GearBest is falsely advertising items they don't have. Please see below transcript.

Manuel: Hello, welcome to Gearbest Pre-sale Live Support! I would be more than happy to assist you.
William: Hello Manuel -- I just have a quick question.
William: I purchased something from Gearbest over two weeks ago, and it is yet to ship.
William: I'm trying to figure when I should expect the product -- or if I should be requesting a refund?
Manuel: Would you please give me your order number? I will be glad to check it for you.

William: Thank you.
Manuel: Unfortunately, this item is out of stock at the moment. However, we expect to restock on the next week. Would you like us to continue to update your order and wait for this item?
William: I'm just confused -- the item was not out of stock when I purchased it on September 22nd.
William: It's not like I purchased it today, I purchased it 17 days ago.
Manuel: Stock and availability shown on this site are for your reference only. I discovered GearBest on summer, but since then I browsing every day. Unbelievable but I got every itemts before the expected shipping time. I've already bought some product but everything were all right.
Great quality always. I use Mastercard, never had a problem.
If you have a problem with something it could be a good thing you can contact with them. I got answers within hours maximum.
Not mentioned the prices. Lower than on other sites.

I order gadget, but when I got it, it was broken. It couldn't charge and there were NO sings of life. Ok, I wrote to their customer service, explained everything in details, sent photos and kindly was waiting for help. But what did they replied me? They just copy-pasted FAQ's answer from ANOTHER website for DIFFERENT gadget! For example, one nice thing, that I should "push the button on my gadget", but there are NO buttons on my gadget (Mi band 1s). NOOOO buttons at all. What should I push? Yeah, very helpful guys. Thank you! Wish you all the best.

I would recommend NOT to buy something here, especially cheap things, because if you get it broken, you will not send it back to get refund, because it will be more expensive than just forget about it.

Compre un portatil a un precio excelente en una flash sale que resultó ser un timo. Pague por el envío priority y se suponía que en 7-14 días lo recibiría, a las 4 semanas de haber pagado ni siquiera lo habían enviado aún, después de numerosos mensajes preguntando por el envío y tras recibir respuestas mecánicas como de una maquina me dicen que me espere dos semanas más para ver si pueden enviArlo porque no lo tienen en stock, y durante todo este tiempo seguían vendiendo el mismo portatil en la tienda, como es posible si se supone que no lo tienen es stock. Al final me canse y les pedí que me devolvieran el dinero ya que lo que me ofrecían sino era seguir esperando indefinidamente o bien comprar otro distinto. Un timo vaya, se quedan con tu dinero gracias a una oferta que no tienen en ningún sitio pero no te envían nada, y cuando te cansas de esperar te dicen que elijas otro a otro precio ( sin la oferta claro) y a saber cuando te lo mandarían.

Ordered the Lenovo P2 phone from Gearbest as it looked like a good deal. The package was delivered slit open and re-taped together with the phone missing from the box. It did not help that they had Mobile phones clearly written on the package under my address. I contacted Gearbest reporting the issue, to which I was told that this was not their problem but rather the delivery companys issue. I quoted the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that clearly states that undelivered good are the Retailers responsibility (Gearbest) and not the Deliverers. All obligations were again refuted by Gearbest, leaving me no other option then to take them to tribunal (which was not worth it for the cost of a mobile phone). Thanks for scamming me and taking my money. I will not be using Gearbest again.

UPDATE: Just wanted to give an update following Gearbest's reply to my review. They have offered me 76 pounds which is nowhere near the cost of a new phone and still completely unacceptable given the fact that the loss of the phone is entirely their responsibility. Bottom line is save your money and time and DO NOT USE GEARBEST. Make your purchases with another retailer like Amazon who actually do have good customer service and own up to their product guarantees and replacements when needed.

Very Poor Service

I ordered a bag from this company and a bag buckle was missing when I received it. I have attempted to contact the company on four occasions to request a replacement buckle and have received no response to date. Avoid the frustration and shop elsewhere.

I ordered in it only twice, but I can say that I will use it again. Quick order assembly, good packaging (they take pictures of your order before shipment). Wide choice of delivery methods. A cool bonus program with the ability to pay for a portion of purchases or shipping costs by GB points. I'll order more and already collected a list of 'favorites'.

This is one of the best smartphone that i have ever bought with Snapdragon 835 Octa Core 2.45GHz. It was the best value for money that I purchased. Gearbest provided me with a range of delivery methods to choose from. I chose DHL and the item arrived very fast and the package was in excellent condition. I use Gearbest very often for my purchases and I am very satisfied with their products, delivery and service. In the occasion that I need assistance with my purchase their customer service is very willing to help and without any delay.

I am very satisfied with this seller. The prices are unbeatable, especially if you bay at their "Flash sales" (they will sent you the email message when these are available). I always compare the prices with the competition on the eBay, Gearbest is cheaper an the service is very professional.
Recently I bought two Xiaomi fitness trackers. They are great value.

In the Gearbest store, I bought Xiaomi products, namely 2 Xiaomi Aqara Smart Light Control ZiGBee wall switches. On this site there was a big discount, the poet did not consider other stores. The parcel was paid by Qiwi-purse, payment was instant. We delivered the parcel within 2 weeks, throughout the delivery the parcel was being tracked. Employees of the store showed their best, only positive impressions of cooperation remained. I will continue to shop at your store!
