After two whole weeks of trying to get in touch with a human being about my shoes - my husband finally reached someone. Because our shoes were outside of the return period, they'd do us a favor and allow us to exchange them. The catch? We had to pay the $30 to return the 2nd defective pair. I kindly told them to take their favor and shove it. Also - after this incident, I posted a full review on their actual website. Because it was negative - it was never approved so please let everyone know that the reviews on their site are biased cherry-picked reviews. Worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.
Bought two pairs of hoverkicks for me and my husband to take on our vacation to Las Vegas. Received the first two pairs. Both stopped working within hours of putting them on. So I went through the whole exchange process and sent the non-working shoes back. Received our new ones the day before we had to leave so we packed them up and headed to Vegas. Put them on the first full day there - and just like the first pair both start messing up within an hour. Am still trying to get a refund but it's not looking like it's going to happen. Buy at your own risk!
Bought a pair of Men's Metallic for my grandson and within a week the sole separated from the shoe. Tried to return but had to be done within 14days. Cheaply made shoes, poor quality. Save your money, rip off!
Don't buy these shoes. Bought a pair in the beginning of July for my daughter for school in late August. School starts in 1 week and due to production issues they can't guarantee they will be here. Due to them being a sale item they have a no return policy. Dude my shoes haven't even shipped. I want my $ back. Had to file a dispute with my bank to get my $ back
I will never order from this website again. The shoes came a week later than expected, there was no email or text message to confirm my order and everything I ordered came at different times, days apart, but it was all one order. The customer service was horrible and they sounded just as confused as me when I called. When my shoes came for my little brother the remote worked when it wanted and was such poor quality. I had to pull the charger piece out of the shoe with tweezers. This was one of the worst birthday gifts to get both my brothers and a total waste of money. Never again..
I ordered my son's shoes on June 26th (Monday) only choice for "shipping" was 2 days at 9.99 so of course that's what I did. Didn't receive the shoes until July 6th, 9 days! Then when they came in, we tried them on and they were the wrong size I immediately called and emailed customer service about exchanging them. Also complained about the false advertisement of two days shipping being charged for it and having to wait 9days. I was assured some adjustment would be made possibly a credit or refund but conveniently the manager wasn't in so I would have to await a call back!
There was a 4 day turnaround period for someone to respond/approve my email with pictures of the shoes and request for exchange and send me the return address label. I returned them in the 11th, never got an email stating that they receive them back nothing!
Today another 10 days later, i got an email that my shoes has shipped and would arrive by Monday!
They are taking 10.00 and not holding up their end of the 2day shipping! It's not like this is being handmade they are shoes being pulled off of a shelf!

When I called today to confirm the shoes us shipped and inquired about the 2day shipping and my previous phone call again conveniently there was no notes or anything in the system about that conversation even though j had the ladys name and date and time of our call!
Poor customer service
Well I bought my daughter's shoes like couple of weeks later. 2 or 3 she comes back complaining that they where not working. But me busy with work and all didn't call hoverkicks immediately when I called they said it was over a month. Sorry can't help you. Never buy from them again. You get better quality at swap meet fakes for 25$.
The shoes are great and very cool... if you don't wear them. My daughter (11 years old) wore them to school ONE TIME... she didn't want to wear them during the day and wear the shoes out. They started shorting and working poor while at school. I emailed and was told to try some troubleshooting on my own (days after I received them). It took me a while to find the time to pull the soles out and run through the steps... I emailed back and was told it was outside of the return window... YES... even though they had record of them not working just after they were received. Terrible quality shoe... terrible customer service... this was an awful purchase! I have never written a review of anything and couldn't help but try and warn others about these. AWFUL.
I ordered my shoes on June 29th with 2nd Day delivery, b/c I needed my shoes for July 8th. I sent an email yesterday about the delivery & they said it would take 3 days to respond. I called today & reason for the delay was due to production! That does not help me today! I will be receiving them next week! They say they are sorry but they really don't care!
Ordered these for my son last month and had them hiding in my closet until yesterday for his birthday. Opened them up and one of the lights isn't working. Customer service won't let me exchange due to it being past the 30 day return policy. These came defective. I should be able to exchange for a working pair regardless of when I received them. I paid $150 for shoes with lights, I expect all the lights to work! I plan on leaving a negative review wherever I can
Why in the world would you say that the shoes come from New York, when it actually ships from Hong Kong? So much for 2 day shipping. :/
So ordered them a week passes by nothing. Call, email, call again and get someone. They say oh we were in the middle of a restock so they should ship Monday. When I say guess they won't be here in time for the birthday they're for they say well they can be a late gift. Wow way to take care of the customer.
