It seems to happen to Gearbest all the time: people love or hate it nothing in between.
I had some bad experiences as well, got some store credit for that and decided to try it one more time with them. I ordered a USB microscope, got $5 off for my previous encountered troubles.
It arrived within a week! And works perfectly.
Dont know what to say about them, it seems to either go very good or very bad with them.
