OK everybody... let's put this company out of business. I have contacted a seller on ETSY about the item I ordered and they are willing to make this item for way less! I will post on all social media about ETSY contact. AND MY ORDER won't be at my door for FOUR MONTHS? BAD COMPANY

We purchased some chairs (the plastic molded knock offs) from Dot & Bo in May 2015. The chairs arrived timely which was nice but one of the chairs was broken upon arrival. It didn't break in shipping, it was clearly broken when packed. They sent a new base for the chair. All was fine until November(ish) when both chairs we purchased started wobbling. I wrote to their customer service in January and was basically told "too bad, there is nothing we can do because it is over 48 hours of purchase". Okay, how many folks have purchased furniture with a 48 hours warranty. Does a chair even become "broken in" within 48 hours? I am really discouraged because I could have paid more money for the real deal but went with this company because a friend recommended and because of the reasonable price (still $400 almost). Now I am out the money and I have to buy more expensive (and reliable) chairs for our office. To say I am frustrated is an understand - I am very discouraged from poor customer service to crap products.

I ordered to large pieces of furniture, one arrived in about 5 weeks, the other 8 weeks, both said 3-4 weeks.
Both boxes arrived in awful condition, ripped, partially opened and looked like they had been dragged here.
Both pieces of furniture were of the rustic style so a few minor dings or scratches were ok, gave them more character. If I had ordered more formal or modern I might have been a whole lot unhappier with the condition.
I did not contact Dot & Bo to ask for replacements or to say how poorly packed the furniture was. I just didn't want to deal with it and wait for new ones to come.
The first, The Industrial Roll shelf, went together easily and no broken or missing parts. A nice piece and I am ok with it.
The second piece, the Rolling Rustic Bookshelf, made from iron, tin and wood, had some issues. It was bent and I had to really work at forcing the pieces together. I was very pleased all the small screws were present as the box had several open areas and they could have easily fallen out. Biggest issue was 2 feet fell off as I was screwing in the casters. They were very poorly spot welded. I plan on putting them back on with epoxy and hopefully they will hold.
Overall I like the look of the furniture but I feel they could have done a better job on construction and how easily it is put together. I am pretty handy so no real issues but if you are not these would be a bit of a challenge
Due to the long wait, and mostly due to the poor boxing, I am not sure I would order again.

I purchased 10k worth of what suppose to be commercial grade furniture with in a week of my restaurant being open chairs are coming apart and braking left and right contact costumer service via email because you can't get someone on the phone I send pictures and this is the time nothing has been resolve I been trying to get answers is been almost 3 months now
If anyone is interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit please let me know we can do this as a business owner I find this repelant and hard to believe

I ordered a set of trunks. When they arrived, the color was not close to the ones displayed on the website. The large trunk came with a broken latch. I contacted the help center and was asked to send pictures, which I did. No response from Dot and Bo. I am frustrated that there is no customer service phone number to contact and that Dot and Bo ask me to submit photos of the damage. I did take the time to submit photos, but no response from them. The other item I ordered was a picture frame holder. It was constructed poorly - very crooked, which lends to the picture frame to sit crooked, which looks terrible. Agin, I sent pictures - no response. This was my first order with Dot and Bo. I am not impressed and will not be recommending them if my issues can not be corrected.

UPDATE: DOT AND BO came through and contacted me several times to make sure I was a satisfied customer. They reimbursed me for the broken merchandise and gave me the option of a percentage off of the trunks or return with total reimbursement. I am changing my rating and will order from them in the future. Thank you Dot and Bo

When I opened the box, the incorrect number of items was in the shipment. Mistakes happen. I contacted Dot & Bo and their customer service was prompt and helpful. They gave me a $10 credit and processed the order for the missing item. It took approximately 3-4 weeks to receive that item. I then used the credit to make another purchase. This time the completely wrong item arrived 3-4 weeks later. This was purchased as a X-mas gift, so I was anxious to correct the issue. I contacted Dot & Bo customer service and they placed a correct order for me and gave me another $10 credit. The problem was that I had to wait another 4 weeks for the item, which was well past the Holiday. This was not some type of exotic, custom made item, where these types of shipping delays are expected. I am writing this review today, which is the last day of the "estimated" delivery and I have not received a shipment notification. I am not sure if this item will ever arrive. I will not be using my $10 credit and I will not be using this site again. It turns out you can find a lot of the items on Dot & Bo on other websites.

I ordered 2 living room chairs from this company on May 19,2016. I received an email on June 7,2016 stating the chairs had arrived in Scottsdale and I should expect to be contacted by the white glove service company they hired as I had paid an additional $100 for this service that they offered. Weeks go by no call, I called the shipping co June 30, they advised chairs were in the Scottsdale warehouse but they are not deliverable as 1 chair was missing a button? Dot and Bo had not answered their enquiries on what to do with The damaged product. Dot and Bo has no telephone Number listed on their website. I email them to find out How they will resolve this as I had provided payment On the chairs in May and I still don't have them. Find Out they are working on getting a button from China I may need to wait months. I suggested they deliver chairs and pay To have someone repair the button at our home when It comes in. Their response no button needs to be repaired At the warehouse and I need to wait! Option 2 they Will deliver the chairs and reduce price by $200 plus $100 delivery charge and they may eventually send a button but will not send someone out to repair it! Very poor customer service, I have requested my money Back no response... Warn the public this is not a reputable business

