I came across Dot & Bo's website while searching online for furniture for my new home. I immediately fell in love with their website. I had a few questions regarding some of the items on their site. I emailed Dot & Bo to get a little more information before I made the decision to buy. I was very surprised to see that I had received a reply within a matter of minutes! The surprise continued when I read the reply email. I was provided in depth information on ALL of the items I had asked about and the lady that helped me was so sweet and made me feel very important. When my order arrived at my door I was ecstatic. Everything was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I am so happy with the service I received from start to finish. I am now a Dot & Bo customer for LIFE!
I was going to order from overstock, however Dot and Bo beat the price by $80.00 a piece. This saved me almost $150.00. I ordered Barstools that were exactly what I wanted. Very nice quality along with speedy delivery. Very happy all around.

Do not shop here! I decided to purchase a $600 outdoor fire table from them later last year. After less than 10 uses and covering it during the winter, the concrete tops are cracked and chipping everywhere. I have tried reaching customer service via email many times with no response to exchange the firepit and buy a more expensive one (spend more money). No response! Nothing! Stick to Wayfair!
Bought a rocking chair. Received it on time and was surprisingly well packed. Nothing broke or missing and was super easy to put together in a few minutes with a couple tools. I love sitting in it and fits perfect but it's for my daughter and she loves the color with the wood.
This set is adorable and true to the photos! It is so comfy. It looks and feels great alone, but improves even more with a throw pillow. Highly recommend.
First time buyer from Dot & Bo. The "bronze" shower curtain ordered arrived and definitely was not bronze unless a person would call blue, bronze for some odd reason. Sent it back and yet to receive a refund. I've invested too much time in this to be worth ever shopping here again. That being said, response to the request for MY money back is a cookie cutter, mass generated, computer response stating the curtain was received ( i was savvy enough to save the tracking info so I knew it was) and the money would be refunded in 3-5 business days. It's been 3-5 days. Still no money. WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY.
I liked what I saw on the website. Decided to order a small item first from this company before ordering a larger more expensive item. Glad I did it that way. I waited a month for a print I ordered as a gift for a friend. After three weeks I contacted them about my order status. They basically blamed the delay on the fact that their business was growing so fast they could not keep up with demand. After the fourth week I cancelled the order. I love internet shopping but hate unreliable drop shippers. I have had better luck with Ebay than many companies like Dot & Bo.
There's a lot to be said for having more negative 1 star reviews than positive. If it means you need to revamp your business shipping methods, you might need to pay closer attention to what customers are telling you rather than simply a generic apology. That being said, this was my first order, of course never received because I cancelled it and requested a refund. I will not attempt a purchase again. Hint, if you advertise it, you'd better make sure you have it in stock FIRST, especially when you're taking payment up front without delays. Nobody likes to be given an order date only to be told there is a delay after waiting a month, months, or even longer as some people have reported.
While they have seemingly lovely products. Dot & Bo is a terrible company that nobody should ever shop from. Customer Service does not exist for this company. The only way to get assistance is via email and they do not respond to emails. I emailed them at least 20 times over the course of a few weeks and only ever received automated responses saying they would reach out in 1-2 business days. You're $#*! out of luck if anything is wrong with your delivery or items. Shopping at Dot & Bo is a total hassle and an absolute risk. DON'T DO IT!
I have never written an online review before, but this experience motivated me to. Half of my items were missing. The packaging was atrocious and two items were damaged. Two items also in no way resemble the images on the website. Website blatantly lied about material used to construct. Major rip-off will not be purchasing from dot & bo again. Beware!

