Had a very very bad experience with Travelgenio when I purchased an air-ticket from them couple of weeks ago. I made a mistake while booking the ticket online and mistyped my Surname however, I realised my mistake straight away and tried to call customer services to get this rectified asap. This was way before the e-ticket was issued. I called customer services which I may add is chargeable. I end up calling them for 30 minutes straight for no answer. Because of that I ended up losing all my money on my ticket as after the e-ticket was issued the airline/travelgenio said nothing can be done and you would have to cancel the ticket (with no refund). I had to rebook a ticket with another airline all because Travelgenio customer services isn't 24*7 and doesn't care about customer money.

My wife and I bought flight tickets from Georgia to Israel and paid 300EU.
We paid an extra 30EU each (total extra 60EU) for their "personalized service".
The service was sposed to include seat reservations, meals, and a few other things.
Guess what?
We couldn't make seat reservations nor online check-in.
Moreover, we didn't receive any meal during the flight. (some other passengers did receive meals.)
I searched everywhere for the customer service phone number- couldn't find it, until now.
When I finally found a way to send them an email, the answer I received was: " personalized service is nonrefundable".
When I tried to explain that we didn't receive the service we paid for, they told me I should have read the terms and conditions (40 pages) before buying and basically it's my problem.
If I paid for a service and didn't receive it than I deserve to have a refund for that.
I fill that they literally stole my money.

I "booked" a flight with them, but they never issued a ticket. I showed up at the airport with a fake confirmation number and spent $1,400 to book with the airline on site.
This company are thieves and should be prosecuted.

Do not buy any tickets from this agency, they have horrible service and lie through their teeth. If you ask for a supervisor they hang up on you. I spent over 4 hours trying to give them my payment and they kept refusing. My bank said they attempted to withdraw $0 four times and then didnt charge anything more. So after multiple calls back and forth I had the idea of changing my payment method to paypal, did everything they asked, payment went through - everything was confirmed except the tickets were not being issued. So i called and they said the payment we withdrew did not go through we are refunding it please try again.?¿¿ how did it not go through if it did and they are refunding it? This place is horrible stay out!

Would advise to **AVOID BOOKING ** with these guys and go to a more reputable site. I tried to add baggage to my booking for a flight and the only option they had was an extra option personalised service which actually stated, extra luggage, seating and other things. It was $31AUD or 20Euros.
I had to cough up extra for my bags*** Their site is not clear and when I asked what the payment was for, they simply said to have customer support for my booking.
Some support then they kept telling me this is stated in the T&C's and that it is non refundable. I also read that most people complained about being charged extra on credit card. Best advice. Just avoid them all together!

I booked a trip for 10 days. They changed the booking for my return to be 3 months later. I realized it a few days after purchasing the ticket. I called and the first customer service agent was super rude and hung up on me. The second one told me its my fault and that I made the error. When booking a flight it shows you a calendar, so I would of known if I booked the trip for 3 months (which I did NOT). They then charged me over $400 to correct their mistake.
They also charged me twice and said it would take 2 weeks to refund the money. It took them 2 seconds to take the money but will take 2 weeks to refund it?
WORST SERVICE EVER! I will never use them and will never allow anyone I know to use them. They lie and cheat!

Purchased a flight and cancellation insurance. Unfortunately, my father became ill (which is already enough to deal with) and I had to sadly cancel our trip. It has been almost 2 months since I contacted Travelgenio with all the required documents to process the cancellation. I have received no responses to 12 e-mail now that were sent to the customer service department. I have spent the last 3 hours on the phone on hold trying to get to someone who could help me on the phone only to be told to e-mail them. At this point, I am convinced that they are using e-mails and departments and administrative BS to steal my $900. Which is incredibly frustrating considering all the medical bills I now have for my father. Not only did they lie and steal my hard-earned money but they are taking away from my sick and dying father. My only option at this point seems to be a chargeback claim and contacting a lawyer. You should avoid doing business with Travelgenio AT ALL COSTS! 1000% SCAM!
THEY ARE THE WORST. Wast of time, energy and money.
They charge you for things that they do not do. They demand more money for things they say they have already done. They don't pick up the phone, they don't answer emails.
They trick you out of money, they add huge extra charges and do not tell you about them.
Even if they 'process' a refund... they will never actually give it you back.

Don't use them. My flight was cancelled but no refund was made. I asked them the reason as the first reason they said was unclear but no answer.

Landed on this site from SkyScanner, went throught the whole selection and payment steps at the end of the process the site told me the ticket was not available as places were no more available.
Booked the same ticked through an other travel web site, I found myself wiht two tickets as Travelgenio booked the same despite the failure notification.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. You enter your payment details like ANY other booking site but of course travelgenio aren't that straight forward and you then get bombarded with emails that don't make sense including a link to place where you need to enter your card details again despite the email saying don't make another booking. Then after over 30 minutes on hold (which you have to pay for) you see they've cancelled your entire booking. AWFUL COMPANY TOO STRESSFUL. DO NOT USE.

This site is probably the worst travel site I've ever used staff very rude and I booked a return flight from Manchester to Amman Jordan on the return trip I was told the ticket would be Amman to Manchester via Copenhagen, I agreed paid for the ticket when I received the e-ticket it showed me that it would end in Copenhagen not Manchester when I complained I was told take or leave it plus this company never heard of a thing called customer service. Go figure.

Do not book with travelgenio! I've travelled 5 to 6 six a year for the past four years and I've never come across such a disgusting lying company. When my booking was confirmed I received an email from travelgenio stating:

Anyway I cancelled the flight on 19/07/2019 my flight cost £227.95 and after calling consistently for 1 month my emails being ignored and my number was eventually blocked I received a £60 refund in travelgenios words 'as a gesture of commercial goodwill'.
Also very few employees could speak English and they were all rude hey always told me we will call you tomorrow or next week and NEVER did.
I'd rather pay double the fare than have to deal with agent again.

Absolutely disgusted I use this website. They quoted me 606 for a flight to Brisbane from Ireland one way on Skyscanner. When I got to the airline there was a number of boxes they wanted me to take and it took ages to book my flight. In the rush to book my ticket I didn't realise there was an extra 70 charge increased on the ticket. Which meant I ended up pain 676e for the flight. When I rang customer service they were very unhelpful and just explained I agree to the price. I would never use this company again and certainly wouldn't recommend them never believe their price on Skyscanner.

I book 2 tickets from them and paid for them the night before our flight (at around 10 p.m.). Our flight was at 8 a.m. in the morning and at that time, we still haven't received our tickets, so that we could not check in at the airport and we missed our flight. For more than 2 months I want a refund for the case, and their customer support does not give me any information regarding what is going on with the process of refunding my money.

Customer service is terrible, was on the phone for 40mins and problem was unresolved then to find out i have been charged £17 for the call when the website says £0.04 per min i was charged over £0.40 per min absolutely disgusting
