Awful site. The worst part is their customer service. They can barely understand anything you ask and will give you amazingly horrible explanations for why your order did not ship. There are much more reputable sites to order from
Ordered item 1/22/2015 and still haven't seen it. Chat supposed to work 24/7 didn't work any of the several times we tried to contact and customer service responded only after dispute was placed. Finally got message they have up till 45 days delivery time!
The device comes with virtually no packaging, which makes the first impression a bit bad, but when I started using it I realized that there were good points. It has a good fit to the ears; reasonable volume; sufficient range (I tested for 4 meters); and because of the low cost, we can not expect more than that. The bad points are: Somewhat muffled sound and uncomfortable control position.
Good product if you are looking for something inexpensive.
They have sent me a broken junk, and refuse to give me a refund for it. We're talking about a mere of $40... I just want to stop someone from being robbed by gearbest.com like I was.
I wish I checked their reviews before I ordered anything from them. Live and learn... There are so many unhappy customers, being lied to and robbed like me. It looks like all the positive feedback they have, come from people they hired to give them those reviews, but even with that these scammers are at 60% of customer satisfaction... Well hopefully someone will read mine, and don't risk ordering gearbest. I have also filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, but there are so many complaints there about this company as well... So just be ware, don't think you're saving money with these thieves and liars.
After many emails, reviews, and etc, I finally received the refund I deserved and was fighting for.
Gearbest is overall good place to shop online. Shipping is fast. Packaging is better than Banggood. Customer service response time also not bad.
But they are dishonest about product reviews. I left 3 star feedback for the product i purchased from GearBest. I left mix review for the item as personal view as I bought it with all my money. Some review guys who got it as free may leave 4 or 5 stars review. But normal user/buyer will leave as their own opinion based on the price and the quality of the product.
Gearbest did not list my review. It's totally dishonest.
Many of their products are sent from China and come with additional (28 euros) customs costs that you as a customer have to pay for. So if you for instance buy a product for 20 euros it will cost you 48 euros in the end. Reading the only comments I am clearly not the only person with this issues. Therefore, be very careful ordering products from this website if you live in the EU, as customer service will just tell you that it's not their problem.
Update:
The issue appeared to be with the product not being allowed into the EU in the current condition (no barcode present), after contacting Gearbest once again we were able to achieve a satisfying solution for the issue. So the customer support was able to help, although it took a some hassle and a few messages back and forth.

This is my favourite Chinese store as the prices are always that bit cheaper than everywhere else. I've put in seven orders since December and received them all no problems. I like the NL post option (recommended) which seems to get the package quicker to Ireland. There's always good discount coupons available if you search the Web for them! I've not had any problems yet (touch wood) so I can't say what their returns process is like. I mainly buy TV boxes from them.

I have placed many orders on Gearbest and I must say that I have always been extremely pleased! The free shipping obviously takes a few more days to get to the destination, but you have to consider that almost always items are shipped from their warehouses in China, so it's normal! Instead, the fast shipping (in my case is called Italy Express) allows me to receive the order after less than two weeks. Customer service is very efficient and timely in responses. What's so important is that Gearbest rewards purchases with points that can be used for future purchases. So Gearbest promoted full marks and I'm happy to share my experience with other people. Since there are so many stores around, I am gonna say in what way Gearbest was different for me, the first point is their support, they use to answer like they actually read what you write, only sometimes it seems like an automatic response... The second point would be the option to parcel my purchases, this is important since we do it a lot here (Brasil), and last, the shipping insurance works when it is needed.

So after a two years here i'm updating my review on gearbest. Still the best in my opinion, for any of my gadget needs i still use gearbest. The delivery time has been reduced to a week does make it faster then some of my local purchases. If you need heavy discounts, even more discounts compared to site sign up for newsletter it'll never fail to disappoint you. The customer service is still best in online chinese retailer. They may take up to a day to reply but will surely be helpful and would resolve issues by then.
It's been a few months since I found out about the website! Previously I was scared to purchase from another country! But then after finding out that greabest has the best prices! That's a bang for buck. I've almost stopped purchasing from my country's online retailers. When I can get the same product for a cheaper price that too with a good shpiping rates. I ordered several times from this site and I can say only positive things. The products are usually better than expected (or exactly same as they promised). The shipping time is acceptable, all of my orders arrived within 3-4 weeks or sometimes less time.
The packaging was always safe, I didn't get anything broken or damaged.

Answer: Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. Answer: I would advise you to stear clear. If the site does not let you order with free shipping then you have dodged a bullet. I got free shipping but the product was damaged an only fit for resting your cup on they offered a refund less the first shipping that was ment to be free or a replacement. As it cost 25 pounds to send back to resolve the matter I chose to except the replacement it came and was just as bad a tablet as the first. Take my advice and run a mile.
