Nothing to do with Tophatter just your clients who sell on your site, If they are to sell and we Bid and win, obviuosly if we Bid to win we want it and when it is weeks and weeks we do not receive it we tell Tophattewr, get our refund and no product. I know I really wanted what I won and I'm sure other people are too. Other then that I love Tophatter.

I got a I phone cover didn't fit. I emailed about it. Got email said I had to send it back to get a credit so I took it to the post office paid $4.00 to send it back. That evening I get a email that says Hassle free return with a return slip to print off that I can't use. Need better information about returns so it don't happen to others. I am new to this site had no idea what the process was. I did what the first email said. Would be grateful if I was paid back the $4.00 I spent to returned his item.

Sometimes things are great other somewhat deliveries take forever, I am still waiting for something I ordered in November it keeps saying is in transit no refund!
I enjoy coming on here and seeing the stuff you can purchase I haven't found much lately, but I stil check things out everyday.

I ordered quite a few items from the site. I received a few but I have over 10 items that still have not arrived despite being ordered in March and April. They "refunded" one of my orders but will only give me a credit through Tophatter. I have no plans to buy anything else from them since I can not receive the items. I would like to actually be refunded my money back. I would not recommend this site to anyone.
I use it alot for birthday present, or just because gifts. I will be using it for Christmas gifts soon.

Currently I have over 30 orders between March 2020 and May 2020 that I was supposed to receive. Of course, Tophatter removed the money right away from my bank account. I have emailed them countless times regarding these items. Tophatter REFUSES to update tracking or refund my money! Out of curiousity, I signed up for a seller's account. I listed items that I make and sell. Tophatter refused to list most of my items. I wasn't allowed to have auctions. The only product they allowed me to sell where 21 pot leaf soaps. None of my mermaid soaps were auctioned. None of my jewelry was auctioned. None of my children's soaps were auctioned. Just the marijuana ones. So I cancelled my seller account. Oh did I mention, I wasn't given the option to make the buyer pay for shipping. I had to pay for the shipping. So if my pot leaf soap sold for $1.00, I was responsible for paying $7.95 to ship that one small soap to California or wherever from Illinois. I lost money selling on Tophatter. So I cancelled that right now. Here is how I think it plays out.
Consumer buys a product unknowingly from an untrustworthy seller.
Tophatter thinks: Cha-ching we reeled in another sucker
Untrustworthy Seller thinks: Yay! I scammed another person.
Consumer sitting waiting patiently for an order that will never come.
TH: "money money money"
Seller goes on vacation
Consumer gets concerned after waiting 6 weeks, contacts Tophatter.
TH: get back to us in another month. You have to wait longer.
Seller kicking it on the beach in some vacation hot spot spending all his stolen money
Consumer: contacts TH after another 6 weeks since no product ever received.
TH: sorry you waited too long. No money no product. We can only refund after 60 days of waiting.
Consumer: I waited like you said. Now I can't get my money or the item? (asking incredulously)

Have gotten MANY items from them, no problems until now, I have several items over due... the Buyer Protection policey says I am to get a refund according to their guidelines... HAVE NOT! Still waiting on my Items and /or my refund! Both are LATE or not happening...

Answer: Justin you are absolutely correct. I find out the hard way. I had my own auction with nice AUTHENTIC designer items and cosmetics (Becca, Cargo, Smahbox, Too Faced, etc). I lost big time. $40 Cargo palette sold for $10; it cost me $15. Items that I started higher to cover my cost never sold. I still had to pay fees for the item being listed. A $200 Calvin Klein purse sold for $20; it cost me $80 wholesale. Run!
Answer: If you end up buying a few items from the same seller they can do a combined shipment but you rarely get the same buyer items since they only let the sellers sell 10 items a day. It is different for the sellers that have their own auctions.
Answer: You will notice the same names no matter the day, time etc. Bidding against you very often. Is it a coincidence? Personally I don't believe in coincidences.
Answer: Depends on what you are selling. Yes, a lot of items go unsold in the jewelry and accessories categories... as well as others. Coach and Michael Kors and other designer brands, not much goes unsold, because here's the catch - - you pay fees on the starting bid. TH wants everything to start at $1. So you get punished if you start higher as to not get screwed by a low purchase price. Say you buy a designer bag for $120. If you start that bag at $100, you're already paying over $10 in fees. **IF** you can manage to sell it for a profit, there are still the commission and bank fees. If you start it at $1, you're barely paying any listing fees but it might only sell for $80 (or less!). So, less fees, but you lost your ass on the item. It's messed up. Most sellers have put in their time to see if they can make a profit or to see if TH will change, but they all seem to end up leaving. I'm convinced the only ones who stay to sell there are the counterfeit or crappy quality sellers who are buying items for next to nothing, because that seems to be the only way to make a profit there these days. I would go the ebay route if you're looking to sell.
