Freeshipping.com is amazing... if everyone simply understood the service maybe you all wouldnt get so upset... 20% off this weekend, time to go shopping
Using my card number & stealing money, Ask for refund, said they would refund then in the month of May they took money 3 times, these people are thieves!
Hi Pat,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding our monthly membership fee. We can assure you all of our members have authorized the subscription charge and granted us permission to deduct the agreed upon $12.97 amount every month.
The $12.97 monthly fee is what our members pay to access our online savings benefits. We offer all new users a 7-day free trial, however, if the account is not cancelled within the trial period, the $12.97 charge is implemented to continue your access to our exclusive benefits. Details about the trial period and the monthly charge are located on the sign up page, in the welcome email each new member receives after completing the sign up process, and in the terms of use, which must be agreed to before successfully signing up with us.
We hope this clears up any misunderstanding about the fee you were charged! If you have any other questions, please contact help@freeshipping.com and reference this post for further assistance. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
This website is not for Snow Flakes or just flakes---this site is for people who do a significant amount of business on the internet, can read and understand how the process works and do not need their mommy to hold their hand. Thus --- no SNOW FLACKS. There is a monthly fee to have access to the system. If you do little or no internet purchasing then this is not for you. On every purchase you get from 10% to 20% of the purchase price back. So if you do not average $130 a month in purchases or save 1 shipping cost per month do not subscribe. You also get up to $10 back in shipping charges 12 times a year for each of the about 1000 stores associated with Freeshipping.com. If you do not order enough to cover the cost of about $13 per month from 10% back and 10$ for each shipping then this is not for you. We buy all our household goods possible from Walmart. That alone covers all our cost for the year and more plus the products are delivered to my door for free. Not going to a Walmart store is a major perk for me. All the rest we buy is pure profit. For me several hundreds to well over a $1000 a year is standard. I have used this for years. The biggest source of new income for most people is to not spend what they already make. Freeshipping.com will save a great deal but, YOU MUST BE AN INTERNET BUYER. There are several other benefits that will also add to the savings but these two are the best. I expect all the cry babies you read on Sitejabber never even understood how profitable Freeshipping.com is or even how it works. They are probably to busy looking for a safe space.
Hi David,
Thanks so much for sharing your positive words about FreeShipping.com! We appreciate the kind review and the clarification you've provided for other viewers!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
They charged me $12.98 for something I already paid for through Amazon. It was hell to get it off my debit card.
Hi Ed,
We're sorry to hear about your experience. New members are able to cancel their account at any time within the 7-day free trial period to avoid the $12.97 monthly membership fee. Even if a member chooses to cancel before the end of the trial period, he or she will still receive the check for the offer they claimed after signing up with us. Should you decide you'd like to continue using our benefits past your trial period, you will be subject to the monthly cost of a membership with us.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact help@freeshipping.com or call our customer service line. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
They sent me an email to make me believe that I was getting a shipping rebate, and I ended up getting charged $12.97. Stay away from this site! I am extremely unhappy with this.
Hi Margaret,
We're so sorry to hear you feel this way. When a user receives a free shipping offer on their purchase, they can then sign up with us and submit a claim for a shipping rebate. Members are welcome to cancel their account at any time during their free trial, and they will still receive a check for the rebate within 3-6 weeks. If a trial member chooses to stay on board with us and continue using our savings benefits past the trial period, he or she is subject to the $12.97 monthly membership fee. These details are stated on the sign up page, in our terms of use and in the welcome email each new member receives upon signing up with us.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com or call our customer service line. Thank you!
Sincerely,

Shame on me for not reading the fine print, shame on freeshipping.com for having small print. They are like those "free" moisturizer.
Hi Paddee,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding our site. At sign up, all users opt to provide their credit card information. The details regarding the trial period and the monthly membership fee are located directly above where payment information is entered. This states that if you choose to continue using our site and accessing our benefits, you are subject to the monthly membership fee. Otherwise, if you feel our site is not the right fit for you, you must cancel your membership within your trial period to avoid the monthly membership charge. Members can cancel at any time during their trial period and still receive the introductory offer claimed after sign up.
Details about the trial period and membership fee are also included in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before completing the sign up process. They are also located in the welcome email every new member receives after signing up.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com or call our customer service line. Thank you!

