I purchased a XiaoMi RedMi Note 8 during one of the sales, and the price was absolutely fantastic. Delivery only took around a week, and considering this was during the height of the covid pandemic, I was super surprised at how quick it arrived. Especially given the low cost of the delivery option I chose!
Just had a look at the star rating on this site. They must be writing their own reviews or paying people to write them.
In short, bought a Fitbit watch, does not work, tried using their system which didn't work until I got through to them via Facebook.
17 communications and 17 apologies later I still have a dead watch.
Made a claim via PayPal, hopefully they can get these hopeless, useless company to fix the watch, repack it or refund... I won't hold my breath though. Unless you have money to burn... do not use.

This is a review for the website of Gearbest.
I ordered some products from the website on 4/28/20. The estimated time to ship the product was about 1 month. I ordered the products but I did not receive the products. After over 1 month had passed I began having contact with the seller to ask about a status update.
The seller was patient, responsive and respectful with me. The seller said he shipped the order. He gave me the tracking number. My local shipping carrier identified that the tracking number was valid but they didn't receive the package. The seller offered me a refund. The seller and I were able to come to a mutual conclusion.
The support staff on the website was able to work with the seller to help me with the refund. The support staff was helpful, friend and provided communication in a timely manner. Although I didn't receive the product, the customer service was excellent and so I would be happy to use the website again.

Despite all the fake positive reviews, I am a real customer purchasing 3 orders from GearBest. Out of 4 items I ordered 5 months ago, I received 1 item only. The rest 3 items are still missing and nobody knows where they are. On GearBest web page it marked they were delivered which is a complete lie. This company is basically a thief and scammer. They took your money but don't ship your goods. Please don't buy from this store if you want endless frustration. The CS department is useless. If you look at the positive reviews, they are fake.
THE GOOD NEWS: After more than 30 days of back and forth messaging with Gearbest (GB) I finally received a refund for 30 KN-95 masks from a total of 110 actually ordered.
THE BAD NEWS: GB tried to make me deal with a sub seller of theirs named NICHE. The Customer Care and that might be an oxymoron, of NICHE sent me numerous messages which were in no way relevant to my missing masks. They sent numerous requests for photos of the packaging and individual masks which I luckily had. I am convinced they were playing a delay game in hopes I would, out of frustration, give up. I finally told (GB) that they were the seller I ordered from directly and they had to take responsibility for the missing masks, not some company (NICHE) I never heard of when I placed the order. GB finally started communicating with me. Their messaging was slightly better than NICHE but they too seemed to be playing the delay game in hopes I would not meet the PayPal (PP) deadline.
This became very frustrating when after NICHE and GB messaged me separately, they would send me a refund but not until I closed the case with PayPal. My only leverage with them was my PayPal Case. Due to PP timing rules I had an upcoming deadline and so I closed the CASE. Within 2 days I was notified the refund was on its way from GB via PayPal to me.
Conclusion: The total refund was for around $38. The masks I did receive were of good quality. Why, you might ask, did I spend so much of my time with all of the back of over a month period over $38. I am 81 years old and retired. I am stuck in the house what with the Covid-19 thing.
Lessons learned: Make sure you take comprehensive photos of received items and packaging thereof. NICHE did complete the delivery. The problem was that they were totally wrong as to the number of masks in the individual smaller packages. Seemingly easy to communicate, but they made it infinitely more difficult.
MORE GOOD NEWS: The K-95 masks seem to work in regards to the horrible air quality caused be the California fires.
POSSIBLE BAD NEWS: Gearbest, Niche and PP may refuse to ever deal with me again. OR IS THAT GOOD NEWS.

Gearbest is the deception! Be careful buying from them! I was trying to buy from them 2 times and 2 times I was tricked! They lie about dispatch time all the time. As an example they write that they will dispatch product after purchase 2-3 days, after that they say sorry you need to wait 2 weeks more. After 2 weeks they say that you need to wait more 2 weeks.
They lie about they shop stock, they selling product which they do not even have. It seems that they themselves do not know do they get the product or no. But they will sell that as much as posible!
The customer service is excellent, very fast, and very friendly, my products always arrive and in good condition.
