I discovered it last Christmas and it was a lifesaver for me that year. This year I also went shopping for gifts here and the assortment was even greater.
I see many people complaining about the quality, or even saying that the products are fake… hey, this is a store that provides everything, from cheap and low-quality products, to expensive and high-quality. Choose properly and check feedback on each product.

Tophatter was the biggest rip off company selling fake items falsely advertising them as real. They issued refunds but never gave the refunds then they closed down and changed the name an format so its no longer an auction site but the llc is the same. This company is using illegal sweatshops and selling fake items and they changed they name. Please do not by from temu formally known as Tophatter

Garbage garbage garbage. Cannot accept multiple orders without messing up. Cheated me on several refunds. Paperwork way off. Ignorance is a top priority as well as scam artists. RUN AWAY! I would bet that all positive reviews are by their own people,

Scammers and selling my information

I have purchased on top header for years my last two purchases after I have made the purchase I get phone calls all day scammers this will go on for a week and it's happened on the last several purchases from tophatter I'm sorry to say I will not purchase another thing off top hatter.

I was a tophatter member for a few years. I hasmd built up points to use and they continued to change constantly making it harder and harder to use things. There were a number of items I simply never received. A few I was credited for but only when I asked. Then when they changed to "partner auctions" all of my points, thousands and thousands of them... just gone. I was only informed, again when I asked, that my points put me in for a drawing--A drawing--for an I pad or some such thing. Too much changed, the thrill of the game is gone and the sight simply does not have the excitement ot once had. I feel cheated and ripped off.

Has all management been fired? If not, they should be. For MONTHS there's literally nothing to bid on - if you're lucky, you'll see a max of 10 live items - used to be hundreds. How are they possibly even making money, especially without even trying to sell anything? Are you not spending money on advertising to get customers? Did all but the Chinese sellers leave? Saw some new partner program, and that looks like it DIED instantly.

I won a laptop and was taken to Best Buy Gadgets to complete the payment. When I completed the payment my old address came up so I immediately called the company and told them what happened and gave them my correct address. The man was in Canada and he stated that everything was good and I will get the computer at the right address. A few hours later I got a text stating the had canceled and refunded me. This is so wrong and unethical.

Also I had not budded on a item and then won it so I canceled it. Tophatter than blocked my account saying I can not bid until 4/18. They can mess up orders but we don't have the right to cancel a order!

Temporary bidding blocks occur when a shopper has too many canceled orders within a short period of time. We're sorry that you may have accidentally bid on an item, however, please note that the temporary block wouldn't have been due to just the one cancelation, and would have counted your recent previous cancellations also. If the block is for 30 days then that means that your account has experienced many recent cancellations.

BUYERS BEWARE

The worst platform on the internet. My experience is they lie about everything on the platform. EBay is horrible but not compatible with Tophatter. Sellers are not US-based they are Chinese. Customer Service is unavailable. They lie about transit times and you can't contact sellers. You can't get your money back, just credits. If you buy, use PayPal so you have buyer recourse. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON THIS PLATFORM, EVER!

In regards to transit times, there is an Estimated Delivery date for every purchase and this is based on historical data for the item, however, doesn't factor in Postal or Customs delays which are completely out of our control. Refunds can be issued as Tophatter Credit or as a refund back to the original payment method. You will get products from China with poor quality and when you asked to return it you will need to pay for the shipping label that will cost more than what you pay for the item

As of this date, I have 24 items that they say we're delivered and I have yet to receive them. Sadly, I am waiting on about 100 items. I find a group most buyer need review it before order.

CAUTION ON ANY ORDERS

You might win a bid for $1 but they will cancel your order and refund your $1 just so someone else can buy it at a higher price. They won't give you your money back on you're card. They give you a credit to buy with them. This has happened alot recently. They loss me as a customer they will give cheap items that are not what toy expect

A scam site to buy junk
November 7, 2021

The product they sell is always seconds or damage. They made good on the advertisement and arrive as junk or damage. When your bid is kind of low, they cancel the order with the excuse of out of stock. They return money to your wallet and you can use. But they terminated my account and took away my money in the wallet. It is a scam operation.

I just discovered Tophatter. You really have to watch what you bid on. Some items they sell look nice only to read in the fine print its actually a sticker you are buying. I had bought my daughter what I thought was a full artist kit and turned out to be a cheap pack of colored pencils you would find at dollar tree not even Crayola brand. They list their jewelry as 14K Gold and 18K Gold and its all fake. If you want your purchase to be 100 percent refundable then always pay with Paypal. Paypal will always get your money back if the item is not as described or not received. The image below is a Wizard of Oz clock that sells for over $200 from Bradford Exchange. The photo makes you think you are getting a clock but the fine print names it as a sticker.

As a seller, Tophatter is a complete scam!. I sold over 75 items, and you know how much I have to show for it? Absolutely NOTHING. Fees, fees, and more fees until all of my profits were gone. I am so disappointed in this company and it should be shut down.

Saying items delivered but has not

Hav brought things from this site stating has been delivered but hasnt talk to someone from company told me to wait another 30days before they will do anything this one example this item hasnt even left there country an sayz on pitcures that it was flown overseas on the 16th august an on pitcure it hadnt even left the country an i get nowhere with the company over it this is only 1 item out of 5 ther shipping is a joke