It looked like a deal from Kohl's Dept Store after I had placed an order but IT IS NOT! Can't get an email to pull up on them for customer service and the 800 listed doesn't seem to work either. Turning this over to the Better Business Bureau after no response. I replied to the one and only email received from them saying its a 7 day free trial then a monthly charge there after. Deceptive advertising! Thought Kohl's was giving me free shipping for ordering online from them for the first time! BEWARE! If I could give them a zero I would.
Hi Dena,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion about our site. Kohl's is one of the partners we work with. If you made a purchase from Kohl's, you likely signed up with us after accepting the offer to try FreeShipping.com free for 7 days. When signing up for a membership with us, all users opt to provide their credit card information. Directly above where credit card details are entered, it is stated to users that if they do not cancel their account within the 7-day trial period, they will be subject to our monthly membership fee if they would like to continue their access to our benefits. Our members get 10% cash back, free shipping, free return shipping, price protection, price comparison and all the latest coupons at over 1,000 online retailers.

Somehow they started billing me for charges and got information from a Kohl's order. Finally got it off my credit card and refund but still is pending for old charges that I didn't notice on my card. I still don't know what benefits you would ever get. Just got new credit card statement and they charged me again after getting confirmation they would close account. BIG SCAM.

Personally I think your company is just a big rip off scam! You make people think their going to get free shipping on the item they just purchased, when really your just scamming people of a fee for your service! I will be going to my bank and having the charges reversed!

Who reads there terms and conditions in details no one does. When you see limit is exceeding u should send an email saying limit exceeded atlesat user gets an idea ok limit is done. This is just scam they charge you every month and when u try to do transaction they have limit... for what? In that case they should charge just once in year... why every month when limits are for year? Makes no sense...
Hi Sushma,
We're sorry to hear about the misunderstanding, but appreciate the feedback regarding our membership billing. The details of the monthly membership fee are found on the sign up page, directly above where users enter their credit card information. They are also found in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before completing the sign up process, and in the welcome email each new member receives after signing up.

Apparently I signed up for freeshipping.com when I placed an order online with Kohl's and was supposed to cancel it before getting charged. I guess it's my fault, but I'm disappointed that Kohl's would promote something like this. Or was it Kohl's? Hmm, when I shop at Kohl's I use my Kohl's charge card but this was charged to a different card. Either way, watch out what you might agree to when trying to get that free shipping. The representative from freeshipping.com was friendly and helpful. I had no problem canceling and receiving a credit.
Hi Darren,
We're sorry to hear about the misunderstanding regarding a membership with us. It looks like you signed up with us after your purchase on Kohl's, when you were offered a 7-day free trial and $10 cash back on that purchase. Kohl's is simply one of the retailers in our network. FreeShipping.com members can get 10% cash back, free shipping, free returns, price protection, and exclusive coupons while shopping at Kohl's through the links on our site. The monthly membership fee comes from us and is in no way issued by Kohl's. This monthly fee is agreed to at sign up, after users accept the terms that state the charge will be issued if you do not cancel your account within your trial period. If a user would like to continue using the benefits we offer, they will be subject to the monthly fee. If not, members must cancel their account within their trial period to avoid the monthly charge. This information is stated on the sign up page, directly above where users enter their credit card information, in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before completing the sign up process, and in the welcome email each new member receives after signing up with us.
We are happy to hear you had a positive experience with our customer service department! If you have any other questions, please feel free to email help@freeshipping.com for further assistance. Thanks!

