Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not.

I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews.

Don't even waste your money on a tracking number.
I have been waiting since 18 November for my phone.
They keep delaying, although they say you can still buy stock from them with immediate shipment from their Hong Kong warehouse.
Obviously they don't have stock & are just getting more money from consumers.

I just made a PayPal claim so should have no problems getting my money back. I hope you pay with PayPal & can do the same.

I should also mention that they gave me a tracking number for an address in Spain that does not exist. I don't live in Spain, or even in Europe.

Good luck if you buy from them.

No stay far away. If you say yes, you will have a horrible experience. I have and so many others. They must think we are all suckered, they are promoting everywhere right now, makes me worry for those who also fall for it like me and so many others... SO NO!

Rip off Chinese site, they take for ever to send items, then when you do receive them they are low low standard! All wires hanging out/or dangerous your not saving money your being ripped off, all these false reviews make me laugh.

I would do that if I were you. I also suspect that the positive reviewers are bots. I did the same thing saw a lot of positive reviews and placed and order 2 and a half months ago and still HAVEN'T GOT THE PRODUCT DELIVERED TO ME.
As a business they should be responsible enough to follow up on the product delivery with their logistics and they just don't do it. Also in return of my inquiries they have been constantly giving me the same e-mail templates. This is a bot site bots running the business with less than no regards for customer's interest.

Probably its secure using Paypal but read their return policy before you put the order! If the product you order come broken they will not refund you shipping cost and also you will pay return shipping expensies!

I wouldn't. Depending on the product they don't even have most of what they sell in stock. It so congress from China and they just get what they can that resembles the item you ordered. If they can find it quick you might get it within the month. If not who knows when you'll get it. Just so much better to spend the extra few bucks and use a company that actually delivers!

I wouldn't buy from them. Most stuff takes for ever to get and sometimes you'll never get it or they will send the wrong items. When that happens good luck getting the right stuff or a refund. The following is what I'm dealing with now. They sent the wrong batteries I ordered and have been giving me the run around for a refund. Buyer beware. I'm still in process of getting my refund.

The link you provided is in fact what I wanted and ordered. My ORDER # W1512031829228373 shows that's what I ordered. GEARBEST sent me the wrong items. As you can see in the pics I attached earlier I didn't receive what I ordered. The V686G battery is a 3.7V 730mAH with a red connector. You sent me six, I'm assuming 3.7V (no volts listed) 500mAH batteries with white connectors. Refer to attached pics. My battery for the V686G is on the left and the batteries you sent are on the right. As you can see they aren't not even the same size physically and the connectors are totally different. The kit you sent also didn't have the adapter wires shown in the link you provided (refer to attached pics). I also again attached a pic of all the items that were in the box GEARBEST sent me again so you can see. Therefore I ordered the correct item and you sent the wrong item.

Not sure why I it should take an additional two days, but I will wait till Thursday the 14th 2016. After that based on reviews I've read about your customer service on numerous websites including your own facebook page I will have no other choice but to seek resolution through Paypal. If I need to resort to that I sadly will never order another product from your company again which is unfortunate since up until this point I ignored those reviews and gave your company the benefit of the doubt and even though the shipping was very slow up until this item everything was good to go and I at least got what I ordered. You shouldn't treat your customers this way.

Totally avoid, no way to contract them except ridiculous email, forced choices with specificity on order required. I emailed for 6 months when my quadricopter came missing pieces. They promised they would ship them then they said they did ship them – I never received them and it became ridiculous. Each time I emailed it's as if they had no idea what I was talking about despite the 50 previous emails. I never got the missing pieces and the product was useless. They offered me a $10 refund. Avoid this company.

Yes, it is a secure site. I have purchased a few items from them. Keep in mind, it will take some time (15ish days) for your item to arrive. One of the items I purchased was damaged in shipping, Gearbest was prompt and curtious to resovle the issue. I would not have sny problem ordering from them again.

BrianP, define secure. From my point of wiew it is secure, everything you exchange with the site is https, actually, when you send your credit card data, does not reach the shop, but an electronic form connected to online banking system, gearbest never gets your credit card number. Past two moths hat 3 items bought from chinese online shops, two from gearbest and one from efox-shop.com, all three from their european warehouses. Day before yesterday checked my credit card, everything is ok, no missing currency.
Speaking about refunding or broken items, never had such issues. Almost two years ago, dealsmachine. Com lost on shipping a phone of mine. After an exchange of mails, they agree on re-sending same phone, changing postal system. But I had insurance, an I would never recomend someone to buy something valuable from overseas without insurance. That time NLPost lost my phone, next time, who knows?

