I have made three orders through them the first arrived no problem the second and third are still processing after 1 month I have contacted them via their ticket system and they have not bothered to answer back do not use them they take your money and as they are based in the USA you have no way to deal with them unless you call their USA number and pay more on the call than your order was in the first place
It is the best site to shop.It is my preference for product variety and price. You have free shipping options. You can get it very cheaply if you follow the products that have daily download.
I placed an order with Gearbest on January 25th in which the site said delivery of the product would be 5-10 business days. After not receiving the product I contacted support. They asked me to wait 7 more days. I waited, still no shipping. Contacted them again after waiting for a month for the order to even get processed. They then tell me that the item is on back order! This was not on their website. They took my money, held it for 30 days, then told me that the item was on back order. So I requested to cancel my order and receive a refund. 3 hours later I get a shipping notification from Gearbest. They tell me that my item has shipped. However, when contacting Fedex, both stateside and international, Fedex says there is no such tracking # in their system. When I contact customer support at gear best again for the 15th time, they tell me to wait 5 more days. So here I sit 46 days out with my money stolen from me by gearbest and no product. I am contacting my visa company and writing my story on every single web site I can find to warn people about the way gearbest operates their business. Keeping peoples money, fake tracking numbers, items back ordered but they still take your money and there is nothing on their website to indicate item is back ordered. They probably do not even carry the item.
Gear best... you have definitely messed with the wrong people. We will not stop until' you are shut down!

To put a long story short: My first attempt was to buy a 600-700 item. They took the money promptly, then in a day or two asked for copies of credit card, ID etc. I send those immediately. Then came the silence. Online chat? They have a link, but if anyone could use it without waiting 40+ mins, please let me know. Anyway, finally after 7-8 days they let me know that they are out of stock. I place a cancellation request. Within 24 hours of placing the cancellation request, I hear back from them saying that the item is in stock. And then the case goes cold again until I finally fight back through Paypal and receive refund.
About a month later, I decided to give them the benefit of doubt and went for a $60-70 item this time, in an effort to lower the stakes. This item was supposed to ship in 1-2 days from the US warehouse, bur almost a wekk has passed and yet there is no word of shipping. I just opened another case with Paypal.
Obviously this is going to be my last experiment with gearbest, but you guys could save a lot of time and headache learning from this and NOT USING THEM. BE VERY STRONGLY WARNED!

Look at the response from gearbest on this very site. It is just a junk generic answer. They don't want to fix the problem. It seems that they didn't even bother to read to see what the problem is. They won't give me a refund and this is their excuse - "The money has been frozen if it is in the jugement of paypal." Absolute nonsense. I sell through paypal too and I know that a seller can always give a refund. If I get a refund it will be by force and not gearbest doing the right thing.
DON'T say that a full refund was issued. More lies. A partial refund was for a DIFFERENT item and this was only because PAYPAL issued the refund NOT Gearbest. I don't want your refund. I will not revise my review. Gearbest is an awful company and I want nothing more to do with you, EVER!

Avoid this company at all costs. They sold me a router that does not work within Europe. The returns policy is beyond a joke. In spite of the router being sent from a Europe distribution centre I had to return to China to a different name and address to their company. They gave very specific instructions on how to return it.
Their policy is that the cost of returns is the customers unless they receive the goods and it is faulty. In which case they will refund the postage.
After 2 months of waiting I had not received anything. I had to ask DHL who said that Gearbest had not paid their import fees.
Once they did receive it Gearbest then told me I had to pay the import fees as the customer and didn't include the postage!
If an item is sold as described then you purchase in good faith that it will do the job it is intended to do. If is is missold however then the seller should refund ALL the amount and any postage. The implications of purchasing from them should be made 100% clear at purchase not hiding behind terms and conditions. They are in no position to be selling to the rest of the world. They should only deal with China until they get their ethics sorted.
I am disgusted by this company, their communication and customer service. Needless to say I will never be using them again.

I purchased a Voyo Tablet. I found the Symbol keys were reversed and the # key was coming out as the British pound (L). I filed a complaint and they said it would cost $180 dollars to exchange it. I paid $229 originally. I asked if they could do a remote software update since they all of the tablets must have the same problem. I would not recommend buying there products if their warranty is really bad.
I even contacted Voyo by email and they responded and asked more details on the problem but I never received a solution on the repair and that was 10 days ago.
I already have a ticket. I want others to be aware of your Warranty is useless in an overseas purchase since the cost of shipping and replacement is close to the purchase price of my unit.

I have made a bunch of purchase in Gearbest website and I have to say that I could not be happier with the result. To be honest, I wasn't really sure about the website at the beginning since I had never heard of it before, but everything turned out great, and now is one of my favourites sites.
I love their fidelity program as well as the possibility for some items to choose the warehouse from which to send them, they have a warehouse at EU and another at China and I have got items from both of the warehouses and everything arrived without any inconveniences (I am buying from Spain, if that is of any interest to the reader).
As well I would like to remark the possibility to use Paypal to pay your orders what gives an extra reassurance when buying things.
The only thing I think they might need to improve is the management of orders, right now although it is possible to cancel an order and I have done it without problems, the process is a bit confuse and not easy to find. You need to send an email to their support and they Will take care of it. I always have received a correct treatment from the support but this method is a bit slow and it might result in the impossibility of cancelling your order if the product has already been shipped by the time the support read the e-mail.
Overall I really recommend the website and if you are hesitating about using the website, my advice is to go ahead, because you will not regret it.