The FreeShipping.com Team
As most of the people before me, I was also charged $12.97 without giving them authorization to do so. Customer service has said they will issue a refund and were most kind, BUT, and I mean a big BUT, the representative said I signed up with my email address which she quoted, AND THEN SHE QUOTED MY PASSWORD! How is it that she knew my password?
Hi Maryann,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding our membership, but we're happy to hear you were able to cancel your account and receive a refund. We keep all of our member information in a highly secure system on the internet, with a limited number of customer service representations who have access. This information is kept safe and private in our system so we can look up member accounts and assist each customer accordingly. The passwords are kept on file in case a member forgets their password and needs to create a new one. I hope you find this information helpful! If you have any other questions, feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com for further assistance. Thank you!

The FreeShipping.com Team
I shopped through them to buy my home windows. I placed multiples orders for windows as a had some coupon. They charged me for 2 months and then cancelled my account saying that i was using my account for business and did not pay a penny as cash back. They let you collect cash back in the account and when the amount becomes significant they cancel your account without paying a penny...
Hi Sara,
We're sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. We do have limitations to our program in order to prevent fraudulent activity and misuse of our service. We also monitor fraudulent use closely and take these matters very seriously. At sign up, you agree to the limitations of the program and that we may terminate or discontinue your account should we recognize any misuse on your account. Details about the agreements you made at sign up can be found on our terms of use page on the site.
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com for more information. Thank you!

I created an account to get promotional free shipping for one order I placed through Kohl's back in August 2016 and just noticed they have been charging the credit card I used for the purchase for $13 a month since then. This is such a scam, I never authorized this and they sent one email with the original order stating there will be a fee per month at the very bottom of the email. They will just start charging whatever credit card you use for your purchase. DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!
Hi Neil,
We're so sorry to hear about the misunderstanding about our membership fee. You were offered a 7-day free trial at sign up and the chance to claim your $10 introductory bonus. All new users agree to the monthly membership fee at sign up. Directly above where you enter your credit card information, the details state that if you wish to continue using our site past your trial, you agree to pay the $12.97 per month. Otherwise, you must cancel your membership within your trial period. These details are also stated in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before completing the sign up process, and in the welcome email you received afterward.
It looks like your account has already been cancelled. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to email help@freeshipping.com. Thank you!

The FreeShipping.com Team
Called to question charges on my credit card and asked to cancel membership. My experience was like most who have dealt with this company. See if I get the refund they promised.
Hi Sean,
We're sorry to hear about the misunderstanding. Your refund is issued immediately on our end, but please allow 2-5 business days for your bank to process the transaction and disclose it on your statement.
In the meantime, I'd love to explain how our site works and why you were charged our membership fee. We offer new users a 7-day free trial and the chance to claim their introductory bonus offered at sign up. If users would like to extend their membership past the free trial, they are subject to the monthly fee. Otherwise, trial members will have to cancel their membership within their trial period to avoid the subscription charge. This information is stated on the sign up page, directly above where users enter their credit card information. It is also included in detail within our terms of use, which must be agreed to before completing the sign up process, and in the welcome email every new member receives directly after signing up.
If you have any other questions, please contact help@freeshipping.com. Thank you!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
I've been with them for almost 20 years, through all kinds of changes and glitches. I've only had one issue and that was because, and they tell you, some restrictions may apply, I used a coupon with the 20 % back and JC pennys didnt allow that, but Macys did as well as others, and I've more than made up for my member ship cost. You must make sure you click through their site, and if you take awhile it times out, so to be safe I reclick through before checking out. They are easy to to work with. If your credit card was charged for a monthly fee its because you signed up for it some how. Its not a scam if you give it time, you will see. The only other complaint I have is I reached my limit of $500 in shipping refunds and they didnt tell me, as I continued to send in claims they wouldnt pay. (I use to have to mail them in, now you can email your receipt, so much easier), but I know to check once in while what my total is. If i found a lower price, they have given me the difference, they pay to have my returns sent back with their easy prepaid labels that I can just print off. I think their customer service needs alittle work though. But I highly recommend them.
Hi Phyllis,
Thank you so much for the feedback! We're so happy to hear you've been saving with us and that you've found our site useful and user-friendly. Though we're happy to hear you saved up to $500 in shipping charges, we're sorry we can't pay any more rebates out to you! These limitations are in place to avoid any potential fraud or misuse of our site. Unfortunately, the cash back restrictions are set forth by the retailers themselves and we must honor their requests. If we could, we'd love to grant you cash back on everything you buy!
Again, thanks so much for coming here to share your positive experience. We greatly appreciate it!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
I had an account in freeshipping. One of my friend has also account,
He was moving out of town for few days and changed the address to mine so that he can get the check.
Freeshipping canceled my membership and all my cash back saying its a violation.
And i was not able to reopen my account.
Worst experience with freeshipping.
Hi Bhabani,
We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding the terms you agreed to at sign up. If you'd like to view our terms of use in greater detail, please feel free to visit www.freeshipping.com/about/termsofuse.
Our terms of use specifically state that a maximum of one account per household is eligible to receive our benefits. We monitor misuse of our site very closely and reserve the right to deactivate any member who violates these terms. Since we found multiple accounts registered under your name, address and email, this qualified as a violation of our terms and we took action accordingly.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com for further assistance. Thank you!

