Honestly, I'm not one to write reviews but this was a must. This company claim to be cheap but its a Scam. I was booking online but I didn't have the option for wheelchair access when flying so I called and waited 25 minutes to speak with someone, it was very difficult to understand the man as I tried to give him my almost booked online flight deals. He advised me that he would have to book for me since there was no wheelchair option for me to choose, he explained that we could have called after booking for the option... once he finished with the exact flight information he told me the price went up $150.00 per person, so I decided not to book as he explained the prices fluctuate every 5 hours. I went back online to check the price. It did go up as he said, so i switched the flight dates and found the same price I wanted flying a few days later. Once I filled out all my flight information and processed my payment, It notified me once again that the price increased by $100 per person. I'm not sure if this is a norm with this site and if so you are cheating many people. As a frequent traveller I've never had to deal with a scam such as this.

I bought 3 tickets for my husband and his 2 brothers to go to Malaysia since their father passed away. It wasn't a vacation trip at all. I needed to change their returning date since the process and all the paperworks were done quicker than we thought. So they would like to come back early. I called flighthub and talk to the agent to change my reservation on March 27 at 10:30 am. I spent about 2 hours to arrange these changes. The agent told me that I would get the confirmation email about the changes within 24 hrs. I even called them back around 6 pm to ask them my confirmation email and the agent said it will take about 24 hrs. Then, I received a forward email from my husband that he got email from flighthub.com regarding an immediate attention required. The email was sent at 11:47 am to him (Malaysia time, so it's 11:47 pm Toronto time). I opened the email at 5:15 am, I called flighthub rightaway. I spent more than 2 hours to settle the issue. Apparently the ticketing department didn't put my request when I called them yesterday and now they have to reprice the airline ticket and I ended up to pay more. The supervisor wasn't helpful either. She refused to talk to me until I insisted to talk to her. How is it my fault that they didn't process my request and now they reprice the airline tickets? This is absolutely a very unprofessional work that they have done. They did wrong at their end, but we have to pay for their mistake. I am not going to buy ticket from this website anymore nor I will recommend this agent to my friends and families. They are doing bad job and have no sense of sympathy at all.

Flighthub has lots of hotels to choose from. I found some of the hotels that my friends recommended and the reviews were quite helpful in choosing which one has the best rooms
I flew to Florida to visit my sick uncle and i decided to just book online since it was easier that way. I looked at different websites but i found the lowest offer at flighthub. Booking with them is convenient and easy since you can sort the options depending on what you need.
We booked a round trip flight from Edmonton to Maui for two through Flighthub the carrier was Air Canada. We noticed that we had two extra charges of $244.92 on our credit card over and above the original two tickets that were $598.61 each. We contacted Flighthub and they have been nothing but rude and hard to deal with. They took no ownership or even attempted to rectify the situation. Told us to call Air Canada and deal with them or to call our bank. THEY WERE THE BROKER! We will never use them again and from now on only book directly with the airlines themselves! Absolutely reduculous.

I received an email regarding a flight disruption and that I should call customer service. On my first call, I waited on the phone for 40 minutes to speak to an agent, whom told me my return flight was overbooked and she will have to book me another flight and will send me details within 48 hours. After 11 days, I called again, and the agent apparently could not confirm my identity: name, address, credit card. He would not answer any more of my questions and refused to transfer me to his manager. I called back immediately and chatted with a third agent who was able to rebook my flight.

Nearly impossible to fix an error in booking. Customer Service is designed to deflect rather than help. Avoid this business at all costs.
Addendum:
You will see below a response from "Midhat Z". At Flighthub asking for a message with the conf. number.to address the problem. This same message seems to be attached to all negative reviews and might give the impression that the company is actually interested in resolving issues. However despite multiple messages there was no further response at all from "Midhat Z". So the company response to "Brutal Customer service" is more brutal customer service!
Addendum to addendum: they did actually contact me eventually. Too little too late. No better customer service than on the phone. By the way, if you end up with a customer service manager named "Reyner" on the phone, don't trust him as far as you can throw him. He will not do what he says he will do. You will regret doing business with this company as I do.

