Target has the best prices for the great quality of products that they have. The offer stylish clothes an other goods at a reasonable price. Whenever I need anything I go to target.
Nothing special. Pricey compared to Walmart. Dont have a real selection of plus sized clothes so I dont really shop their much. Everything else is more expensive. Dont sell groceries.
Good prices and good selection of clothing for my kids! I can also get them any school supplies to start the school year with. Not fancy but will do.
I did a video review of Target, and I tried on their clothes in the video! I hope you find this review helpful!
I purchased phones for Christmas. The store didn't properly activate the phones. I did not have the receipt, and they claimed they could not find the purchase using the card number. I wound up buying additional phones and plans elsewhere on top of the money I had already spent. Also, the manager was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. Never again in all of my life will I shop at Target. Never again will my family shop at Target. I will continue to let people know about my experience, so they don't make the same mistake I did.
I spent over an hour shopping at Target today. I probably had about 300.00 worth of stuff. I get to checkout and am told I can have 5% off everything I buy in target from now on if I get their credit card and use it there. The thing is, I do not want their credit card. That means I have to pay 5% more than if I did get their credit card. I left my stuff at the checkout, walked out and will never return. I do not want to pay more because I do not want their credit card. I spend a few hundred dollars a month at Target, but never again. Too bad. I like the store but am now turned off by the corporate gimic.
My fav store to buy kids`s clothes. Wide varities and deals what makes me go always with target! My Target always perfect :)
Target's website is just awful. I'm amazed that in 2018 target has not been able to come up with I smoothly functioning website. It's Twitchy.
There are long pauses after you select an icon giving the impression that you haven't selected. The pages have a tendency to jump so as you are about to click a selection the page jumps and you inadvertently click something unintended. You initially may choose a specific store I've noticed that as I search the ZIP code changes to some unrelated store usually in another state. This Behavior has been going on for years.
I find target.com to be one of the most user unfriendly unreliable websites that I've ever dealt with. I'm usually discouraged to the point of saying screw it Target's not worth it.
Target has never disappointed me. You can find just about anything you need at a good price. I love target!
Target has the worst customer support I have ever experienced. I bought Serta queen air mattress and tried it for one night, it deflates every hour and you have to inflate it using the noisy pump they have it with the mattress. Not only this but the mattress releases plastic odor that started me on a series of cough and itchy throat, when I took the mattress the next day to the store for a refund I was told that their policy will not allow for a refund only exchange for a similar or different air mattress. I tried to talk to their customer service but no hope the same answer. I filed a complaint with BBB and I am escalating the issue legally to ensure that no one falls in the same trap.
I ordered a chaise lounge for my mother from out of state. Fed-Ex delivered it 4 days earlier than expected and left it on the step in urban Philadelphia!! Needless to say she never got her chair. I left instructions on the order to call and not leave it with neighbors or on the front step!! IT'S RUDE TO NOT INSURE THAT A PIECE FURNITURE IS PROPERLY DELIVERED!! Two weeks later still waiting on a refund and the emails from Target suggest we can keep the item which we never got!! She loves target but won't shop there any more. We are really unhappy with this situation!!!
Simply wanted to purchase a new rug online. Received the wrong rug, and after dealing with multiple people in Maylasia or the Phillipines where they apparently have their call centers, I was told the correct rug would be shipped out express to me right away. I then get an email that my rug will be delivered... 2 weeks from now. Wait, What? Lie #1. Was told that for my trouble I'd be given a gift card for $50...wrong. It was $15.00. That was Lie #2. I decided I didn't want the rug after all because I wasn't going to wait 2 more weeks, but now they can't credit me until I give them the tracking number. Wholla...I provided the tracking number and then they change their tune and say they can't credit me until the rug actually gets back into the suppliers system. What? I don't even HAVE the rug. I cancelled the order, you haven't delivered it, I've provided the tracking number so you can cancel the delivery, and now you won't refund me until it goes back into YOUR warehouse? Lie #3. I am so done with Target. They are liars and can't even put people in the U.S. to work in a call center, they have to send that work to other countries. Way to go Target.
