then received email confirming all was good. On travel day we found out ticket was cancelled. Then they argue they can only reimburse portion of the amount charged to my credit card.

They charge you more despite paying more to get the flexible ticket arrangement. They charge me 300 EUR. The customer service is also slow and multiple different personal respond to you. All in all a terrible experience and highly recommended NEVER to use

This is an HONEST REVIEW

This is the one of the worst travel sites you can buy your air tickets from, I have booked tickets from them in the month of April for a travel date in July.

According to Travelgenio, the flight was cancelled by the airline, however they did not offer any service to rebook me to another flight or help me to understand the situation. The customer service is so pathetic, one of their representatives even absued me and hung up the call because I have asked the right questions like

1) What is the role of your agency, if you are not able to help me with rebooking or giving me options
2) You will get your commission from my ticket or bunch of tickets from a similar sale, donot you think I should get some sort of customer service, since the flight was cancelled without fault of mine

Finally I have to cancel my entire trip and waiting for my refund not sure how and when I will be able to get my money back.

I urge anybody booking tickets, please donot use Travelgenio, they donot deserve your business. They donot care for their customers.

DON'T BOOK THOUGH THIS DISGUSTING AGENT, THEY ARE DODGY, I BOOKED TWO TICKETS FROM SHANGHAI BACK TO HONG KONG IN JAN FOR MAY, WE GOT TO THE AIRPORT AND OUR TICKETS HAD BEEN CANCELLED, THEY TOLD US THAT THEY WERE NEVER PAID FOR! I PRODUCED THE BANK STATEMENTS SHOWING THE MONEY HAD COME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT THE SAME DAY OF THE BOOKING! STILL CAN'T GET OUR MONEY BACK FROM EITHER THE TRAVEL INSURANCE COMPANY OR TRAVELGENIO. WE HAD TO BUY NEW TICKETS WHICH COST $1200AUD - DON'T USE THEM

I was booked on a flight by Travelgenio from Hong Kong to Beijing and then to Munich. I arrived on time with Luftansa and then proceeded to go to the next connection. However, you have to go through immigration and customs and from one Terminal to the next. When I finally arrived to the right terminal the gate was closed which means I lost my connection. I went through the runaround trying to get information and guess what I had to buy a new ticket. Luftansa says there was no way for me to make it from where I was to the next terminal in time. Which is true. Travelgenio however being the scam company it is refuses to accept responsibility and of course they don't want to refund me the money. I spoke to friends of mine who work in airports and they confirm how deceitful this company is. They don't care about letters you send etc. You must sue them otherwise you will never be refunded

I booked an Emirates flight with Travelgenio for my sister who travelled to Dubai without any issues. The problem started when she wanted to change the return date to return earlier. We called Emirates and they said it's just USD 50 for changing and there is no fare difference. However, they said that we must contact the agent to change the booking as it is locked on their system and the preceding ticket number is different as its booked using Hahn Air Systems so the ticket would need to be reissued for the change. We contacted Travelgenio who are trying to rip us off saying that:

"Based on the airline's fare rules, the requested change costs 45 EUR penalty + 64 EUR fare difference + 30 EUR service fee."

This is a outright lie as the airline told us there is no fare difference and there are no such rules, they said many seats are available on the new date and we just need to pay USD 50 but through the agent.

I understand that the agent may charge EUR service fee so I offered to pay the penalty of EUR 45 + EUR 30 service fee but Travelgenio still claims there is a fare difference despite the airline (Emirates) saying there is no difference in the fare.

AVOID USING TRAVELGENIO AS THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS.

I have booked with many agents before such as Expedia, Cleartrip. BudgetAir and Travelstart where we never faced such issues with them trying to con us into paying exorbitant amounts.

They use their cards to change my flight canceled by the airline and receive a refund from the airline and do not refund me. I have sent many e-mails about this problem, but now they return without even reading my e-mail, instead of even reading it.
It couldn't be worse.

Worse company ever! Do not book with them. They will scam you! I had problem with my booking and the customer representative just laughs and didn't help me. Advised me to cancel my flight for 30 euros more?

After many emails and reminders at Travelgenio I escalated it at PayPal which was the only way I luckily got back the money. Travelgenio asked my to close the case otherwise they could not refund the money. This was of course only a nice try, because once a case is closed at PayPal you cannot open it again.

I booked a flight in August 2018 through Travelgenio from Incheon to LAX to fly in March 2019. They started emailing me in January of 2019, changing the itinerary multiple times over a week period. They ended up not being able to honor the original flight I had booked and the new options were not going to work for me. They offered to refund me the full amount since the airline could not honor the flights. This was on a February 1,2019. They told me it would take 30-90 days to process the refund and return my money. I have been emailing every week or two to check in and have not been given any information about the status of my refund. I've been waiting 98 days now with no reply and I have not received a single cent back. Don't waste your money and time with this company! They are fraudulent and have terrible customer service that consists of automated responses and no real replies.

Couldn't check in online with the details they emailed me so I called them. The agent was rude and kept interrupting me. Wouldn't offer a solution other than show up at the airport and check in there. I called the airline who explained how to check in because the booking email used was travelgenios and not mine. This is something the agent should have known and advised me.

Never use this company
Today we discovered that our flight from Newark to London had been cancelled by your company

We received no booking confirmation about this, we then telephoned on the same day to confirm the email address. We discovered during this call that you had an incorrect email, we then changed this email address over the phone

Still we received no email

Then we logged into the airlines web site to double check our booking only to discover it wasn't there

We then phoned today (5th of may) and then discovered that your company had cancelled the flight due to the price changing. Your company said that they had emailed me that information along with the original confirmation, we never received any of that information

Now we I have no flight all thanks to YOU!

A refund which is expected to take nearly two weeks isn't good enough

All of this is your companies fault and I will be pursuing legal action as I feel I am in my rights to sue you.
All this comes down to is a mis spelt email address and it's cost us a flight

I have booked a flight from Pargue to Dubrovnik (The worst mistake in my life). They charged me $155 AUD extra for checked in luggages. Later I found that was only their service fee to book those in through the airlines! They send me the terms and conditions in support to that. However when you do the booking it was so cleverly written as an option you wouldnt understand that. Then they charged me extra $81 AUD and still havent got any confirmation from their customer service team about my luggage. BE AWARE OF THEM AND NEVER EVER BUY TICKETS FROM THEM.

Airline cancelled my flight. Travelgenio customer service told me up to one month to get my money back. I call them again in 45 days, they tell me I need to wait up to 3 months or even 6 months.
Flight canceled on the 13th of March, they only claimed the refund on the 7th of April. How does this qualify for a 30 days refund policy?
Customer service rude, sharing incorrect information and talking over me on the phone with the voice raised. Name of customer service assistant- Corina.
