Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!

Why would you bid if you were unsure of paying? That really hurts sellers. Although tophatter is ridiculous, you shouldn't bid first anywhere. Idiot move.

Most new unless stated otherwise. Please always read the listings... That is important. If you enter an auction room, scroll down and "view all". Take a look at what you are interested in & read the listing. Mark what you want & pre-bid if applicable. If it says new with Tags & No condition notes, you are in the clear.

I guess I must be a lucky one here. Because everything I've purchased since 2003 has been great. I have bought a ton of makeup and lotions from there and happy with everything! Of course, I just wait for it to be a low enough price before I bid :)

Stay away from this site for makeup... there is NO way a single person can sell a high volume of High end make up such as Urban Decay, Stila, mac, Clinique and even Avon. Most when questioned will say they have a "connection" or they are samples they received etc.