I ordered a rug from Target, but had to return it because the colors didn't match. I lugged it into the store and tried return it but forgot to bring my phone, so no receipt. They couldn't seem to find it, so I took it back home and lugged it in there again a few days later. This time I had the phone, but it said no receipt when I tried to find the receipt. It showed that my card been charged, but they couldn't find it anywhere. Not even when they looked it up on my credit card. The woman told me that the reason it wasn't showing was that the order hsd never been updated, and this was two weeks after I ordered it. She said they would have to give me a Target gift card, which I didn't want because I had charged it to my credit card. I asked if I could bring it back a week later and would they have the site updated by then? She said that should work. So I lugged it back home and I still have to try and return it again. Meanwhile, I looked it up on my credit card statement and it was charged the day that I ordered it. This is ridiculous, I won't be ordering again.
I used to love Target. Would shop there a couple times a month and always pick up clothing or shoes, home items. The merchandise has been cheap and tacky. It seems they have given up quality and style for low margins. Too bad it was such a great store.
I'm now 11 days after ordering and my items have not been shipped and status is still "preparing to ship" on target.com. There is no explanation for delay and customer service reps refuse to cancel the order. I have called multiple times and there is always a long wait and agents are not helpful
Placed order which had not shipped 8 days after order. I called and they confirmed that all items were in stock and could not explain delay. Promised that order would be shipped "soon" but unable to say when that would be. I spent >30 min on hold only to be told that order was estimated to arrive 2 weeks after it was supposed to but could not actually confirm when items would be shipped so delay could be longer. I requested to cancel the order since the only thing that had happened was label printing but agent (and manager, Jay) refused to allow me to cancel the order even though they could not 1. give reason for delay 2. give estimate of arrival.
I wasted >30 min of time and was treated like dirt. No thanks.
I definitely won't be buying from target.com again and would urge everyone to shop elsewhere as well
Ordered an Oster fondue pot online for instore pickup at East Liberty - no other stores had it in stock. A nice product. I drove 25 minutes each way; free parking; nice young man handed it over bagged and ready to go; for a gift event at my home. Got it home, cut the tape, opened it up: burnt pot, pieces all over, dried cheese fondue flaked out onto my table. It had been returned used, not even cleaned; Target packed it up, bagged it, and handed it off to me. What the?
Anything you can buy at their store can be purchased online and sent wherever you wish. Great convenience, no worries.
I don't know what's wrong with this Company but it seems it likes playing online "games". EVERY TIME I have entered my password AFTER resetting a new one to access my billing information at www.targetrcam.com the website DENIES me access with the claim of it being an INvalid password! It then plays with me by asking me to confirm the answers to DIFFERENT security questions than those I responded to when I set up the password! Therefore there is NO way for me to get in to check my billing account info and WITHOUT the username and password I can't contact them through the website log-in either to straighten out the problem. I have even CALLED their customer service center several times to get the problem stopped and got the "promise" EACH time that it "wouldn't happen again"!! And EACH time it STILL DOES!!
THIS is WHY customers PREFER PAPER billing records sent by mail!!
It took 2 hors for me to check out. I had a gift card to use and went $4 over. I entered my own card for the extra and it would not accept my payment. Tried chat. Site crashed whie chatting and the chat disappeared. It would not allow me to clear entries to try again. The card reader did not work. The number entery to manually enter gift card places the next digit before the last entry, so you have to move cursor to correct space. What a complete nightmare.
This store has managed to turn a frequent customer ($100-$300 month) into someone who almost never shops there anymore. Here's how:
1. Quality of products has declined year on year.
2. Website: more than half of my promised orders were cancelled after I paid and items were confirmed in stock; suddenly, days later, they were out of stock, and my order cancelled, so that I had to scramble to find replacement items (especially for gifts).
