Don't last 2 weeks

I have bought a pair of hoverkicks and in about a week, the lights on one shoe is acting up. The back of the shoe is lighting and not the front. I believe soon the whole shoe will not work. Looking towards a new LED Sneaker that has a good brand and works for a lifetime. Really disappointed!

I ordered a pair of shoes on July 11th, then I received an email saying it was delivered and I never get it. I sent an e mail to hoverkicks and they said they have to make a claim to UPS that takes from 7 to 8 business days and find it out what happened... I am going out of country in three days without an answer, I explain to the customer service but seems like they don't care. Sorry to hear that... bla bla bla... I will wright a honest review on this site because first you have to take care of your customer and then you deal with UPS, like other sites like amazon. Com, my cousin had the same problem and amazon first took care of him and then the rest. This is respect!

I am so disappointed. From day one, the shoes were defestive, the battery went after 2 days, then they sent a new one. THEN the wire stopped working, they sent a new one, then the other battery stopped working
All within 8 days or so.
Have yet to hear back from them, they don't call you or pick up due to the amounts of complaints. I would really like my money back. I, doubt it will happen

Prior to ordering the Hooverkicks I contacted customer service to determine the best size to order for my daughter. She wears a size 5, the website strongly suggests ordering 1/2 bigger but doesn't carry 1/2 sizes.The customer service rep instructed me to order a size 6. We received the size 6 and they were entirely too big. No returned instructed included in the box therefore I had to logged on since a request to exchange and way for return instruction which is inconvenient. I contacted customer service to have the shipping wave since I was instructed by the customer service rep to order a size 6. I was informed the return shipping is the customer's responsibility even though initial shipping was free. I'm not sure why I was penalized. In addition, the gold buckle on the shoe was shipped bent.

I purchased 2 pairs for my kids. My daughter's came defective and broke after 2 days! Hoverkicks replaced them but made ME pay the shipping to return their defective product. They did send free batteries. Her replacement shoes took almost 3 weeks to arrive. My son didn't wear his for those 3 weeks to be nice. Now that he is wearing them for a month now, his right shoe stopped working. Hoverkicks said they won't replace it bc it's passed the 30 day warranty. Hoverkicks also deletes negative comments on their Instagram within SECONDS! Hoverkicks also BLOCKED my son bc someone asked him for a review, and before he could give it, they blocked him! They don't want you to know that their products are GARBAGE! SAVE your money!

I wish u would have read this forum first! They don't last! If you want to pay $70 for a shoe to last a month maybe two then ok! But they will STOP working! PROMISE!

Do not order any kicks from hoverkicks! They only have a 30 day warranty. Their shoes are defective after 30 days. I bought my son sneakers from them and received on March 12,2016. He only wore the sneakers 3 times. I sent an email in May advising of the issue. Never received a response back. I called hoverkicks in June and they sent a replacement battery. When I went to replace the battery in the sneaker I noticed the the problem was not with the battery. The wire to the connector came a part from inside the soles. I called them back to advise of the issue. I was advised since it was after 30 days, there is nothing they can do. They can't even repair the connector. I did not request money back. All I wanted was the connector repaired. Most manufacturer have a year warranty. Waste of money!

Such a let down!

I ordered a pair for my daughters 12th Birthday, they were the ONLY thing she wanted. She put them on that morning and was the happiest kid in the world. She took them to school that day and turned the lights on at recess only for one shoe to not work. Husband took a look and said send them back the connections are Messed up. So I went through a lengthy process and was finally approved to send them back. She received a new pair within a few days. This new pair has lights that don't work or they stay one color. The velcro strap is coming apart. The material is cheap and are cheaply made. My niece got a pair also for her birthday April 18th and by may 18th they no longer would light up. 30 day period had lapsed, her parents couldn't return them.

Not up to par...

I purchased two pairs of hover kicks within the last month. Because of all the compliments my children received on them, I purchased a pair for my niece. I believe recent events of hover kicks malfunctioning has caused shipments to be held up in customs. My niece's sneakers were due to arrive on Monday 6/6 but as of today they were awaiting clearance before being shipped to my home in Philadelphia. When I asked for a discount for the inconvenience I was told it was an UPS issue. However, the several UPS representatives I spoke to throughout the week stated it was due to the shipment not being up to par. Needless to say this will be the last pair we buy and will not recommend them anymore when we are stopped by strangers like we did during the last few weeks.

These shoes are SUBSTANDARD! I purchased a pair for my daughter's birthday which was May 8th. The battery in one shoe immediately took a dive. To Hoverkicks credit, they replaced the battery at no charge. Now the shoes are lite in multi-colors without form nor pattern. Today's date is June 8. Hoverkicks just informed me that I am "Out of the 30 warranty period" and therefore we are SOL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$! I just paid $129 for shoes that were functional for UNDER 30 days.

Horrible

Four months ago I order a pair Hoover kicks for my granddaughter... We received them on time but we receive 2 left feet... long story short we sent them back they claim they never received them and we're still fighting with customer service and I'm still out of $100

Got hover kicks and they were great. After 3 months half the lights stopped working. I emailed customer service, they were quick to reply however they say no way to fix & that it's probably from use. We were so careful not to get them wet etc... whatever with them. I can't return becuz not within 30 day window

I ordered a pair of brand new $70 light up shoes (which was also suppose to come with a dual charger) from Hoverkicks for my daughters birthday. But instead I received a box with a pair of used shoes. The insoles were stained from previous wear, had hair and dirt inside them, and the shoe string holes are almost completely ripped through from the shoe strings being pulled to tight. They also did not send any paperwork, directions, or the dual charger. Have sent several emails to them, but they will not respond. Finally got ahold of someone on the phone after several attempts, but he was extremely rude and pretty much said I was lying because the shoes come straight from a factory and they wouldn't send used shoes. He stated the only thing I could do would be to order another pair and then try to return the ones I just received, at my own expense! There is no way that I would ever order another pair of shoes (or anything else) from this company nor will I return the dirty, used shoes that I received, without receiving a brand new pair in prefect condition from them first. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered 2 pair of shoes within a month. They both were defective. I tried calling them and I could never get anyone on the phone. They will not refund my money but they'll send me another pair of shoes. They are fake and this company is only out to make money for themselves. Both pair of shoes... I will never purchase anything from them again. If you know what's good for you, you wouldn't either...
