One star is too much

Ordered a pair for my daughter, it arrived but was small on her, so I sent it back for an exchange and ordered another pair for my son and tolled them I need them shipped together, today I received my son's and my daughters hasn't been processed yet even though they received it 4 days ago. Will never order through them again

Junk junk junk

These shoes are cheap. But very expensive and are junk. Worthless. My kids waited months to get these shoes for Xmas. Only one shoe lit up. Then the charger was defective. Then the plastic light up device was stuck way down in the shoes. Then then other shoe it came out entirely. And caused extreme pain. They do not offer a refund! And we were out $130 bucks! I felt like a fool. Theses same shoes are sold on an Asian website for about 10 to 15 dollars. I wish I would have had the patience to wait a few more weeks to get them. I got played and my kids were unhappy

TERRIBLE!

They are thieves they'll steal your money... I bought 4 pairs of shoes from them one was faulty I've been trying to get a replacement pair for over a month at this point they've stopped responding to my emails altogether horrible customer service do not order from hoverkicks

BUYER BEWARE...

Just received the shoes for my 9 yr old. Its only beem 1 hour and one of the shoes will not shut off. Read the return policy and since they were clearance they cant be returned. This is BULL$#*!, they DONT WORK so should be able to exchange. Never again will get my business... NEVER

DO NOT BUY!

Hoverkicks pretty much beat my son out of 80 bucks. They refuse to issue a refund after 2 pairs of these shoes that do not work. The only thing worse than the shoes is the customer service. I posted to their facebook page to try and warn others, but my comments were removed and my abilities to post to their page are now blocked. Looks like they don't want people to know the truth. I have started a "Hoverkicks Suck" group on facebook. Please go there and share your bad experiences with this company!

I was looking through the bad reviews and see that each reviewer has only ever left 1 review. Ever. Having owned these and having zero problems with them arriving on time and working, I can tell you they're fake and should be ignored. The shoes are great. Read the real reviews on the website if you want honest feedback.

My company participated in a glow-in-the-dark kickball league last fall so we just HAD to have these and got them in time for the "spirit" theme week. We walked about 10 blocks from the office to the field and were stopped multiple times by both pedestrians and cars wanting to know where we got our awesome light up shoes and where they could get them. Needless to say, we were a hit on the field and the other teams were envious of our shoes. They unfortunately didn't help our playing ability - but can't blame the shoes for that.

I also wore them on New Years Eve and basically got the same reaction from everyone I walked by. Friends that hadn't seen them yet went online and bought themselves a pair the next day. I like the slower blinking setting best. The charger is also great since you can charge both shoes at the same time. I wouldn't necessarily wear these as everyday shoes, but they're definitely fun for particular events or holidays.

They run a bit small, so order a size up and you'll be good to go!

Terrible

I bought a pair for my son a day later one shoe stop lighting up I try to contact someone no luck after another week I did he said he send t a replacemt battery 2 weeks haven't received it return policy 15% charge is ridiculous too. Seems to me that this is a bunch of kids running this thing. Don't buy the kicks. You will waste you money. Not cool

Bought a pair of shoe for my son and once I receive them, they didn't fit well due to they run smaller than the original size, so I contact hover kicked email to exchange for a bigger size. No answer, i called there 1800 number, no one answer. I still have a new pair of shoe never wore. I wasted $70 dollars Pair of shoe, my son never wore, never got to injoy them.

I purchased from Hoverkicks and ordered the Big Kids Orion (black) with remote. After reading the reviews I was terrified that my order would turn out like everyone else's. Once the shoes came in I immediately opened them up and started charging them so I could see how they worked, and I am sooo relieved that they are perfect! Exactly what I ordered, shoes work great, light up bright, the remote works awesome, and they fit my brother perfect. I thought I'd post a review to show that they're not all bad, hopefully this helps someone.

I purchased shoes from Hoverkicks.com on Dec 18,2016. They arrived on December 22. The shoes are supposed to light up. One shoe did not light up. I contacted their 800 number the next day and was advised to check the battery connection in the shoe. I did that and the shoe still did not work. I was told to take pictures of the shoes to ensure they were not damaged and return them to the company, who required me to send them a tracking number, which I had to purchase through the postal service. There is a 15% re-stocking fee indicated on their website. I asked about whether I would get a full refund since the shoes did not work. I was told I would, that the re-stocking fee was for those people who returned the shoes because they did not like them. I returned the shoes and was issued a refund to my Paypal account in the amount of $67.15 on January 25th, 2017. I immediately contacted the company about the remainder of my money and spoke with "Dave". He advised that I should have received a full refund and that he would "walk the request to pay the remaining money over and it should be completed within 24 hours." On February 6th, I sent a follow-up email to Hoverkicks and received no response. On 2/17/17, I sent a second email requesting my remaining refund amount. I received an email this morning stating that a decision had been made by upper management who determined that the 15% re-stocking fee would not be refunded. When I replied back that this was unacceptable and I expected that the assurances of a full refund be honored, I received no additional response.

The internet complaint boards are riddled with complaints of a similar nature, no working shoes, excuses as to why people aren't entitled to a refund, poor customer service. The abundance of complaints seems to indicate that it is an accepted business practice to send out effective shoes and keep part of the money from the purchase price. That in itself is a scam that should be looked into by the AG's office.

I would NEVER buy from Hover Kicks again! There are many other websites that sell LED sneakers, however the sneakers come from China and I thought they would be of poor quality, also I wanted the remote so I purchased from the Hover Kicks site. Well their sneakers are also cheap, and are shipped from China with no show box. My remote did not work and they refused to send me a new one. Their customer service said I would have to pay to send the sneakers and the tiny remote back. The second time I wore the shoes some of the lights on one of the shoes went out and customer service pretty much told me too bad and there is nothing they can nor will do. They were rude and could not be bothered to help in anyway.

Complete junk

First pair received for Christmas lasted 10 minutes before one shoe (light) stopped working. Returned and received back what looked like either used shoes or the ones I sent back that had been re-wired (poorly I might add). Took the new set out of the box, charged them as per instructions and guess what? One shoe would not function. The charging light on the sole continued to stay on but the other lights and button would not function. Contacted Hoverkicks to ask for refund and was told I'm outside their return policy. Don't give these folks your money or time.

Cant even give a star! Poor products! Ordered a 90.00 pair of shoes that charged for 4 times and quit working. Exchanged them and the same thing happened with them Now they refuse a refund. Their policy is beyond pathetic You can not get a rep on the phone its all by chat or email. NEVER EVER EVER BUT FROM THIS COMPANY! POOR QUALITY< POOR CUSTOMER SERIVCE. RUN RUN RUN!

I purchased a pair of Hoverkicks for my son. After one month of minimal use, one of the shoes stopped working altogether and the other shoe is difficult to charge because the wire slips into the shoe. I contacted the company via email regarding my issue and they were no help at all, they never even responded to my last email! I'm stuck with shoes my son cannot use. They are very poorly made for a ridiculous price. There should be a zero star rating.

Christmas present for son. Remote never worked. Shoes quit in two weeks. Two of his friends have them and they quit, too. Emailed about remote two days after Christmas, no response. Just emailed again about shoes. Can't reach anyone by phone.
