Sold me a Asus ROG 2 phone with a warranty that is local to China only. Asus refused to help and asked me to contact Gearbest who refused to help also but said they will issue a partial refund of $120 (£88 UK) - but refused to refund it back to my PayPal and instead issued it to their app wallet!. Contacted PayPal and Gearbest asked me to trust them and cancel the dispute and they will refund to my PayPal, which I agreed to. Surprise, they won't refund back to Paypal! And now I am stuck with a store credit to a scam website and paying £248 for screen repair! Unable to raise with PayPal again hense the haha get lost attitude. Dishonest and so disingenuous with their fake overly nice condescending English. Do not use for larger purchases. Suitable for buying cheaper bulk items like face masks! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I bought from this site assuming it was a serious reseller.
I had an issue with a MIUI car air filter after few months of rare usage in my B class mercedes.
I asked to help with the "one year repair warranty" option,
But it come out (after a waste of time uploading pictures and videos) that the item is one that "cannot be repaired" well so the "one year repair warranty" doesn't apply.
There was unfortunately no mention on the item listing about this important point.
I'm a bit surprised and don't know how to solve this.
The alternative option has been to have a 20% refund that will not cover neither the repair nor a new filter.

Final update: it took a while, but in the end thanks to Silency from Gearbest support I had a refund of the item. So, in the end, I'd say everything was good. I also have to add that Silency was so kind to make me send back (I paid for the shipping only to Spain and not China fortunately) also the additional filter related to the first bought which was completely useless without the initial item. Thanks for all the effort. I'm glad to review my opinion.

Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help.