If there was a zero I would have reviewed Flighthub with that. I have spent hours on hold with these people at Flighthub. They're very polite but do nothing. They 'accidentally' cancelled my flight and did not inform me and as of yet I don't have a valid ticket with my leaving two weeks away and I made the reservation three months ago. This kind of hassle takes the fun out of traveling. I've been promised on 3 occasions to get a call back about my tickets. Hasn't happened. Spare yourselves. Don't go for the cheap flights... won't happen... not worth the hassle.

Last few days was trying to book a flight to Europe for really good price and was receiving confirmation via e-mail, but e-tis never received! Within hours of booking was receiving email saying I have to call the call centre as my card is having some "issues" and after contacting the company was redirected to someone clearly outside Canada or North America and was told that card is fine but ticket prices went up by $1 each which I authorized to be charged on my card and send me finally those e-tickets, after another 24h of not receiving e-tickets was again receiving e-mail saying i must call again to resolve payment issue, and scenario was same - ticket prices changed and this time were up for $300 per each ticket (trying to book 3)! This is a joke not a website! They're trying to "hook" customers with their promising prices in order to extend the process and bit by bit scam out more money during the process... If someone from management team is willing to help me finally book the flights I've been trying to book for the past 72h then my contact information is under this reference 049-073-402! Lets see how this is going to be addressed!

What a horrible company to deal with! I booked a trip for my parents to see my brother to attend his graduation ceremony from Royal Canadian Armed force from Vancouver to Montreal in June. The ceremonial service date changed from Friday to Thursday, so I was trying to changed their trip date by one day, and when I called, customer service said that it will cost them $1300 for both way to change the date. Their ticket only costed $1000 with taxes included. ARE THEY INSANE? And then the customer sevice lady told me that she will give them a credit for the cost of the flight, less than what they paid, but will have to pay the penalties of $150 and rebooking fee of $300 but they would need to use the same airline. The airline they booked does not offer the flight when they need to fly out to attend for my brother's ceremony service. I will NEVER use their service EVER AGAIN and PLEASE PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM FLIGHTHUB!

Similar to the comment below, I booked with Flighthub a return trip from Toronto to Seattle but I accidentally selected the wrong return date. Easy enough? I called the next day to find out that this mistake would cost me half the cost of my flight ($356 CAN) so I paid it because it was MY mistake. I was then contacted the following day to be told that i was improperly billed! I owed another 300$ CAN. I told the customer care staff that it must have been a mistake but she assured me that this was the only option.
I spent 2 hours on hold trying to speak with a manager and was denied every time. If i was to have booked the correct flight the first time it would have cost me 600-700$ CAN, because of mandatory flighthub fees my trip is now going to cost $1350. I am very disappointed with this flight booking service and their ability to help customers when they make a mistake, their customer service has properly ruined this trip. I will not make this mistake again and will NEVER book with Flighthub again, I have never had this problem with any other company.

I bought international ticket and asked for seat reservation. Agent said i have to pay $9.95 to have seat reservation. I clarified with the agent after paying. He gave me the confirmation number of the purchased ticket and sent to my email. Upon verification, there was no seat reservation. I called back the same time and spoke to other agent. Unfortunately, the agent advised to call the airline for the seat reservation. After calling the airline, they said they dont require payment for seat reservation, but its a first come first serve basis. My point is, just for them to sell the ticket, they will persuade and lie without telling the truth. I hope the agency will train their staff to be true in order to sell their ticket. So frustrating.