I made 5 orders, everything was delivered.
1. All products without fakes.
2. PayPal payment
3. Sending with a track number is mandatory for tracking. (Often beztrekovye parcels disappear through the fault of the mail itself and not the store)

4. The first order made for the child asked to send sooner to catch the time before the holidays. All done.

I did eventually get the drone I ordered and it is in fine working order. It just took a month to get here and I could not track it (despite what it said when I ordered it) I ordered the exact same drone from amazon for 10 dollars more and got it in 2 days soooo I would suggest looking for the product at a legitimate site and only ordering from gearbest if it is the only place you can get it and you have unlimited time to wait

Turn the other way and RUN do not walk away from this site. I never got my purchase, contacted the Better Business Bureau - check out my complaint there - and they never even responded to the BBB, there were other complaints there and they didn't respond to them either, they have an F rating. Stay away, I think the good things said about this place are mostly lies created by the people that work there. RUN!

LISTEN I AM NOT A "bot" and not a paid for this review.
I recommend you use PayPal for any online transaction because you are covered. Now as for all this nonsense, I can tell you this I do not disagree that people have had negative experiences but I'm am speaking about me, Shipping does take forever but that is free shipping, I recommend you pay for a tracking number and expedited shipping, trust me. And every time I had an issue all I had to do is write a "ticket" and the always responded and did their very best to correct the situation.

Yes it's a secure site. I don't understand people saying it's a fraud site. A fraud site does not have all those merchandise for sale. When a shipment is mistreated in the mail system or lost how is that sellers fault? How does that makes one a fraud when you have optional tracking and insurance. If you ever bought stuff online you should know these things happen and when you call it a fraud site you know nothing about shopping online and I would call it your fault. When we are taking about merchants eBay is more fraudulent than GearBest. People calling it a fraud site know nothing about shopping online.

That's what happened with me, after 3 month waiting and procrastination from gearbest, I decided to open case with PayPal, then They tricked me with their promise that they will send me a new shipment for free, and after I close the case with PayPal they start In wasting time, and finally they delete my account with them. My advice There are many cheaper and trusted sites,

If security is the concern, use PayPal instead of a credit/debit card. I've personally have never had an issue thus far but did start with PayPal for my first few orders, eventually providing debit card details. The debit card I use is specifically for online purchases so the only funds available are those to the value of a purchase at the time I make the purchase. If I'm not making purchases there's simply no money in that account to allow transactions to occur.

Avoid Gearbest at all cost, unless you like to waste time, lose your money and want to have a lot of headache. They are a fraudulent Scam company. It took me almost a full week of fighting for a full refund for a DOA item and I had to involve the BBB.
Spend a few bucks more and purchase elsewhere.

Stay away, I ordered monthes, almost a year ago. Customer Service is a nightmare to find out your order status. At first they told me it had been shipped and would be with me any day now. Weeks went by. I called again this time they said the product I ordered was out of stock and hadent been sent yet. Finally I asked for a refund, they gave me less money back then I orginally paid and only in store credit.

They are a terrible company, dont loose your money.

I bought many things from them. Everything arrived. One example is my vaper (e-cig). That vaper is a very high quality. I mena the same quality if I would buy from a UK retailer. But third the price. For exchange it took at least a month to get it. Like some said before me, it's based in China, so there is a "built-in delay".
Also everything I bought was as expected, but I have to note, I'm not a lamb.
So for example, I bought a 18650 Li-ion battery with the capacity written or their site "4200mAh" for £2per 2 pieces. After some googling, I found out battery like that cannot really have more than 2500 mAh capacity. So I did not expected 4200. Also I know they only showing the detials they got from the manufacturer.
Also it had a charger included which was a $#*!. But I knew I should expect a $#*! charger for that low price.
The main problem is with many people, that they think they can get quailty for a very low price. This is nonsense. If you buy something really cheap, you get low quality.
On gearbest you can buy quality product but for a reasonable price. The quality ones won't be incredibly cheap, but much cheaper than buying from a local retail who bought from a local reseller, who bought from a local warehouse, [...]. In the end the first buyer (in this chain) bought from the very same ones from china, what gearbest tries to sell.
Also Gearbest does the same what I wrote above. The main difference, that they buy from the manufacturer, then you buy from them. Smaller chain = less resell-profit you need to pay.
But still don't expect incredibly cheap quality, because there's no such thing.
After a year that's my experiences with them.