Got the $12.97 charge notice via text from my bank at 6:00 am one Saturday. Called freeshipping.com to ask what it was for and they said it was a monthly membership. I said cancel immediately. I also said I didn't remember seeing anything about a monthly fee on the website. She said she would issue a refund within 3 to 5 days. What a scam.

Signed up for this site to get free shipping on V-Day flowers. I was waiting on the refund for the shipping, so I held onto the account. Refund still hasn't arrived, but I got the membership charge. I was MAD and was ready to give an earfull about how I only held onto the account to get my shipping money. The rep was very kind and reversed the membership fee. NOTE- the membership fee is indeed mentioned when you sign up. I only held onto the account because I thought the refund wouldn't go through without it. 5 stars because good customer service, and fees were NOT "hidden".
Hi Daniel,
Thanks so much for spreading the word and coming here to share your positive experience! We understand there can often be confusion regarding the terms new users agree to at sign up.
We're so happy to hear you were pleased with the care our customer service department provided! We issue the refund on our end immediately, but sometimes it can take your bank up to 2-5 business days to process. If after that time frame the refund is still missing from your statement, please feel free to contact help@freeshipping.com and we'll be happy to help you however we can.
Again, thanks so much for the positive review!

Answer: Their advertising is a little sneaky I give you that. But that's your fault, just like out on the city streets, a fool and their money is soon parted.
Answer: Hi Christina, unfortunately I can't locate your account using the information here. Can you please reach out to me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com?
Answer: What's so dishonest about it? I am a regular subscriber and can easily recover my subscription fee many times over.
Answer: I did, but only after threatening to report them to the Attorney General in my state. They rely on the fact that few people will make a fuss.
Answer: You have to buy items from a website…anything from eBay to BATH & BODY WORKS, OVERSTOCK…many others. Go to "freeshipping.com" then delete the site from which you plan to buy-it will direct you to that site. (I always take screenshots of final receipts to add to my freeshipping.com submission), Afterwards you need to enter the purchase date-total cost and shipping cost…then a code is given. I have timed myself-the submission takes 35 secs if you are fluid on the computer. Have been a member for over 5 years and saved hundred$$! Trustworthy site-w/discounts as well as freeshipping (up to $10/order). $500 max shipping refunds per year…no limit on 10-20% off discounts!
Answer: Hello, Any cash back you earn as a member is yours to keep even if you choose to cancel. Thanks!
Answer: Hello - No problem, I have sent confirmation of this to your email.
Answer: Hi Carla, Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com. I will be happy to issue a refund for the membership fee. Thanks! Samantha Customer Support Supervisor
