I shopped at this shoprite on 11/27/2023. It bought $300 worth of groceries: The cold cuts were very oily and had bad smell to them. The fruit was not sweet like they should be. Worst ShopRite ever Do not shop there. Go to other shoprites or giant.
I ran an ad for my business through Yelp. Got barraged with spam and scam calls from outside my target market spread. Had my budget ran to its max by empty clicks and people who called me from all over the world. No dispute resolution, no customer support from the business and had to eat the huge financial loss to walk away. Take my lesson learned and keep away from this company. They will take your money and that is all they want

I made a business page & put in my phone number as required. Now, I've only gotten cold calls from businesses trying to sell me client software which I don't need. I can't remove my phone number now. And, there terms now say you can't delete your business page. My page has been useless so far, but I haven't paid them any money which is a good thing.
Tip for consumers:
Don't sign up for Yelp ads. It's a waste of money based on the other reviews here. Don't use a personal number for your business page.

The new system of delivery of dinner/lunch/whatever... seems to have taken over in Colorado. But... as far as the BBQ place is involved... that place sucks! I am referring to $#*!ey's Barbecue Pit. The BBQ beans were hot... the sandwich was well over cooked and dryed out. Where did my baked potato go? And the drink I asked for was a Lemonade and I got a Coke. Even though this delivery was on time. The food... wasn't. Good luck getting what you might want if you try this again.
Yelp has been. Contacting me to get service from them. They want to charge me 26$ a day. 700+$ a month. When i refused they post bad reviews on my company and also listed my company as closed. I will sue this stinking yelp business. This is the worst site. The force small business to pay a big amount of money for nothing.
U better take my company off ur site or i will sue yelp
Yelp made it right with me by issuing a repayment of the funds that were taken. They also issued a 300 advertising credit that I never used because of fear that the same problem would reoccur if I used it.
My debit card was charged $214.43. It was not supposed to be charged. I was told that the card would not be charged. The advertisement was a free promotional and in order to create the account they would need my credit card to be placed on file. I let the salesman know that I could not afford to do any advertising because we are a new business and did not have any extra money to spare. He said we would not be charged and that he would personally contact me back in a few days to see if we wanted to proceed with the add. He never contacted me back, and my account went into the negative at the bank when the card was charged. When I contacted Yelp about the issue they were non compliant. I made them aware that the charges were unauthorized. They refused to give me a refund due to the fact that I had given the yelp representative my debit card information. I was mislead under false pretenses when originally signing on with Yelp. My only goal was to register my small business online so that others would simply know that we existed. We are extremely new and can barely afford rent and other utilities to stay in business, this was explained to the representative prior to him placing the debit card on file.
Yelp is a scam. Justine Milesky is one the more annoying telemarketers I've had the displeasure of speaking with. These telemarketers don't listen to anything you are telling them when they spam call you. You may think it's a customer calling and answer but it's yelp calling to waste your time. They won't get off the phone and will keep prying to show you something to get you sign up for their paid services that don't yield any results. Scam. I'm sick of this company spam calling me and wasting my time.
In less than 3 months I was charged $800.03 for no results in helping my business!
The person who created my profile did not look at my personal & financial interests by giving me a minimum cost per month until I would see results! Instead, I started $450.00 per month for the initial setup & continued at that rate until i canceled on Dec 20th because of no results & overcharged fees that i did not need to start my campaign online! I will never recommend YELP to anyone as they are only interested in selling high-end advertising for no guaranteed results!
We signed up for an ad on yelp and without asking they upgraded us to a program that costs $180/month. We asked for proof that we agreed and they said "you let it go for months without cancelling." We were behind in reconciling out credit card account and did not notice it. They refused to help.
They behave as big brogther like the rest of those who have some static rigid guidelines without attempting to understand anything about the review posted on their site. They simply remove your post and that is it without attempting to discuss anything with the one who posted it.
Do not waste your time reviewing businesses at their site nor accept their reviews as genuine representation of their clients. In my opinion, they cator to businesses not to consummers.
Upon starting my business, I went to yelp first to get the word out. Call after call.after call...constantly from yelp. Hounding me to pay to advertise and boost my business. Thus far I hadn't had even 1 customer via yelp. No way would I pay them. Advertised on my own and finally started getting a few customers. Politely asked them if they could please go on yelp and leave a review. Never asked for positive or negative. 5 left glowing reviews...YAY. Yelp deleted all of them. Several months later 3 more were posted and subsequently deleted. Yelp is nothing short of extortionists! Not paying them=deleted reviews
Yelp has purposely and maliciously damaged my good name and my company because I criticize them for advertising unlicensed contractors I would like nothing more than to see them disappear in a pile of dust
I own a local towing company on the east coast. Amazing how both of my leads were from California. The sales person actually would not call me back later to discuss a plan when I specifically told her at the beginning of the call I had a client to meet shortly. I ended up being late to the job by trying to be respectful to the representative. Don't give them anything but the poor reviews they deserve.