Purchased what I thought would be a nice insert for my fire place... faux wood logs with tea candles. It is the ugliest piece of junk. It is painted a shiny black with a sticker on the bottom made in china. I am assuming by the looks that it cost about 5 bucks but Dot and Bo charged me just shy of $100 including shipping! Wow! Hideous!
I'm adding a review to this because I want to chime in on the other recent negative reviews. They haven't replied to multiple email queries, sent over the space of a week and a half, even with an auto-reply confirmation of "yes, this email was received" (yes, I checked my spam mailbox), never answer their phones or return messages. I have an overdue item and would very much like to get an estimated shipping date, or have the opportunity to cancel my order. This is beyond horrible customer service, and NOT a way to keep a business afloat.
Please, save yourself aggravation and use another business.

I ordered a dining table July 7. The website said that it would arrive mid-August. It didn't. After many emails and status tracking Dot & Bo assured me that the item would arrive mid-September. It didn't. Despite Dot & Bo's claim that I was on the "priority list" the scheduled October delivery didn't arrive.
So much wasted time and energy. I've already purchased chairs to match this table. Meanwhile my family is eating on a fold-up card table. Dot & Bo offered a partial refund and a rescheduled delivery date. Simply not good enough at this point. If they wanted to make this situation right they should comp the entire order for the incredible hassle and broken promises. I'm so disappointed. I had hear good things! Not true - Stay away from Dot & Bo!
Terrible company with almost NO customer service whatsoever. Way overpriced with products that don't live up to the images and representations on their site. Company asks for a review of their services via email afterwards and then gives you nowhere to post it - the link just takes you to their site to shop. Any email correspondence with them doesn't go through OR let you type comments - only pre-ordained issues listed at their site. Rotten, rotten, rotten business. Would give zero stars if I could.

Terrible company. The item I ordered was available at several sites, but Dot & Bo was about $1 cheaper. So I gave them a try. It's been 5 weeks and my order still has not shipped! I have emailed them twice and called them twice. The reply is always, "We are experiencing higher than normal call volumes." I still have not heard back from them. Well, with this service, the company can, will, and should go out of business.

I went on line looking for a coat hook bar and found one on their website. Just by luck, before I placed the order (which, by the way, they had auto filled in my visa number) I googled to see if I could get a discount code and what popped up was that they are no longer in business. The FTC will be notified by me of this scam. Thank the Internet for saving me from losing my money.
Product received did not match photos on website at all. Brass fittings pictured were cheap plastic and bright blue on actual product received. Other product functioned but was such extremely poor quality that it had to be manipulated to get the batteries in the product. Remote doesn't work if you are more than a one foot away from the product - so why have a remote?
A sofa I ordered for a vacation home was sat on three times and one leg collapsed underneath. It did not fall within the 48 hour defective policy so we could not return it. They did refund 20 % to repair it. It was not even worth repairing and went to the dump. An $800 lesson learned! I also had ordered 5 items in mid November, 4 of the items had to be tracked down by me. One was discontinued, one arrived after it was cancelled, two others arrived 6 and 8 weeks later. The record player I ordered had a defective AC power adapter again did not fall within the 48 hour defective policy. Don't order anything from this site!

Customer service nightmare! I bought a bed which was delivered to my movers. Finally got the bed to the house and the headboard does not fit with the slats. Now has been 7 days and 10 emails and dot & bo customer services still "wants to investigate". Needs more pictures to ensure my movers did not assembled correctly. REALLY? See picture below! Yes, you send me the wrong piece! How much more investigating do you need?

I have been so frustrated with them. I ordered 2 bar stools in May they were to arrive in early July and after a load of phone calls, emails and dropped promises they came a week or 10 days ago (it's mid September now!). They came, lightly damaged and with hardware missing. Now I'm still trying to calling for the hardware to show up. No news as yet. So i can't even assemble the thing. I hope when the hardware shows up - it will all work and fit.
They won't give me a discount or even be courteous. And ask me not to be upset about this. And forget about paying for return shipping.
I thought I'd write a yelp review - but, no yelp page. It's hard to get them... so annoying. Worst of all - after all of this - the quality is not great. SAD.
Answer: Good luck with that - terrible customer service. I do not recommend this company because of the service and the very poor quality of products.
