Every representation YP's salesman made was false. Legitimate sales leads were about 2% of what was promised. When we tried calling phone numbers of those they said had responded to their advertising, almost everyone we reached had either never heard of DexYP and/or not heard of our business. Some we spoke with had driven by our business or heard of us from another source, but in looking up our number, apparently stumbled upon a site where YP was able to grab their number and claim it as a lead they had generated. YP's worthlessness would have put us out of business had we not figured out how to advertise on social media and promote the business ourselves. If someone offered to give us $500 to spend advertising with Yelp or Facebook or $50,000 to spend with YP, we would take the $500 and Yelp or Facebook. YP really is that pathetic. And to top everything off, when DexYP responds to other negative reviews, they give a number for the unhappy customer to call, explain their problem, and DexYP says they will make it right. But the line is always busy during business hours and at all other times you get a recorded message. I expect this is just another scam to fool people into thinking they are responding to customer complaints when they are actually doing nothing.
I was led to believe that I could cancel at anytime and I now have found out that I am under a year to year contract that just rolls over with-out notice. You are not told about this you are directed to go to their website and find out for yourself. This is way worse then trying to get out of any contract. I will not endorse a company that does back door non disclosing evil such as this. DO NOT ADVERTISE OR DO ANYTHING WITH THIS BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU ALL THE INFORMATION!
WHAT A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTIST, I WAS CONTACTED BY YELLOW PAGES TO PLACE A BUSINESS AD, WAS TOLD HOW GREAT IT IS. BUNCH OF CRAP... WAS TOLD IT WOULD COST THIS MUCH TO PLACE AD IN YELLOW PAGES, WAS NEVER TOLD IT WOULD COST THAT MUCH PER MONTH. CONTACTED MANAGEMENT AND WAS GOING TO DO A SO CALL INVESTIGATION, THERE SO CALLED INVESTIGATION CAME UP WITH YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT SO YOU HAVE TO PAY! THE WORST PART ABOUT THIS IS ALL I GET IS TELE MARKETING CALLS TRYING TO SELL ME SERVICES OR PRODUCTS. WHERES THE CUSTOMERS... NEVER EVER AGAIN. RUN
Absolutely a complete ripoff. Put my credit card through without my authorization, when website was incomplete. These guys are amateurs just wanting a pay raise or make CEO one day. KEEP AWAY
They just care about money which is literally why they are losing almost double the revenue yearly. The head of this company is losing it's mind because of awful management who have no clue what they are talking about, I have never witnessed a company this tragic before literally the titanic of the business world bottom of the ocean is its end. If you want to meet weak individuals riddled with insecurities yellow pages is for you. DO NOT PUT YOUR COMPANY AT RISK LOOK AT THE REPORTS THEY ARE LOSING ALMOST DOUBLE EVERY YEAR because of incompetence. From 1B to 200 it would be wise to short the stock of Yellow pages.
THE RETURN OF BUSINESS IS NOT WHAT THEY CLAIM, COSTS TOO MUCH AND WON'T SHOW UP ON GOOGLE SEARCH ORGANICALLY, JUST GET GOOGLE AD WORDS, YOU WILL PAY MUCH LESS AND WILL GET 1000% BETTER RETURN. THIS IS A BAD BUSINESS DEAL IF YOU SIGN.

This company unable to provide most basic services, most critically the correct
location of my business resulting in real loss of income during holidays.
Disconnect notice given by eMail, verbal request to agent and attempted
Phone calls to 'disconnect request number'. Records of 3 attempts, 20 min.
Wait, no answer.
Called customer service, the man laughed when I explained
That no one answered, and said I didn't wait long enough.
Ultimately refused to accept disconnect requests, saying I was 'one day past deadline'.
This company attempted to withdraw $91 one month after disconnect request, and again
$191 from autowithdrawal setup past disconnect date;
Their own employees withdrew the claim after seeing emails/calls requesting termination;
My bank refunded their illegal withdrawal 2 times.
Today, 7 months later, their 'legal department' called claiming debt over $1000, purported not to
Know the details of the story, wanting me to spend another limitlness futile amount of time
Reconstructing the whole thing. No.
My business now closed 6 months ago.
Arrogant, rude, unprofessional and another corporate outrageousness.
Know another person who signed up, same torture.
Why are there not boundaries and regulations prohibiting this kind of harrassment;
I am over 75 years, my floral business closed due pandemic shortage of staff and product;
Why is this company allowed to harass in this manner -- their rating tells it all.
Make it STOP.
This company is all fake, they rub customers money. They lie they just look for money, nothing else. Its a shame that they continue every day and there is nobody to stop them

