I told them it sounded like a scam. I would not send them my personal info they said it was the only way to stop fraud... ok sure my credit card company actually can police itself on if im me or not. Ridiculously long process times, terrible customer service! I filed a PayPal dispute because my items were never shipped, Gearbest then sent my phone accessories I purchased but not the phone itself! They refuse to ship because I filed a PayPal dispute! Why send the accessories and not the phone because the dispute was for both! They are unfairly making me wait 2-3 days even though I canceled both disputes! My order number is WW************** for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 (Advance) Which was never in stock but never noted as such!

Due to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 being so popular and in high demand, the delay was due to production demand at Xiaomi. My order has been shipped, and have been compensated for the inconvenience!

I placed an order for the Teclast X98 Air 3G Tablet Pc from Gearbest on 2nd October. 2015 with DHL shipping. Seeing that the order remained in the processing state, I contacted their live chat and was told because of the National holiday, there would be a delay. I had no problem with that. But then the delay got worse. I made numerous attempts to call their two telephone numbers which never get picked up. In live chat, I was told that the Teclast was out of stock but would be in stock in 2 days. But then after two days it wasn't. I was told it would be in stock on 16th October, then 19th October and today I find it won't be in stock until November. All this time they continue to take orders and fail to mark the item as out of stock on their website because they are holding customers money.
I appreciate that others have had goods delivered by Gearbest but after looking at their facebook page, I think this company is a scam, or just seriously incompetent
I have bought many products from Gearbest and in the most part have not had an issue with the products or shipping (although slow),.
I had written a very negative review (which I am now updating) describing one of my orders and the MANY issues that had gone along with it.
In short I ordered a phone and watch, the watch was DOA and the connection pins in the phone's charging slot broke off when I carefully placed the charging cable in.
At first I was told I would get a credit for the watch, and the option I chose for the phone was to send it back.
A month later no reply and no credit, after chasing them up i was advised the phone was received and would be fixed in 15 days, over several months I continued to get told 15 days, and finally was given the option for a refund.
After 6 months I asked for refund, and was told I would only get 70% back (note still no credit for the watch).
After many tickets opened (and closed their end) as well as being told only 70% would happen I found they ignored me and I was without any working products, credits or funds.
At the end of the 6th month mark I was finally contacted and offered a full refund for both products, a few weeks later I received the refund (9 months after the purchase date).
I am happy everything was sorted out, but had to share this (updated and condensed version of the post).
Again I have had great experiences with gearbest, but this one brought on stress, even a little anger which in my opinion should not have been the case.
Will I shop with them again? Maybe not unless there is a super deal that I can not say not as a regular customer.
Should you? That is up to you! If things work out then you have got yourself a deal and are happy in the end, but if the product is faulty then there is the chance you will go through the same drama as I did, which was not pleasant.

Yes, those guys are the least expensive, but at the cost of countless lost time tracking a package, trying to get in contact with them, and waiting forever for the package to arrive!
They sell stuff they don't have in stock, and then make you wait forever.
I'd rather spend a few dollars more on Amazon and not have to go thru the aggravation!
If you don't mind waiting for close to 1 1/2 month (yes 1.5 month), then you can't go wrong.
Still haven't received my package. Just hope it's not a cheap Chinese knock off, cause that would be the icing on the cake!

I ordered some lights and only half of them came the other half of my order probably got lost but I am very happy that they gave me a full refund within 7 days, I was very surprised that they did not want me to send back the items that I received and just refunded me for the entire order. Very quick customer service even though it was through those tickets that they open for the case. My opinion is that they are too far for the items to be on time plus I know that post offices in Europe loose a lot of packages from the experience I already had with them. Since I already got part of my order in its common sense that they sent it to me but never made it to me because of the third parties. They even sent me a picture of the two packages when they were being sent to me. I know how they look like but one of them never made it to me unfortunately.

I have an immediate need for one product sold at Gearbest and I bought one yesterday morning from them. I have been waiting for an email notification for more than 24 hours, that will inform me that they have already shipped my order. I sent them a quick short follow up email earlier.
I then received a reply stating;
"Your order is under quality checking for one week.
You will wait for one week to get your order information."
I have been buying online almost weekly for the past 5 years and I have to say that a popular consumer electronic product that has to be quality checked for one week is bull$#*!. It's likely that they are out of stock of this item now.

One of the best sites i have purchased from. Really are a great company. Ordered from the EU warehouse and came within a few days. Genuine products and if there are clones they are in the item description.

I ordered a watch in May and it hasnt reached me till today 10/08/2015.
This is the tracking number and the day when i ordered for W************** May 14,2015 02:39:48 AM $9.55.
6 Months later now they offer refund pathetic customer service.
No phone # to contact, Chat support is always busy for hrs together.
When a ticket is raised they wold take a minimum of 48hrs to reply.
Sloppy cust service, worst havent seen anything of this kind till now.

LOST COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN THIS SERVICE.
1) they screwed up my delivery address, mixed post code from card address with delivery address, said to me after late ticket reply it can't be changed. Excuse me?
2) sent tracking information that said delivered. NEVER RECEIVED IT. Followed up on their tracking info, called up deliver depot, which was Yodel, who told me, the tracking info given displayed a completely different name and person, so not my package. Excuse me?
3) submitted ticket after ticket. No telephone number, though their site states 24/7 telephone service. Ticket replies come late with apologies to late replies and no resolve.
DODGY. FRAUDULENT SERVICE, me thinks. STAY AWAY.
4) asked to be called. Asked for manager to contact me. Asked for telephone number. NO REPLY.

Don't trust Gearbest.com. They might occasionally try to cheat on your orders.
Check their web-site and look for buyers item feedbacks - you won't find any critical remarks regarding products.
Try to ask inconvenient questions about items - they will play dumb or won't respond.
Never order from them without tracking info, they will screw you.

Almost immediately, I received an urgent request from GearBest stating that they now admit that my package was "lost during the custom clearance." Not sure why they say "custom clearance" since their shipment was sent from within the US, to the US. At any rate, they offered to re-send my camera, OR, they hoped that I would accept a GearBest credit so that I could buy some other item.
I toyed with the idea of giving them another try at sending another camera, but I found the holding my $122,38 hostage distasteful.
I contacted them and said, ok, re-ship.
PayPal had already abandoned my request that since GearBest wasn't going to make things right, perhaps PayPal should.
So when GearBest wrote back "Could you please help to close the case first so that we can apply for this reshipment? When it is a case situation, we can not apply for the reshipment due to our policy and system." I felt tricked again. PayPal had already shut their case down, so what is this GearBest plea about?
I was still trying to keep my blood-pressure under control when I by chance noticed that my PayPal balance had increased. Turns out, that without notifying me, PayPal reversed my $122.38 payment to GearBest. They offered no information as to why, though I suspect it may have something to do with my sitejabber statement.
I'm pleased, but grumbling, that PayPal finally took the moral high ground. GearBest could learn from them.
I wrote GearBest back and told them I will not be doing business with them in the future *because* they dragged their feet every step of the way. Some people MAY be having success with GearBest. I most certainly did not.
I'm done with the whole issue. I wish others success.

I've bought 2 items of xiaomi piston 3 reddot design, and I'm very satisfied. It came to me for 20 days, because i've ordered free shipping.

I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use.