3. Inability to return items: Received defective item; spent 30 minutes trying to talk to someone in the Philippines about how to return it. Rep's initial response, "You can't." Another friend was shipped WRONG item - a swimming pool. Told that the ONLY way she could return it was to bring it back to a store. Pool did not fit in her small car! I also had trouble retuning something I bought online, 1 week after it was shipped- I had bought multiples, but Target's system only let me return one item; system would then claim item had already been returned, even though I had receipt to prove multiple items purchased.
4. Coupons (both their annoying in-store text variety and paper coupons) almost never work. Always end up shrugging off the rip-off.
5. Credit card: the only one that always seems to claim that the payment is "late." And then, after much fuss, will begrudgingly refund a small portion of the late fee. Then I didn't use the card for a little while. The checkout woman basically cajoled me into using it, only to have it be declined (in front of a line of other shoppers -embarrassing!) "Oh, if you don't use it for like 6 months, they cancel it," she says. Nice of Target to let me know beforehand. I received no notice that my card was cancelled. Good thing I didn't really need to use it!
6. Deaf ear. One would think that a "valued customer" who cancels his/her email relationship in disgust, and has made several complaints online and in store might be contacted for follow-up. Nope. Target doesn't care and doesn't need my business. I have found other sources for the products I need.
I used to get my monthly virgin mobile phone card from Walmart.com until I learned that with my redcard I get 5% off face value. I pay $33.25 for a $35 phone card every month. There are no added fees and the card arrives via email within a couple of hours without fail.
Ordered gift cards online 12/18 and upon check out was informed they would arrive 12/27, after Christmas. Called and cancelled my ordered with target.com and went to local store and purchased directly from store. A few days later the gift cards show up on my doorstep. Some reps that I have spoken to say they see that the cards were cancelled and some reps says it was not cancelled. It is a huge ordeal and still has not been resolved. 10 days from being a month dealing with this issue.
Ive never had to deal with them for an online issue before. Hope never to again. I read a delivery confirmation that states my order was delivered this morning. Well, it wasnt. So I tried to reply. You cant reply. So I tried to chat. They were too bust to even put me in a queue. My last option is to call. Thats not going to happen. Cant believe theres no email option to contact them.
I ordered an ipad this year on Dec 24 to ship to a store nearby. It says the item will arrive Dec 29-Jan 2. Since I am only on a trip here until the 2nd, I figured that would give it just enough time. BUT NO. The website sneakily updated the arrival date to Jan 4 a few days later. I called customer service to ask where the ipad was, and nobody seemed to have an idea. I said I would not be able to pick up after Jan 2, the staff offered to re-order a new ipad for me honoring my original price (it was on sale during christmas) and ship to Hong Kong for me for free. Great. Then I had to talk to two more people of different departments, only to be told that since they don't ship digital items internationally anymore, there's no way they can do that for me. I asked if I can get any reimbursement in one form of another for my lose (shipping to HK by a friend) and the frustration in all this, she just flat out rejected me. Really? This is the $#*!test retail store there ever is on earth. Big fat corporate mongol lying and stealing hard-earned money from our pockets. I wish they go bankrupt ASAP. NEVER SHOP THERE, unless you want a load of troubles and have extra cash to drop.
right first of all "the online chat" is useless, whom do they get to do this, obviously from my experience a bunch of frightened pussies that can't deal with customers whom they initially pissed off. I have spoke to no fewer than 6 of target's employees who can't make a decision to do a poo let alone take care of a customer. Calling them on the phone is less painful but these people have no clue as to how much time they waste. what a bunch of wasters. And they won't improve either! stay away!

Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!

This company has lost it, Big Time. Once people found out that Target is more of a front company for political causes, and they only Masquerade as a retailer.. they just stopped going there. They have close All of their stores in Canada.. and have taken a huge hit on their stock in the last year and a half. You can't focus on customer service when you're merely trying to survive. Hopefully, they will be gone soon.