I ordered a pillow from Dot and Bo in May. I was told they would send a delivery message and tracking number when the item was shipped. By July no delivery, so I contacted customer service and asked about the delivery date. They were prompt with a response and gave me a date. When that date passed I contacted CS again and was told the delivery would now be in September. I checked the D&B website and noticed the pillow I had ordered was now advertised for $10 less than what I purchased it for and with an estimated delivery date earlier than the one I was given for mine purchased in May. Once again I contacted their CS and was told that they would give me a $15 credit for a future order. I asked again for a refund since I would never buy anything from this site again. Did not hear a response back but the credit for a future purchase appeared on my Dot and Bo account. I periodically checked on the delivery status of the item and saw that the ship date kept being pushed back, now finally to December. I suppose six months is my limit so I decided to give up and ask for a refund. As usual the response was quick and stated that I would get a full refund within 10 days. We shall see but they have had my money for six months. What a pretty deal for them.

I GOT THE WRONG SIZE AND COLOR OF BED FRAME AND THEY REFUSE TO PICK IT UP AND EXCHANGE IT FOR THE SIZE AND COLOR I NEED. CAN'T GET ANYONE LIVE TO TALK TO AND JUST GOT A RESPONSE BY EMAIL STATING THEY WERE SORRY BUT TO RETURN IT. THIS IS A VERY HEAVY ITEM AND I AM A FRAIL ELDER AND TOLD THEM SO. I REQUESTED AGAIN TO SEND CORRECT SIZE AND COLOR AND THEY INSIST I CHOSE THE WRONG PRODUCT. THEY DON'T GIVE A $#*!. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS PLEASE.

If it weren't for their over the top marketing initiative, I'd assume this was a scam! Instead it's just a horrible business. They are very clearly not capable of handling the large amounts of business it's marketing is bringing to their site. I ordered a simple set of 4 whimsical hooks that said would take a month to arrive. 5 weeks later, I sent an email to customer service and received a response saying that they were "a bit backed up" with the hooks I ordered. I was also asked to "forgive this unusual circumstance." I replied back that I felt that a set of hooks should not take longer than a month to deliver and I'd really like it fixed. I was told again that is was an "unusual circumstance" and that it would take another month for them to come in and asked how I would like to proceed. After again, replying that I wanted these for a special occasion and I need them sooner than 2 months from the original order date. He replied back that he was once again sorry for the "unusual circumstance" and how would I like to proceed with my order. Basically, it seems that Dot & Bo are not able to handle the volume of purchases and are trying to get orders cancelled. I refused to cancel my order and told him yet again to proceed with my order and to have it sent to me asap. I received, "Great! I’m glad to hear it. I will keep your order in process." Oh, and the best part is that I was already charged for these, even though the order has yet to ship. TERRIBLE BUSINESS, STAY AWAY.

Here is what I am thinking after my first review:

To sum up: I cancel an order less than 24 hours after ordering a 2112$ console.
After 10 days of frustration and emails with dotandbo, they canceled the order and they gave me a refund.
BUT... Since the order was apparently already "processed" when I canceled it, I have to pay for the SHIPPING, and TWICE! Which is more than 600$!

I ask my bank when Dot and Bo placed the order and took those 2112$... it was 3 days after I cancel my freaking order. My order was not processed until that time.

So, Dotandbo: you are really unprofessional and far from being customer oriented.
Telling that I have been frustrated with this experience is an understatement.

It took you less than 24 hours to have my order "processed" (and there is no proof of that) but it took you more than one week to cancel an order. We live in a world where we can communicate fast with email, text, phone.
So, get your $#*! together and don't bull$#*! your customer.
I'm not paying more than 600$ for the shipping of an order that I cancel in time.

Moreover, I read some of the reviews on your company (which are the majority by the way). The exact same situation happened already. Your answer to this customer was that you would improve your service. Apparently, nothing changes since then...

AVOID THIS RETAILER!

Ordered 2 sets of bookends June 20,2015. My credit card was charged IMMEDIATELY. The order said the bookends would be delivered mid-July. By Aug 2, no delivery. Contacted Dot & Bo, service rep emailed me that the bookends were backordered, but were expected to be delivered the next week. Never came. ON August 22, I went on the Dot & BO site WHICH STILL WAS ADVERTISING THE BOOKENDS and it even said, "Hurry, only 4 left!" I immediately contacted D & B & they ignored the comment about advertising that they had 4 bookends left & just said that they were now expected to be delivered to me between Sept 16-23. It is now Sept 25 and no bookends. I am DONE WITH D & B & have requested my money back. I feel as if they should also give me interest on the money they have held for OVER 3 MONTHS! I will NEVER ORDER anything from this company again. TOTAL RIP-OFF Company! FALSE ADVERTISERS WHO JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY & DON'T DELIVER PRODUCT!

DESIGN IN THE TRADE.
I DIRECTLY ASKED IF ITEMS WERE IN STOCK. THEY SAID YES.
IT HAS NOW BEEN 6DAY WITH NO CONFIRMED UPS TACKING #. AND NOW THEY SAY ITS COMING FROM CHINA AND WILL TAKE 4 WEEKS. THAT IT CALL **** NOT IN STOCK ****! DO NOT ORDER FROM!
