I bought a product on this site. Everything was OK, including the delivery of the product, but shortly after receiving the product, I received an email that announced that I had an unpaid product. I logged in and found that it had been hacked. My personal data has been changed: name, address, country.
An order had been made to be sent to a whole other country than the one I live in. I think I was lucky I did not pass my bank or credit card details to the gearbest.com account. Also, in "Address Book" my personal data has been changed.
I have announced the incident to the site's security team, but I haven't received any response from them. Instead, I received a lot of emails that asked me about my experience on the site.
Even though I explained in every answer given to the emails I received, that my account was hacked, every time I received another e-mail addressing to my opinion on the experience on the site.
I tried to delete my account from this site. There is no such option!

Just picked up an original TF RTA G1 Deck to complete my set, which you cannot even get in the UK yet, just over two weeks and my RTA Deck arrived, I also picked up an original V8 RBA - 16 Deck, which arrived exactly two weeks all the way from China, both items were free delivery and both in one of Gearbest's flash sales, so I got both items for just over a tenner, where you cannot even pick up one for that over here, if you can get hold of them. Service was great from start to finish and I highly recommend Gearbest, for price, quality and as mentioned service, I will be buying all my vape gear from Gearbest in future. Thanks.
This company is horrible. I purchased a phone on their website and right after it was shipped (can't cancel order), they lowered the price by $200. I tried to negotiate for the difference in price since I haven't received the order and DHL had no comments that it was picked up. They wouldn't budge saying they only have a 72 hour price protection guarantee after order is placed. But it takes about 2 weeks between placing order and when order is shipped. When I asked the customer service agent to direct me to the part of the website that says that, they ignored my comment. I felt like the way the company operates is a little shady and don't care about customer satisfaction at all. They basically just told me too bad. I wouldnt even have mind if they return the money as store credit. At least I would have ordered another item from them. Now I would NEVER ever order from them again and don't recommend anyone to order from them. They answer tickets within their stated 24 hours. But they don't answer your questions directly or address your problems. After 3 days, they just told me too bad.
You would be better off ordering items off of AliExpress at least there's better protection of your order and the price you pay. Things are more transparent and not as shady compared to gearbest.
