Don't ever say yes to their service on the phone they will put you on a one year contract and send you to collections if you tell them to cancel it and refuse to pay.
I signed up for the 6 months program and got no real quality leads and had no return on the investment. When I tried to cancel the service before the end of the contract, they told me it had already been renewed automatically for another 6 months even though I called before the end of the contract. They did not send a renewal confirmation email or any communication. When I insisted on canceling the service, they still charged me for an extra 3 months.
This is a useless and unethical service.
NEVER SIGN UP FOR ANY SERVICE BY YELLOW PAGES. They are only in business for the last 20 years by scamming clients.
One of the most unorganized and unreliable corporations I have ever encountered. No customer service no support, basically there is no one to talk to.
I have been dealing with them for over 4 months with trying to get them to credit our account for overcharges. We cancelled our YP ads in May and the cancellation took effect Aug 1. They continued to charge our Bell account for Aug, Sept & Oct. I contacted them in September and asked them to reverse the 2 months. Received the bill in Oct and they only credited 1 month and then charged an additional month. Emailed and phoned several times since then with no results. Bell has since charged our account for late payment charges. Finally spoke to someone at end of Dec that I thought was going to get this resolved. Requested that YP have Bell reverse these charges. I was told that someone from billing would call me within a few days to get all this resolved. No contact from YP. I called today and finally got confirmation that the credit was processed only on Jan 6. But they did not reverse the late payment charges. I have to do that with Bell. That was the final straw for me. The late payment charges are due to their incompetence and delay in providing a credit to us. They are responsible for these charges. I would never recommend Yellow Pages to anyone.
They try and sell you something you don't buy then they harass you and say you bought it send you late notifications. Terrible way for this once proud business to go down.
Bad management, they promise something and don't commit the their word! Will not recommend to anyone!
After cancelling my advertising over the phone with a sensis yellow pages with a representative that informed me that the account was closed. I have been harassed for payments without receiving a Tax Invoice with bank details to pay the amount. Then I received a call from an outside collection agency for payment with their fees added to the invoice. I was then then instructed that the cancellation needs to be in writing. (so the yellow pages sensis staff member lied to me) All this time over two months I stated to them that I would pay the original amount while I waited for an ATO recognised tax invoice with payment options. Then to find out that their T's & C's state that they can suppress tax invoices (which means they don't send them out). Totally misleading and are a form of corporate theft. Another example of corporate steeling from whom ever signs their contracts. Steeling from Aussie Battlers. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. The ombudsman should be aware of their dealings. Totally wrong and a discussing way to do business. Will never advertise with them ever again no matter. It's the opinion of many in reviews I have read today.
Absolutely trash directory site I posted my feedback for a really bad dr cosmetic surgeon the name is dr tarick smaili and they removed it's obvious yellow page work with the business people's because they removed the all negative feedback and they leave only positive so they don't accept negative comments for this trash dr like them and I absolutely sure they still making a favor for this kind of doctors I can't believe that that's why I can't believe anymore in those positive reviews from this Web site and they continue to send me that book and I always throw it away.
Probably the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life ordered greasy food over cooked broccoli tasteless sweet and sour pork no taste over spiced Ginger pork
Wrote a very honest negative review about a business listed on YP and a few hours later YP deleted it. I couldn't find it anywhere! This is rather unethical and do not allow free speech. BEWARE OF YP REVIEWS OF BUSINESSES. They only keep goid/positive review posts for the businesses they advertise for. So you're not getting all the information.
Total scam, they tell you the contract is for one year, but terms and conditions which you have to locate on some hidden place on their webpage tell you that you are autorenewed for 1 year
STAY AWAY FROM YELLOW PAGES, This is an outdated platform that doesn't work!
Very very bad service... nothing but lie... they made the system way so hard time to cacel it.
They are using telus billz to let you pay for it... if you call to telus. They won't do anything...
Very stressful because they are telling you can't or not my department...
STAY AWAY FROM THEM... I'm trying to cancel the avertise yellow page from more then 3years. Ago. Now they said i have to pay till nov.1I think i'm spend more trhem 20hours... to came this far~~
Worst company in Canada!
-Professionalism 0 (The client service clown that I spoke to, was rude and undermining me the entire conversation)
-Understanding 0 (During lockdown nothing was offered to help the businesses that put them in businesses FAIL!)
-Client service 0 (Did not want to transfer me to the person I originally spoke to)
-Impossible to reach 0 (I waited 40 minutes just to talk to an idiot)
Also, yellow pages are outdone by way smaller firms and have lost all creditability in the business world. Dont feed into their BS sales pitch!