Trust me on this one. DO NOT BUY FROM GEARBEST. Do not belive all the 5 starts reviews because most of them are written by Gearbest. On truspilot you can see that they warn for this company and the reviews. As I understand this company do not have a EU warehouse only an adress. This is not the first case with this company who has acted on the market with another names. Better to pay a little more and use trutable suppliers like Amazon or other weell-known companies.

I would avoid them. The tablet I orderd was defective. After six communications sent to them, they told me to return it, and they would ONLY give me HALF my money back, AND I would have to pay the postage. If you live in the UK (or the EU) you have also have to pay the tax (VAT) before the carrier they use will deliver to you.

True some goods may arrive, others not. Whether or not you get your order will be a matter of luck, there is no guarantee. But even when you receive your goods, the product may breakdown within hours or days and most unlikely months. Sometimes goods come defective and that means it will not work from the get go.

The problem is that even when your product was received defective, you will not get a replacement unless you pay for shipping of both the defective product back to them and for the replacement product. My advice would be for you to try get what you want from somewhere else.

Yes it is secure, and the products are great! If you want it fast choose expedited shipping. It's worth it, standard shipping could take anywhere from 4-6 weeks. Product ships from China. I payed using PayPal, which is very secure in my opinion. It's safe!

I would like to share my experience and hope it will help you make your decisions. I live in Canada. I bought a smart watch and a smart phone. The watch was shipped on Dec 13th and the phone on Dec 21st. The tracking was good up to the point when they left China. Canada post does not provide tracking service for inbound international parcels. The items were kept in dark since then. I contacted the customer service, they were very responsive but the delivery was out of their hands. On Jan. 15th, the watch was delivered in my mail and I got a notice from Canada Post to pickup the phone at their office. They both were in good condition and working. It would take a while and you will get your orders. For me, from order to my address is about 1.5 month. Hope it is helpful and good luck with yours.

You'd have to elaborate a bit on what you mean by secure. I have ordered from them 6 times; one order never arrived but all the others did w/ no problem. I've never used Paypal w/ them (just my c/c) but it's likely a good idea to do so. Generally they ship quickly; most shipping delays appear to occur in transit (not within their control). On one occasion I found their explanation, re: shipping delay, questionable - they said they were doing 'product testing' - what? Other than that occurrence, they shipped my items quickly. When ordering from half-way around the world it's helpful to have some patience.

Hi there,
I have been dealing with Gearbest for about 12 months and bought 20 items.

There has been the odd hickup but they resolved it quickly to my satisfaction.

Occasionally a little slow to replying but the important thing is to make sure you select the correct box for your communication.

I have to say that I now deal more off Aliexpress.com. Whom I are very impressed with. It is possible to communicate directly with the supplier

Yes i have used gearbest multiple times and all orders have been received. Also they offer 100% garrenty that you will get them.if you are still concerned pay 2 dollars extra for tracking. Please note shipping times vary from item to item some arrive in nz for me in 1 week some arrive 1 month. Thanks

Horrible experience… They lied about shipping my item twice before they finally shipped it AFTER Christmas and missed the deadlinestwice... We ended up buying the same product from a local company and will have to return their product that finally arrived. We will be paying the return shipping. NEVER AGAIN!

I would definitely no buy anything from them, I paid for an item the 26Nov15-16Jan16, I still have no product and have asked for my money back since Dec15. They keep saying the item is shipped and will not refund my money. DO NOT BUY FROM GEARBEST, I feel they are scamming people.