I purchased two pairs of shoes for my daughter's birthday. The two day shipping was a breath of fresh air because that meant I would get it in time for her birthday party. Well, the "fine print" says two days package on top of two days to ship. I bought these 17May17 and it is 23May17... still no shoes. Getting a hold of customer care was another pain. I emailed the company, I got an automatic email reply stating they would respond to me within 72 business hours (no response yet, I emailed them the 19th). I then went to their site to contact them on the chat, I got a reply "we will reach you back within three business days, try emailing us for quicker assistance"... I then called the company. One of my two pairs of shoes was on its way (finally). I asked what happened to the second pair, the rep said "the company accidentally FORGOT to order shipment" SO I have to wait another week and a half to two weeks for the company to get that shipment and THEN another two days to package and ANOTHER two days to ship. The rep said "if you want, you can cancel that shipment and exchange for another pair we have in stock" Like how is that going to fix my problem? My daughter wanted the other ones. So far my experience with this hoverkicks company is late late LATE on everything! Responses, shipment, etc. I'm afraid to see the quality of these shoes.
I was hoping that my Christmas gift would be fixable, especially when they haven't been used a lot.
But the customer service response was "Unfortunately you will not be able to return the pair for an exchange or refund. Based on our return policy, you have 14 days for an refund and 30 days for an exchange for the date of purchase.

Nothing else. I had just ordered a pair for a gift and quickly cancelled the order. It's so sad because I really like the shoes, they just look stupid when only partially lit up.
They promised two day shipping. Product never arrived and my daughter didn't get them for Xmas. Her grandfather had to come back after he got them to recelebrate Xmas to give them to her. They Arrived three weeks later. He came back and we opened the box. No remote no charger. Emailed them but no response. Emailed again and finally got a response. A weekish later remote and charger arrive. Remote doesn't work.
More emails back and forth... they finally send me a second remote. Remote doesn't work. Obviously the original shoes are defective.
Called and they tell me " out of warranty so no return no refund"!
I am filing with attorney general and disputing the bank charge.
My daughter is heartbroken and I am angry
We bought these hover kicks for a Christmas present, and they arrived broken. I dealt with the service group online for months with back and forths and them sending me remotes, parts, pieces, etc. Nothing worked. I then asked what is next and they came back to me saying - Sorry, you are out of the return date - and I reminded them that we were out of that return date because of their troubleshooting cycles of learning. Their response back to me was "Unfortunately, your request has been denied."
My daughter had a problem with her HoverKicks. I contacted customer service and they were willing to work with us to get the situation resolved to get her HoverKicks fixed.
I'm so glad and thankful that customer service was able to help us.
My ten years old daughter has the black high tops andf loves them! The soes are really beautiful. She get compliments every time she wears them.
I absolutely love my hoverKicks! They are amazing and every time I go out. I'm constantly being asked where I got my shoes from. So it looks like you guys will have new customers soon!
THIS SITE'S REVIEWS ARE ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. ONE SHOE WORKED FOR A DAY, THE OTHER NEVER EVEN WORKED. THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE. THEY DRAG YOU ALONG UNTIL THE RETURN DATE IS PASSED AND THEN THEY SAY THEIR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IS NO LONGER COVERED BY THE RETURN POLICY. Waste of time, energy and money.
I have always envied kids with blinking. Colored light in their sneakers. Finally I could buy a pair! I was so excited when they arrived. They fit well and lived up to my expectation walking down the street, colored blinking make me very happy. I have got excellent. That's why I suggest it to all.
Answer: Sad to say, I've had the same problem. I've had my shoes for a week now and at the end of the week most of the colors wont appear when I press the button inside the shoe. But when it does work, it only flashes one color, then dies out. I think the problem is that the lights shorted out. Meaning the shoes are cheap and HoverKicks is a scam.
Answer: Don't believe that they ship in 2 days. I got my shoes in 4 weeks and the remote doesn't even work AND 1 week from having them and none of the lights work.
Answer: They run a little small so order a size up.