SAY NOOOOOOOO! IT WILL NOT HELP YOU GAIN ANY BUSINESS
S. B
Beware, anyone, that signs a contract with the yellow pages. They have a hidden clause in the terms and conditions called auto renew. If you do not give them 3 months notice to cancel the SEO work they autorenew you and you rate struck for a full year. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH A THEIVING COMPANY LIKE THIS
I have canceled my contract and they still renewed my contract
Then I told them again in 2018 December to cancel
My contract again
And they still put my contract on
I will take them to court for fraud practices
Many others online having the same problem
They screwed up our phone number in the directory and said we still have to pay. FU Yellow Pages SCAMMERS. Use Google or Facebook, you get 50 times more traffic and calls then yellow scam.
From the very beginning when made me do a over the phone telephone contract I was very hesitant but thought that this was a professional company who actually cared about there business relationships. Boy was I wrong. They lied to me, cheated me, mislead me every step. I thought I was signing on to be placed into Google adds, and yellow pages.ca but what it actually was, was an app that is only used be a very few people. This add only showed up in my city and maybe one or two others and for $125.00 a month this is a rip off. Not only did I try to cancel numerous times but I had to stop payments to them on my credit card. They changed there emails saying they never received my emails, nobody ever got back to me, they lied about my logo which they said they would do for me when I signed on, a few days later they said it woukd be extra to do a good logo. They never fixed issues with my add, they pretty much signed me up and did nothing. I never recieves one call, not one email, and only a few views from most likely friends and family who I shared the add with.
After my one year contract was up, they kept my add up, and are doing that so that they can continue charging me interest on my $2400. 00 owing, every month they send me a bill to pay the interest via email, they harass me in every way they can.
Lesson learned. Do you homework on companies before signing up with them.
Yellow pages is a very corrupt and horrible company.
I wish I coukd give them a minus rating.
On top of paying ridiculous fees for a poorly functioning website, their customer service is absolutely appalling. Our customer service rep never gets back to our emails, which is the most effective way to get ahold of him. Once we were emailing about billing changes, and him not getting back to us ended up in $50 of late fees. (Tried to make the changes online, but the website wasn't working). I recently heard of people getting out of their contracts because of a class action law suit, so we called in to cancel. We were told that we would here back from a manager in 4-6 weeks to start the process IF our request was is approved. I asked about what would happen after that, if I should start preparations on a new site, etc. He gave me NO useful information, and said he could put a note on our request that we'd like to be called sooner. Wouldn't let me speak to a manager, another representative, request a call from somebody soonernothing. I'm so fed up with the terrible customer service, crazy fees and website that attracts 0 attention because it's not optimized for SEO or anything. I just want out so I can move on and not have this hindering my business.
I am a very sad customer of this company Even I already email and call to cancel the plan but they are still withdrawing to my bank account.
I entered into a contract with Yellow Pages on May 22nd, 2017; the media account consultant assigned to me was Terry Gogna.
Ive tried to end this contract with Terry several times since September 2017, due to his failure to perform the contractual services outlined in our agreement.
Despite numerous attempts to correct the errors connected to my account (including an incorrect website address and telephone number), Terry did not address my grievances for months, but continued to bill me.
I sent him a letter outlining my reasons for wanting to cancel, and yet again, the only response I received was unfortunately there is nothing that can be done from this end.
He suggested that my only move would be to contact the claims department, which I did. I received a response from Kim Niemi stating, claim is being declined as the advertising is appearing and rotating as contracted. She also suggested that Ive received good feedback of 15 calls in 6 months. Which is completely inaccurate, Ive received 2 calls in total since they supposedly corrected the telephone number in August.
This is the worst customer service Ive ever encountered.
I have filed a complaint with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, and the Better Business Bureau. I suggest you do the same if you are in a similar situation.
I feel that Yellow Pages knowingly mispresented both the services they would provide, as well as the expected results I would see from signing with their company.
Additionally, I was misled regarding the obligations of the contract; it was inadequately explained to me by the Yellow Pages representative.

Answer: They also posted my personal information to their site without permission. I recommend reporting them to Canada's Anti-spam regulatory body. You can report them here: https://www.fightspam.gc.ca/eic/site/030.nsf/frm-eng/MMCN-9EZV6S
Answer: My son in high school was harassed by a telemarketer and said no. He created an IT website in HS for a class. Two months later I got an invoice for $57 month. I told them my son has a Communication Learning Disability, a Medical Disability and is being treated for PTSD. They refused to help. I will go to BBB and ask my lawyer. My son should have hung up but they coerced him and he was too young and naive to know better. Shame on them!

Hi Cody, we’re sorry to hear you’ve had a less than desirable experience with Yellow Pages. If you were not made aware that you were entering into a one-year agreement, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service team at 1-877-909-9356 and one of our representatives will be happy to investigate your account.