Use PayPal. I have not had any trouble. The only thing is if they are out of stock on an item they do not tell you so it takes longer to get that item. But everything I have ordered has showed up eventually.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS AND SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO SELL IN THE USA. IT TOOK MY ORDER ALMOST 5 WEEKS TO ARRIVE AND THEN TO FIND OUT THAT 2 OF MY MOTORS WERE BAD. THAT TOOK ANOTHER 2 MONTHS TO RECTIFY. SERIOUSLY GO TO EBAY OR AMAZON TO GET WHAT YOU WANT. I am not a bot, and I have received everything I've ordered. If you order from China, it takes a while. For example, I bought an action cam around December 21st, and received it yesterday. Part of shipping delays have to do with customs, and part of them have to do with gear best. I've questioned why something hasn't shipped before, and was given the option to wait, order something else using what I spent as credit, or cancel. I chose to wait, and it shipped 2 days later.

I bought 2 items and for both I received the proof of shipment, the whole package in photo with address and so on printed on it. I got my 1st package amd it's the original Xiaomi Hybrid Dual Driver earphones. I think next days I'll get the second package since it's already in Italy, in the department where the Italian Post Office Company gathers the foreign packages. It's the Xiaomi mi Band 1S so, I'll post my review. I cvan only talk about my items. Honestly I would not buy bigger items due to custom taxes. I cross the fingers, so far so good.

I still buy stuff from gearbest but i now use paypal when making purchases because it guarantees your product or they will refund your money. Its an extra level of free protection. I have always received my items but sonetime there are missing components like a charging cable. Im still waiting for the resolution from that purchase. Just protect your self.

Do not order from them! I ordered a product 5 days before Thanksgiving and I never received it! I turned them in to the better business Bureau. They charged my card but I never ever received the product. They are scammers!

I have purchased about 25 items in the last year and half on Gearbest. 3 items failed to show up, and I was refunded all 3 times. It sucked, I had ordered stuff I wanted and never got them, but at least they understood and refunded me. If you ask to be refunded in your GB wallet, they also include a few extera GB points that you can use towards the purchase of a new item.

As some have said, always use Paypal, it's just the safest way to get you money back should something happen. But I have never had to use Paypal to open a claim, Gearbest have always fixed an issue themselves. But it's just safe practice on any purchase on the web, not just on Gearbest.

Shipping is slow, I have been paying for tracking with Netherland post in recent purchases. My last order, a tablet, took about 20 days to come in. Regular free shipping takes about a month. I have received some items in 2 weeks, a nd other close to 2 months, but in general 1 month. Bt that's beyond their control once it's shipped. I think they're slow to prepare the order...

I have left reviews for every time I purchased. My most recent review was Janu 2nd for a Xiaomi power bank. Go on the web site, search for Original Xiaomi Pocket 10000mAh Mobile Power Bank - SILVER, go in reviews, search for Jan 2nd in the reviews, my title is: Nice quality power bank. My user name is Al. Ypou'll see that Im a regular customer not a paid employee, even thought I did leave a 5 star review but that's because this product is that good...

Avoid it like the plague. If anything goes wrong and you need a refund they will make you send the item back via a fully tracked means which will cost a fortune and then only give you a credit note.

Worst thing i ever did was spend money with these wankers.

Like any other chinese vendors, I suggest you to only make small priced orders to avoid customs and further taxations. You can pay with PayPal so you are fully protected in case of any problem. For any questions or special enquiry I suggest you to speak with the customer service, they always reply in less than 24h and they do their best to satisfy your requests.

They are secure as far as my experience. I would suggest that you use Paypal only because if you have any problems with the purchase, you will get a run around where Paypal will work on your behalf and resolve the problem quicker. Expect to wait forever for your merchandise to be delivered.

I WOULD NOT recommend buying from these people. Their site IS NOT secure, shipping is extremely slow, and if you have to return merchandise it is highly probable that you'll never get your money back. ANYONE RECOMMENDING THIS SITE IS PROBABLY A PAID REVIEW.

Gearbest is very secure buy with confidence, use pay pal for added protection. Awesome prices, great promos, great service. Only downside is standard shipping is slow if you use expedited shipping it can cost a few extra bucks for customs, Not much though.

There is absolutely no issue with GearBest. As it's based in China there will always be a built-in delay between dispatch to the Courier and their delivery to the Country that the order was placed in. All the negatives seem to be about the actual timescale here. If you can't wait for an item, the answer is buy it locally. Don't TRASH the Company who have keen prices. Delivery is mainly out of there hands and in the hands of the Courier. Trust them I did!