Business ad and upgrade package. $5/day max but was charged $9/day
Made the mistake of joining yelp for solo musician advertising, I could not find my own ad that was costing $16.00 a day, - Quit in one month. They tried 12 times to charge my CC that I had Blocked and finally got in somehow and took $342.00 (bank is trying to find out how they got in) I knew I would probably have to pay. But not by Bank Fraud! This Company is Puke! Do not waste your money and time! Zero Stars! One Turd!
Issued unauthorized charges, Slimy
Issued unauthorized charges, on a holiday no less, even after expressly agreeing they would not. I had to cancel a business credit card and am going to have to file a dispute, then re-connect all accounts using that credit card, just prior to a trip. Big, big hassle! They totally lied, I'm pretty upset -
1st day on yelp I got scam calls so I called to cancel my business on yelp. They charged my CC $103.97 for one day being on their site. So they not only screwed me, I now get scammers calling me and no one will return my calls so now I have to cancel my CC! Worst decision I ever made! Yelp rips people off!
Tip for consumers:
Yelp isn't a retail store it's a rip off site for businesses
I wrote an honest to God truth of what happened to my child at steilacoom cooperative preschool, where Kelsey, the blue class teacher and Diana ganged up on me after self diagnosing my child and further insulting her and the other kids. I would hope no one ever has to deal with neither of them, but especially Kelsey. Yelp decided to take my review down after all of the board members- the ones running the steilacoom cooperative preschool, just because they didn't want the truth coming out. Yelp is supposed to be a place where people should be able to leave an honest, raw review to help other people decide how to proceed. Yelp deleted all of the honest review from steilacoom cooperative preschool about Kelsey, BUT KEPT ALL THE FAKE GOOD REVIEWS MADE UP BY THE BOARD MEMBERS THAT RUN THE SCHOOL.
Tip for consumers:
Yelp is not accurate. They let businesses write fake reviews and delete honest reviews. Steilacoom cooperative preschool's Kelsey J is a horrible preschool teacher along with the board members that are her friends. She teaches nothing and let kids run crazy and spends her time waiting to leave or gossiping about the kids and parents if they're not her friends. She is toxic and people need to know.
I bought a Derek Jeter baseball from this company. They stated that the baseball will pass a PSA/DNA testing to assure authenticity of signature 100%. It didn't and I asked for the cost of the testing to be reimbursed. They didn't reimburse me and just stopped communicating with me. The ball was a FRAUD! Please be sure when dealing with this company and the seller of the ball was Katie wade Her listing on EBay is JSK10 do not buy from her!
Yelp will alter your reviews so that you can advertise with them. They will have one of their "yelpers" write a negative review and that is the one that they will showcase for your business, then they will contact you and tell you how they can help you remove that negative review. If you don't advertise with them they will only showcase the 1 negative review and will not showcase any of your positive reviews. Pure wicked!
I was solicited by a yelp representative to try their B2B marketing tools with pay for click ads. I was skeptical that any qualified leads would come through yelp as I am not a retail business. I wes told I could try at no cost, monitor my spending, and cancel at anytime. After about 2 weeks I had accrued $28 dollars in click charges with not a single email or phone inquiry so I cancelled. My bill came in at $62 with all kinds of hidden fees charged.
Yelp contacted my office a few weeks ago offering a free trial of their ads. They subsequently sent a bill for $322. Some free trial. Watch out for this deceptive business practice.

I had an add posted on yelp. They charged me 2 weeks early. I then called and canceled my add. They told me they would refund me, which has never happened. Then again March 1st They charged me again after I had canceled the account. The guy I spoke with at customer service was very rude. He told me they charge your account when they need to. I have been trying to get intouch with them and the number keeps telling me they are closed. The phone number says they are open till 9 pm. It is now 5:30 pm and the phone has said closed since 10 this morning. I will never use this company again. Oh and they will not remove my cc from the account.

I am trying to screen shot the bills but the app will not let me take a screen shot.

I call them whenever we have a plumbing issue. Fast and knowledgeable.
Our home is 130 years old, and we have had plumbing issues with our old radiators. When we bought a new efficient gas heater, they did all the plumbing. They have always been able to fix everything properly.
I was told by yelp that I needed to add my card before they could show me whay my page looked like and I wouldn't be charged until I approved they page when the guy called to get my approval I wasn't able to answer this happened a couple of times but I never approved anything and they took $160.00 from account without my APPROVALS BE AWARE DONT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD UPFRONT
They keep taking my good reviews down, this is my last month with yelp…….they don't have answers why.
Don't use Yelp, don't believe Yelp and definitely don't put your business on Yelp! I have a small business. Yelp gave me a free month of advertising when I signed up and promised a certain amount of business. That first month, I received 46 leads. Exactly the minimum they promised. Every lead had the same exact request word for word and not a single one ever replied when I reached out. I chose not to continue with Yelp advertising at that point. In the 18 months since, I have received exactly 0 leads. Every review I got after I stopped paying disappeared and I have been contact by Yelp multiple times where they try to trick me into paying for more advertising. I have also spoken to other business owners that have told me they pay Yelp to take down the negative reviews. Stay away from Yelp. It's a garbage business with questionable tactics.
