Tophatter experience

I have been buying from tophatter for a couple of months and I am enjoying the auctions, but I have one gripe I have now purchased 2 usb hard drive cases when the initial description called it a usb hard drive, now I have two cases on the way without any hard drives

Rubbish

Utter rubbish. These people lie. Waste of money. I will never buy again from this bunch. I bought a watch that is not worth even a £1. Lied saying it was worth £703. Joke of the century.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

I bought 3 items from this website. First item arrived and was not as the description, I have been told I can return with a tracking number. No problem I thought, so I took it to the post office only to be told it was going to cost me 3 times the amount I had been given to cover the postage!
Second item arrived and was not what I paid for. I bought a pink canvas bag only to receive a red ice cube tray?
Again I was told I could return it with a tracking number, again it was going to cost me more to return it than the credit I was given, and it wasn't even my fault...
To be honest I wouldn't be using the credit anyway. I won't be buying from this lot ever again.
Tophatter do not seem to know or understand what good customer service is!
I'm still waiting for my third item, however I'm not expecting much, or for it to arrive!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE IT IS NOTHING OTHER THAN A SCAM!

Interesting site.

I have bought a few things but like anything else u bye make sure you read what your getting. I bought a Quad-Copter it was a Mini but that's alright on the box has Ages 14+ i did not read it. Bought a 8G Tablet some jewelry very satisfied with items taken a little time to come to Australia but I IAM ok with that.

Products are over stated

The best thing about top hatter is their site. The auctions are quick and easy to follow and check out. But that's where it ends. I'm still waiting for a smart watch and a Endoscope inspection camera. Some items are labeled as delivered and others in transit when they have already been delivered in my account. Also, Look at the suggested price. Then click on the item and look the price they'll sell you a second item for. What's with the gross exaggeration? So far, I've found this definitely isn't a site to buy quality name brand items from. But, if you're happy with cheap trinkets from China, go for it. You should receive your items about 90% of the time.

After more than a month of being in transit, Tophatter's site showed my package was delivered on November 6th at 3:41 pm. Problem is, this never happened. People were home at this time and this package was never delivered. This is after numerous e-mails back and forth between myself and their customer service. Tophatter did nothing to try to hasten my delivery and didn't even answer any questions directly. The latest e-mail states there is nothing they can do... Really? They said it was stolen. Really? There were people home, as soon as the mail truck came up to our house, we collected the mail on that day and no special truck came out. Do not use this site. Do Not Use This Site. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. With four to five e-mails to them. They not once answered a question. They circle a subject with b. S. and filler but never answer a question.

Cheap and Deceptive

I've purchased several items from this site, but never again. The shipping is so slow, it takes up to 4 days for the items to leave from where ever. The "RRP" shown at time of the auction is so so over inflated, it's a joke and the items are no better than "carnival toys". Save your money, buy off ebay.

I have been using this site for 5 weeks now, and have won the bidding close to 30 items. Todate, I have received 14 items. I got so excited everytime I received a parcel
So far, I'm very happy with all the items I received, ranging from jewelries, toys, electronics, clothing. With the money I spend on each item, I'm satisfied with what I got.
So far, everything is in good condition.
I'm sorry to hear a lot of customers were dissatisfied and gave very negative feedback.
Here's the tip - on any item that you wish to buy, set a maximum price you're willing to pay which includes particularly the shipping cost. If this item exceeded your allowable limit, then let it go and wait for this item to come out again. Also read the description, so as not to be disappointed when the merchandise arrives.
So much fun to watch the bidding. As I have already won a lot of items, then see how these items reached a very high price, the more I'm quite motivated to purchase more as I know I'm getting good value for money.
Also, I wonder how a lot of customers are having problems refunding their money back - as long as the item is not in transit, getting your money back even you have paid for it
Should not be a problem. But I learned something, that if you cancel 5 times, your account is automatically blocked and cannot bid for the next 7 days. However, this didnot stop me from bidding, as I have used the other website DOLLARSTART

Hi! I have to say I love your website! No. 1, I love it because I think it's the challenge of the bidding, and there's always new product to choose from. I have had a few not so good experiences but 99% of my experiences with TopHatter have been very good. I like how if you have a problem that someone gets back to you very quickly and if you need a refund it's in your account almost immediately they never give you a hassle so, so far I've had a very good experience with you guys! I have to say.
The giveaway thing is a joke!
I loyally wait for the app to tell me it's time.
