At first when I downloaded Tophatter, I didn't really know what to expect?! Then once I fully understood how it worked... Before I even knew it I had about 30 orders placed within the first week HAHAHA they have EVERYTHING you could think of and then some. They even have very unique clever and convenient items I have never seen before I saw them on TH! There are a few negatives I have come to realize. Seeing as how most eeverything is shipped from overseas, a lot of orders take more than 30 days from the date shipped to arrive to you. Yet you can only request a refund on an item if it's been less than 30 days from the shipment date. That's my biggest pet peeve. Sometimes I receive an item that looks NOTHING like the pics. So be sure to ALWAYS read reviews. Sometimes when you decide you don't want something (I. E. you bid on same or similar item and win at cheaper cost) you can't always cancel it, even if it hasn't been shipped out yet? Sometimes you'll win something too and be SO EXCITED YOU WON! Then it'll show the order was cancelled or refunded even though you didn't request either of those. Plus after I'm unsure how many order cancellations they'll suspend you from being able to bid for 24 hours. Even if THEY cancelled an order you ABSOLUTELY wanted and won auction at a GREAT PRICE. They don't care. You won't get that price honored and they still will hold it against you. If you do win an auction and say for some reason you don't have the funds like you thought you did, they DO give you THREE DAYS to complete the payment for you order which has come in handy before! Another key thing to know, their sizing isn't like US sizing. For instance my boyfriend wears an XL hoodie and I won/bought him a couple hoodies off here, BOTH XXXXXL THATS 5XL and they fit him perfectly as if they were a US size XL hoodie. Also when making a return request and the seller requires you to ship back unwanted item. Some companies only honor refund if they receive item(s) you're returning within 1 week aka 7 days (some absurd ridiculously small amount of time) of submitting refund request. Mind you, it took almost 2 MONTHS for them to ship it to you? Makes no sense. Some things aren't the greatest quality but when you paid less than what you would have paid any where else it makes it worth it! They do have plenty of items though that are amazing quality. It's just a risk you're taking using this app. Overall I am satisfied with Tophatter and have honestly become addicted. If you refer a friend make sure they use your link and they will get $10 but it has to be spent within 2 hours. There's no catch though it's legit $10 free.
