Overall, Google technology is great, but I once advertised on Google. They blocked one of my ads, and I was okay with it because I figured that I didn't need to have it anyway. However, they re-enabled it without notifying me and I was billed. It was impossible to resolve this and get my money back. I called and was told a manager would follow up, but that never happened. And it's been a few years now. I would not use their advertisement service again.

My account as deleted awhile ago for no reason in my opinion, so there's that. The English of the employees is also really bad. It was funny when I was told that the essay I wrote had grammar errors, and then I found out that the person reviewing it really just didn't know English well enough to understand what I wrote. They're based in the Philippines, and Filipino English allows for a lot of what would be considered grammatical errors in American and British English, so that is what this experience is like.

I work for them and the clients really are terrible. We don't get paid when they complain, and the site doesn't uphold policies that protect the writers either. Only the company wins. We are expected to somehow understand illiterate requests, and it does not help that the company pretends to be in the U.S. even though they are in the Ukraine, and that none of the employees I've ever communicated with seem to actually understand the words that I am saying. I am regularly told I am wrong by clients, which is laughable because I have the same experience as their professors.

This site is pretty helpful. Great academic support for those who need it. It is ideal to not be too demanding with the tutors because they are very capable, and they do better quality work when they have more time to focus on writing.

Thank you for the kind words and we take pride in the work we do for our customers!

The ads are worth it for the free music. I'm not really sure if the recommendations it offers is a plus, but it provides good background music for my life.

  • Higheredjobs

8/8/18

I wish more of the jobs allowed for direct application through the site since companies that make it harder to apply to aren't necessarily worth applying to if they require me to retype all of the information in my resume. Good options though.

  • Chegg

8/7/18

I have rented books through Chegg when I started my undergraduate degree and it was a good experience. However, now the solutions part of the website has turned into a cheat fest. I would be able to get copies of all of my graduate assignments if I wanted to. Copy and paste a question from on online test and you will likely find the answer on here. It's kind of crazy, and I think it's definitely being misused.

  • Thumbtack

8/7/18

Everyone I have hired on thumbtack has been great, and I've needed a lot of different services. However, I used to be a pro, and I still have money sitting in my account that I haven't been able to use. Initially, the site got me a lot of clients, but they chose to ban the service I was offering. Since I've wasted close to $20 on this, I can only give 4 stars. I would have definitely ended up spending more money on the site if they didn't make this weird change.

  • Twitter

8/7/18

Other than making adolescents stressed, I am not sure what Twitter is useful for. It made more sense to me when I was in college and it was being used more informally. I had a Twitter for about a year, and decided it was not really worthwhile. My thoughts can't be confined by a limited number of characters, and I know that people don't care about what I have to post and I don't care about what they have to post.

  • Bookworm Lab

8/7/18

BookwormLab is affiliated with EssayBox, and the writers login at Proficientwriters.com. There are other websites, and some charge different prices for the same products. Some writers are from English speaking countries, but many are not. The company itself is made to look like it's in Florida, but it is based out of the Ukraine. A lot of the employees who run the site, other than the writers, do not speak very good English. It operates to scam the writers and the clients, and only the company benefits. Keep in mind that you can't sue them or hold them accountable because it would be too hard to take them to court in their own country.

  • Payoneer

8/12/18

I've been trying to order a card since June, and I've officially given up. I've had to input my information to order a new card twice, call customer service twice, and was just locked out of my account for what I consider to be the final time. You clearly don't want me to use Payoneer, so I will not be.

  • Harrah's

I really like the hotel itself and the pool, etc. this would have gotten 5 stars if they hadn't overbooked and prevented me from getting a room. I haven't gone back since. I traveled out of state and needed to get a hotel room on the way back home because I was so tired and the experience was basically a waste of money as a result. I wouldn't have needed to book a hotel room on the way home if I had the one o was planning on. I know my room wasn't being cleaned for the 3 hours I waited before I needed to leave. Fortunately I'm buying a house in the area so I can stay there when I visit, but they definitely missed out on a lot of money.

  • Indeed

8/9/18

I'm happy that it has changed to make it easier to look for remote jobs. It used to be that the word remote would match with jobs that say things like "no remote" which is the opposite of what some people are looking for. I like the application process as well.

Thank you very much for your feedback! We're so happy to hear that you've found the improvements helpful.

  • Whole Foods

8/8/18

I wish they had a bit more vegan products that are also gluten free, but otherwise a good experience. I can get a lot of the things I need there, and it's nice to get extra points for paying with my Amazon card.

  • Dunkin' Donuts

8/8/18

The chocolate chip muffin is out of this world. I also like the vanilla chai drink. I wish there were vegan options though because I probably shouldn't be eating dairy.

  • American Express

8/7/18

I've never really had a problem with Amex. I like that it's easy to dispute charges, and I can use my points for GrubHub ordering, which I do all the time.

  • Grubhub

8/8/18

I love GrubHub, but as many posts indicate below, there's some fraud afoot. Someone ordered chicken and other items to a state on the opposite coast from where I am, and about $200 worth. I have never ordered something worth that much from them, I have actually never even been to the state it was ordered to, and my diet prevents me from eating anything that was ordered. I chose to call the restaurant first and was hung up on immediately, making me think that the restaurant was fake. It could have been better when I called too because it took me more than 30 minutes on the phone to cancel this order. I don't think that they should have to check with the restaurant for that because saying you didn't authorize the purchase should be enough to put an immediate stop to it.

  • Edublogs

8/8/18

It's easy to get the blog started out with the basics, but I had a difficult time making it just the way I wanted it. It might be one of those things that comes with experience.

  • Venetian Hotel

8/8/18

A fun experience. I traveled to the Venetian in May and I look forward to coming back again. The promotional free nights definitely look appealing.

  • Trulia

8/8/18

I was able to find a house through Trulia and find a real estate agent as well. However, a lot of the houses in the area that were already bought are still listed and the status is not changed online, which makes this difficult. It was accurate for some areas and not others.