This company is horrible and does nothing to help. We never signed our company up and we still cant cancel... Spent 2 hours on the phone and no one ever picked up from being on hold
Hello Travis, we are sorry to read about your experience. Yellow Pages is proud to help Canadian small and medium businesses grow with a wide variety of marketing solutions. Our contractual terms are for a 12-month period (or a 6-month period for certain products). Customers are able to cancel their contract with Yellow Pages by providing notice 3 months before the expiry of the term. If not, contracts automatically renew, as mentioned in our terms and conditions. We invite you to contact us at 1-844-875-4290 to discuss this further. Thank you.
This company is an absolute waste of time. They suckered me into a contract via "verbal agreement" over the phone. My ad was completely wrong and not even tailored to my business, I was able to get the ad edited after much headache. After seeing zero return on investment I tried to cancel and was unable as I had agreed to their verbal contract, now it has been a year and as I type this I have been on hold with them for over an hour to finally try and cancel my online advertisement. This company has cost me hundreds of dollars with not even one phone call in return and they are EXTREMELY difficult to work with.
UPDATE: Finally got through to customer service. The agent was able to confirm that I had requested to cancel months ago "but for some reason my contract was renewed and its going to take weeks for them to process this and call me back" I told him if they didn't take my banking information off of my account I would literally cancel my credit card. He is removing my banking info and I will not be charged again... hopefully.
Hi Dane, we are sorry about your experience. We're happy to read that a member of our customer service team was able to help. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.
I used their 'business listings' service for 1 year. My experience was utter garbage.
1. I can't even change my profile pic for my account without contacting an account manager, emailing them the pic and waiting 3 months for them to manually change it. How is this even a thing? Really? I can't change my own profile pic? Ugh.
2. The turn over rate for employees at Yellow Pages is insane. I had 2 different account managers within 6 months of starting my service. I never even got to talk to the third one. This type of thing is unreliable and frustrating.
3. They only notify you when you owe them money. I did not receive notifications for the following:
A. Payment method had expired. I was charged a late payment fee instead of them letting me know so I could update it.
B. When my account was cancelled, I did not get notified of the change nor any other receipt or closing of the account email. Nothing.
3. There was no statistical effect on my website traffic, during the so-called 'business listing'. Zero uptick in traffic to my website and zero change in search console. This was confirmed using Google services to track the changes.
DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE FROM YELLOW PAGES.
BUYER BEWARE.

Scam to get your money - Yellow Pages sent me a postcard with incorrect information for my business, with instructions to update or change this information and send back -
Well it comes back with a $259 BILL FOR EVERY QUARTER!
Scam to get money from people for services you didn't ask for! Effffff Yellow Pages!
As a business owner, why can I not respond to an untrue, vicious review? Even your competition... can make up lies to destroy your business. There is no window, for the business owner to respond! Upon reading your terrible reviews, as a business owner yourself, which there are thousands! I find it unfair, and extremely biased that, "I as a business OWNER HAVE NO VOICE!" Perhaps, we as buisness owners, need to get together, and have a class action LAWSUIT AGAINST YELLOW PAGES OWNERS~!
They renew and increase without your consent!
And when you call to cancel they charge you additional 3 months before they let you go!
The worse money ever spent on advertising!
Never never again!
They tricked me into signing for a year. Their service is horrible. They should be taken out of business for their underhanded tactics. They absolutely do NOT deliver what they promise!
This is Raja Wholesalers CC, my phone number is *******199. I've been trying to sort this out for the last couple of months and I'm totally frustrated. On my Telkom bill, Trudon is charging me close to R5000 for a suscribtion I did not subscribe to. I've contacted Telkom on numerous occasions- which I do have reference numbers for and telkom says the case is still open and I need to contact Trudon. It's impossible to contact Trudon as whenever you try to call them it says they're unavailable. This is totally uncalled for, this matter needs to urgently be resolved. Also, I received another Trudon invoice which I also did not apply for. I did not have a discussion or confirm anything with Cheryl kannemeyer (subscription ID *******). This is a seperate issue aside from the one with telkom. These both matters need to be sorted out urgently- I'm going to ICASA complains, daily news and social media.
Kind regards
Suleman Raja

I have been very disappointed with their service. I signed up for a $30 a month plan for 12 months and received little response from the add. They never posted my logo despite me contacting them 3 times to have it resolved and them promising each time it would appear on the website. They called me in March to ask if I wanted to renew for another year and I declined. They continued to bill me after the cancellation date for $45.00. I called and was told "yes we have the recording of your call and we see you requested it cancelled and will credit the money". The next month I had another charge and called in. This time I was told "yes I see that it was be be credited but there is a form that needs to be completed for a credit and next month I will have to submit the form to get your credit and then it will take 6 weeks to process". So they want to hold onto my money for another 2.5 months. That is if the guy sends the form. Meaning I stopped it in March and wouldn't receive my credit until September. I had to threaten to call Visa and dispute the charges before they were able to give me a resolution and say that the credit would be within 2 weeks. I must say they were always very pleasant on the phone but the hoops and shifty practices has made me loose complete trust in this company.
Yellow Pages is HORRIBLE to deal with. They did a copy/cut/paste website that we built 1st, charged us for the 'work', did a video that my kids could have done better on that we told them NOT to use (which they promptly put up on the crappy website), then when we fired them for breach of contact they had the nerve to try to sue us over the balance of the contract, sending it to a collection agency that went behind the lawyers backs to get a judgement that had to be set aside. We hold on average the top 7 of 10 results when Googling our business name. When a potential customer clicks on our listing that we are supposed to have with the YPG the attached picture shows the message that this business listing no longer exists.
They are shady and dishonest. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH YPG!

Answer: They also posted my personal information to their site without permission. I recommend reporting them to Canada's Anti-spam regulatory body. You can report them here: https://www.fightspam.gc.ca/eic/site/030.nsf/frm-eng/MMCN-9EZV6S
Answer: My son in high school was harassed by a telemarketer and said no. He created an IT website in HS for a class. Two months later I got an invoice for $57 month. I told them my son has a Communication Learning Disability, a Medical Disability and is being treated for PTSD. They refused to help. I will go to BBB and ask my lawyer. My son should have hung up but they coerced him and he was too young and naive to know better. Shame on them!
