This company shows you great products, but at most they are dollar store items, and their shipping is ridiculous, i ordered on small light up drawing table back in May and still have not received it and they wont refund me for what i paid, which was $15.90. I keep messaging them about my products and they just say i have to wait even longer, when tracking says it hasnt moved from its current destination since July. So If you expect to get something quick from them do not waste your money unless you live in their country.

I am an earring hound and Tophatter has a great selection, and new ones all the time. I'm addicted to the site. The best part is, the prices are great. I never feel as though I'm being extravagant. You can track your package so easily, they post it online. Items usually come very quickly, and I absolutely love getting little packages of jewels in my mailbox. I've never had a bad experience, either with the process of purchasing, or the purchase itself.
Nothing that I have found here is really good quality. If you are ready to either return roughly three-quarters of your orders, and/or use products before rating them, for your protection, there are some fun deals to be had. Keep in mind that photography can be deceptive. On the positive side, they are absolutely ready to take things back, and give refunds.

Don't buy from them. Look at item check internet. Item can be bought from a reputable company at lower price. My seller had good reviews but when I ordered and found out it was refurbished and didn't include 2 of the most important items for it to work. They will.not contact me and top hatter will reply only with steps to follow which I did 5 different times still no help. I started this process 1 hour after ordering. After I filed all. Complaints. I searched the net and found same item locally with all things needed to work and 40.00 cheaper. The seller was electronics wholesale. Buyers be ware. I also ordered a smart watch. If the price is cheap on them so is the product. Its a piece of garbage. What a joke this company is.
The easiest bidding site i have ever come across. Products came from abroad and in just 1 week. Both items as described and cheaper than if bought in UK. Already purchased a second order and recommended to family.
Im very disappointed that items come from China... There have been quite a few times Ive not received my items... I just recently got back on the site, from about a year hiatus, due to getting pissed off... Really wish items were American made, but on some stuff, you sure cant beat the price...

If you manage to land a good deal or two, it appears as though tophatter will block you from bidding anymore. It just errors out. I have had this happen to me three times now, each after getting a really good deal on a product. Each time they have had to go in and unblock my account. Takes a day or 2 to get this done. Also, it can take as much as a week for the product to get shipped. Then everything is pretty much coming from China, so there's another 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. You'll be lucky to get your products within 1.5 months. Another concern, the images are very misleading. Be sure to click on the item and carefully read the description of what you are actually bidding on.
I was blown away at the number of bad reviews until I realized most are from former sellers talking about being mistreated on the selling side. Well, as a customer/buyer, I can't speak for the sellers but I am obsessed with Tophatter! To date, I have purchased 10 or so Coach handbags, a few Michael Kors items & a Dooney wallet; all of which were 100% authentic and well below retail cost. Most of my Coach bags are hard to find and I bought some for $100 less than Ebay. If you do not have the knowledge to know an authentic item vs. a knock off, then do your homework and then shop here instead of complaining about being ripped off when chances are, what you bought is probably authentic and you just don't know it.
In short, I highly recommend for their designer handbags & to not be turned off by the numerous irate former sellers. They treat their customers (buyers) very well and that's what matters to me.
I have tried other auction sites only to delete them and never return. Top hatter is a Great site. You can win and you do receive great products

About 70% of the item's I've purchased from here are very cheaply made, and they make the picture look so much bigger & better in most cases, I have on the other hand received some really nice items I just love! Be very careful before you bid and even then it's hard to know

Bought an item that did not come close to what was advertised, very disappointed. Wrote a email to tophatter saying so. Within minutes they refunded my money and said to keep the item. Never saw such service from any company. A-A-A-A in my book.

Top hatter is deceptive, BUYER BEWARE! This app lists "retail value" (not the case) which leads you to believe your getting a phenomenal deal while bidding. Truth be told, go to eBay and you can find the exact same brand and style for a fraction of what you're winning bid will be. ALSO, they have sellers promoting "coins". At first glance they look authentic since the "retail value" is listed at what an original would be. However, upon closer review, they're copies and not intended for collection purposes... Enough said. I'm so aggravated with this app and don't recommend to anyone.

Although most of the stuff comes from over sea`s. Some sellers have outrageous shipping cost. Therefore one needs to watch the shipping charges. Besides that it is a great site to buy from. Tophatter dose solve problem fast and refunds your money quickly too.

The best thing about top hatter is their site. The auctions are quick and easy to follow and check out. But that's where it ends. I'm still waiting for a smart watch and a Endoscope inspection camera. Some items are labeled as delivered and others in transit when they have already been delivered in my account. Also, Look at the suggested price. Then click on the item and look the price they'll sell you a second item for. What's with the gross exaggeration? So far, I've found this definitely isn't a site to buy quality name brand items from. But, if you're happy with cheap trinkets from China, go for it. You should receive your items about 90% of the time.

The products I have purchased have all been junk. Nothing quality about it. China garbage. Some of the items took several weeks to get. Unless your ok with a lesser quality product that will probably break very quickly, then stay away from this site. I could find better things to do with my money.

There is a huge variety of items on offer at any one time and if you're not successful bidding on an item it usually becomes available again within a short space of time.

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
