I ordered a few bits from gearbest China warehouse on Xmas day. Recieved an email over a week ago saying sorry you haven't got your items but they are in your local country (whatever that means) still nothing to this day. I've bought many items from China via eBay Amazon etc and never waited half this long. For the extra few quid it would cost to buy in the UK it is not worth buying from here at all. Unless you don't mind waiting a long long time.
Also they have flash sales to draw you in like you only have 12 hours to get this deal... yet 12 hours later the deal is exactly the same
Bought from Gearbest EU warehouse a Lenovo K3 Note. Final price, including tracking number and insurance was around 156 euro. Phone is great, works like a charm, just chinese Android had some bugs and undesired bloatware apps (this in not gearbest fault, they did not mess with the OS). Tracking number was accurate though 17track site is not the best tracker for a european package tracking. The phone was delivered in good shape, no issues with local custom office (being sold from european warehouse, which is right).
Overall, good shopping experience, I have bought another phone one month later, which arrived faster than the previous. Definitely recommend gearbest.com for online shopping.
At first I was concerned after placing my order for an SJ7000 Action Camera, as I read some bad reviews about this company. However, after receiving my product, I am extremely satisfied. It came in perfect condition, and just about on time. It was slightly late, but that is to be expected because it is coming all the way from China. The customer service messaged me after my order was delivered asking if there was anything wrong with my order, and if so, what they could do to fix it, and I responded saying everything was great. They responded back very quickly (within a day) thanking me for ordering. Overall, I am very happy with this company, and I just ordered from them again (it has already been shipped). GB make a lot of promotion with codes which make prices chipper and I always got an original items. For example I bought Xiaomi mi5 3/64 Global for only $199.99! And delivery time was only 2 weeks, if you don`t believe me check track RF*******SG. That`s why I choose this shop.
But also GB trying to ship purchases as soon as possible, it is normal when you made the order and tomorrow or on the day after tomorrow it will be dispatched.
I have an experience when I`ve not receive the purchase. It was about year ago with the phone. It is gone about 60 days. I`ve written to support, they`ve checked track number and in a few days I`ve gotten my money back. That`s why I can call this shop responsible.
So far I have received several parcels from Gearbest and had pretty much no issues. One DYI set was not like in the description, they have fully refunded the price with no questions and the need to return. Support is quite fast, though there's always a place for improvement.
As for the quality of goods, well, if you spend at least a bit of your time on reviews you may easily detect which product is good, which is not so. I think, that most of problems come from people just randomly buy without paying attention to reviews, just because the price is low.
They deliver to my small country, which not all other shops do, a big plus for me. Another drawback is that sometimes you need to wait for several days before they send you your goods. For now it's their main drawback, but in general when you are waiting for goods from China you should be ready to wait anyway, so I don't find it a huge problem, really.
Apart from that I recommend this shop easily.

Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help.
