My experience with gearbest is good i haven't had the slightest problem with them and as for their products i was mostly satisfied except a wifi repeater which was malfunctioning. Their customer service is good and they answer you within 1-2 days

They have a very good customer service, I had a few questions that I sent them, and they are in less than 24 hours responded very well.
I know that the Internet has a fake page who take the money and do not send or deliver damaged item because I want tell people that the gearbest is safe web site with low prices and fast delivery.
In my opinion GearBest is a great China shop to find a plethora of interesting products you often can't get at this Price at Amazon and others. Ordering for me was always safe with PayPal and tracking numbers for the shipping. The customer Service was friendly and always found a solution, they replied within a day always. I am a customer for over 6 months now and intend to keep shopping there in the future. You also get GB Points which you can use for your nect Shopping and save even more.

On 20th december, I bought an Xiaomi cellphone from these guys. I paid for insurance because the product was expensive.
My order was done with insurance paid because their site and rules say that they will re-ship or refund if product arrives damaged.
The story begins here. I made $164.19 purchase for Xiaomi Mi4 + insurance.
The product arrived me around 3-4 weeks and when I got the product, I've founded that it does not accept charge. I reported this problem with my evidences to Gearbest immediately. However, they told me this and closed the ticket:
"We would like to offer you 3.34 usd to you."
They now asking me to return the product to them for full refund although my item was purchased with insurance which guarantees to re-ship or full refund if any problem occurs.
I asked my post office and they want 75 usd from me for resending the parcel to Gearbest.
This is the way how scammer gearbest does business.
Never buy from gearbest, they will ignore you and you will be on your own when a problem occurs.
I went to my bank and filed a chargeback claim, thanks God my bank promised to resolve this issue for me.

Gearbest supplied me with a cell phone to my home address in Peru but it will not work here (same system as Europe) and when I tried to contact customer support they were useless refusing to address the issue of why they supply items "not fit for purpose" and offering no solution. They did ask for a video of phone which seems a bit pointless as their website has excellent images of it! They will not pay return postage and have no telephone contact. Their Chat line offered no help but did say "sorry"
I HAVE SINCE TRIED TO LOCATE THE PRODUCT ON THE LENOVO SITE USING THE "IME No."... IT IS NOT RECOGNISED BY LENOVO. DOES THIS MEAN THE PHONE IS A FAKE!

GearBest is a chinese website wich sells lots of gadgets for really affordable prices, the shipping (wich is free) may take a couple of months but it's tottaly worth it. The costumer service is responsive and helpful.
Answer: Some people will get their products, some will not. Some will get what they expected and some will not. I got my products but one was not what they promised and one broke after a few seconds of use. They still continue to use wrong information on their website even though they admitted to me that it is not correct. I wrote a review on their web site about the product that broke after a few seconds of use and they blocked it so it still looks like the product only has positive reviews. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help.