I received an email that my return flight changed. I spoke to the customer service line on March 17th. After one hour and 25 minutes they confirmed nothing, and I got no where. After further review the dates for the return flight had to be changed. Trying to change the return flight date has been a nightmare. I called March 18th and after 30 minutes on hold I spoke with Malu for fifteen minutes, I couldn't even log onto my account with her (she said my postal code was wrong) not giving me auth to go ahead with correcting my return flight. Since then I spoke to five separate personals with a total of 4 hours of being on the phone (March 18 and 19th) with persons from Flighthub (Jim, Gara, Ren, Karah, Franie) trying to get an understanding of what is going on, as I am getting several stories and different charge quotes in regards to using my return flight ticket. I have no trust in this company, and feel that they are illegally charging my credit card as I have received charges that I did not agree to. I was on hold with Franie just today and after having silence for ten minutes and on the line for 45 minutes the line was cut off. I do not recommend flight hub.

Booked a flight to Vietnam through Flighthub, and got stranded because the airline said that my ticket will not be honoured. Flighthub did not make sure that my ticket would go through and Air Canada said it wasn't confirmed even though Flighthub sent me a ticket to say that it was. Ended up having to buy 2 extra airfares + 2 train tickets out of the whole fiasco. Flighthub did not care to reimburse me for the costs.
If you have to go through Flighthub, make sure to call the airline beforehand to confirm that all tickets will be honoured. I'm sure it seldom happens, but when it does, I expect them to own up to it. I called, e-mailed tweeted so many times.

Negative option billing has been illegal in Ontario since July 2005.
The webpage hides automatic opt ins for manulife insurance in their checkout process.
How many people, booking flights during times of stress such as family illness or death, may not see the negative option billing? This is exactly what happened to us. We didn't see it until our credit card bill arrived.
If flighthub does not refund the insurance fee, I will dispute the charge with the credit card company.
Update: Flighthub did contact me after I posted this review. A refund is pending.
Update 2: The refund was processed. Flighthub did the right thing in refunding the money BUT there never should have been the charge for the automatic opt in in the first place. Be careful when using their site.

I am reviewing my most recent experience with Flighthub.
Backstory:
I had to cancel my flight back in April of this year as I can no longer make it. The original flight ticket was for $263.82. Because I was a good citizen and cancelled my flight, I was charged $150 for cancellation. However, Flighthub gave me the original $263.82 back as a flight credit.
Fast forward to today:
I called to use my flight credit of $263.82. I was told in addition to the flight difference, I have to pay $100 in admin fee and ~$50 in other taxes. This is in addition to the flight price, which already includes tax. When pressed for ~$50 tax, no answer can be given on why this is charged. The extra $150 in cost was NOT KNOWN to me back in April when I cancelled my flight.
In Summary:
I am charged $150 (for flight cancellation) + $100 (for admin fee) + $50 (for unknown taxes) = $300 for a flight credit of $263.82.
Hmm... that really seems like a good deal isn't it?
Just so you know, withholding key information to your customers is indeed a deceptive practice and is considered a scam.
Please, do yourself a favour and stay away from this god awful company.

They charge booking fees, which I could deal with... but... the 24 hour change / cancellation policy they do not honor. They wanted full price of ticket that includes 3 flights... they would not change one leg of the flight per my request without charging me the entire ticket price $943 plus an additional $75.00... I was within the 24 hour policy... BUT... they have a policy that it has to been within the same calendar day... I called the airlines that the flights are booked with... BUT... don't bother... because FLIGHTHUB is in charge of making the decision... yes... decision... it is well within their "rules" to have made the change without charging me full price... DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

Flighthub does not bring to your attention that they are going to bill you for ManualLife trip cancellation insurance plus their own extended cancellation policy when you actually book the tickets from them. This is not shown or referred to anywhere during the booking process, and is hidden in their terms and conditions section in the bottom left corner of their website homepage. Booking what I expected to be a $406 flight, my receipt said $599. When I called, the agent said I could cancel the Manualife insurance, which he did, but said the extended cancellation policy wasn't cancelable, no matter whether I knew about it or not. I thought these sorts of practices were rare, but its easy to get caught. At least the honourable thing for them to do would have been to remove both additional charges, neither of which were authourized.

This means that the availability of Manulife coverage is clearly indicated on our checkout page. However, you do need to deselect it from your booking.
The same is true for our Extended Cancellation Policy. It is an optional service which you can opt out of prior to confirming your reservation.

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
