It's the go-to site for the newest restaurants, plumbers, and electricians. But I preferred yelp's old model of nominating Elite reviewers. The new system is you nominate yourself to be a Yelp Elite and it's up to the community manager to approve your request. The yelp app also has issues with it crashing unexpectedly.
Facebook's guidelines are notoriously inconsistent. A young lady sent me a vulgar message and her comment doesn't violate the community guidelines. When I responded, FB gave me a two-day ban. Facebook no longer allows users to post articles via its facebook lite app. In order to post articles from a news app, I have to download the real facebook app which takes up over 210 Megabytes on my phone.
Freakin' Awesome Network doesn't allow me to upload directly from my PC. I have to use an image hosting like imgbb, flickr, or collector focus and the website still won't read the photo. This is backwards technology at its absolute worst. All websites allow people to post pictures directly from their PC but Freakin' Awesome has an impossible to meet criteria which makes uploading pictures a laborious chore. The moderators never respond to their emails
American Education Services, which handles Federal Student Loans, blocked me on its official Facebook page. This went on for an entire year. They do not like customers complaining about their deceitful practices so their social media team illegally blocked me on their FB page. AES is an entity backed by the federal government, which makes them a public institution not a private bank. When I called to complain, Jenna and Chastity gave me the run around, claiming they do not have access to its Facebook page and AES's Social Media team can not take incoming phone calls. AES's Twitter does not respond to tweets.
Retro Games is nothing but adware which tries to sell me to buy video games on a third-party site. Whenever I tried to play Punch Out or Final Fight, it doesn't load at all and it's just a blank screen. I can't play any video games advertised on Retro Games and they make it seem so appealing: Vintage games from your childhood and you can play it for free. But none of the games loads.
I have to click on the submit button repeatedly to post a review of an instructor. Clicking on the ratings is nearly impossible and I have to submit the verification that I am Not a Robot over and over again to get my review submitted.
Amazon no longer allows its regular customers to write reviews on its site. To write a review, you have to spend a minimum of $50 Debit or Credit card purchases per year. Reviews can only be written by the wealthy. Poor customers can buy products but their voice doesn't count.
When I finish completing a survey it notes "Sorry, this survey is Not a Match" after I spent fifteen minutes on it. They also got rid of the virtual assistant Emily. She's no longer in service.
Survey Police suspended my account with no reason given. Any positive ratings on its site is questionable, such as TellWut and Opini, because Survey Police has a friendly relationship with TellWut and Opini and allows those companies employees to write positive reviews on its site.
I finish surveys with tellwut and I do not get rewarded. When I spent twenty, thirty minutes completing a survey it notes, "Unfortunately you do not qualify for this survey." Customer service is unresponsive as they blocked me on its official twitter page. Many of the people giving tellwut a good review are employees and are not real customers.
