I had a defect with an item. The customer service team had my item replaced and shipped fast. They made the process very easy and responded fast.
This site could be a good thing but seems like it might be going downhill. I have seen 2 times now within 2 days were a person has bought a $25 gift card for $30+ dollars, and that does not make sense. Almost like there are insiders just driving the bids up. I don't trust this site anymore due to this. I would rather find a good price elsewere and just pay. I spent a bunch of bids and it seems like I was up against a bot with unlimited bids.
I would say that if it's to good to be true, then it is. The advertising makes it seems easy and sweet to win products at a low price. But I would encourage you to read the small print. It's not that easy as advertised and what's more, the set up is potentially addictive because of the hundreds amount of bids one has to place in order to get cheap knock off's of the products promoted. In short, this is very much a bait and switch situation.
There's no way to win any of the items unless you throw so much more money at them than they are worth. It's a game of gambling that you will lose.
Keep having that add one bed and someone keeps overeating you until the item is more expensive than just going out and buying it off the shelf in a store.
Hi Mandy. Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear about your frustrations with the auctions. You may occasionally see the auction price for an item exceed its value during 'Time as Highest Bidder' or free auction promotions. DealDash doesn't limit the bidding in these auctions or advise people how to bid so this does happen in certain conditions. For example, some users are interested in achieving free bid rewards by leveling up their 'Time as Highest Bidder' and playing numerous bids during promotions. Then if they lose the auction, they will purchase the item at the Buy it Now price to receive all their bids back on top of gaining the free bids. However, this can be a risky strategy as the user who wins the auction would not have the option to buy the item at normal price and is not eligible to have their bids credited back to their account. They would still have the option to exchange the item to a specific credit amount, although this value may be less than the amount of bids they spent. We would love to assist you further and answer any additional questions you may have! Please feel free to reach out to us directly at support@DealDash.com. We're available 24/7! Looking forward to hearing back from you!

Hi Rob! Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you are having doubts about our auctions. First and foremost, we'd like to assure you that there are no bots or fake bidders on DealDash, as all bidders are real users like yourself. It does happen sometimes that the final auction price exceeds the Buy it Now price, this typically happens when there are Time as Highest Bidder, Leaderboard, or auction discount promotions as users take advantage of these events to gain free rewards. I have taken a look and can confirm that both auctions you are referring to are 75% Discount auctions which means that the final auction price is slashed by 75% for the auction winner. I hope this helps clarify. If you have further questions, please reach out to us at support@DealDash.com. Your trust is paramount to us and we value your satisfaction immensely. We're truly sorry for any confusion this has caused. Looking forward to hearing back from you!
The fact that I have to bid against people who have a seemingly infinite number of bids to spend as the purchase their monthly limits. I can't compete, especially against the more prized auctions, with those who have to have a source of funding, buying and reselling on eBay, etc. I even know personally of stores that sell the products auctioned on DealDash.
Yes I have complained but get the same response.
DealDash wouldn't be in business if it were not for this grand deception.
Hi Brett, we're truly sorry to hear about your frustration and we appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. We understand that bidding against others with more bids can be challenging. We hold all our users to the same monthly limitations and strive to maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for everyone. We would love to assist you further and help improve your experience. Our customer service team is always available to at support@dealdash.com. We have always prioritized transparency and honesty in our operations and appreciate customers like you who shares their honest feedback with us. Thank you again for your review and looking forward to hearing from you!
In reflecting, my first exposure to DealDash would give a great example of how they operated. And I would understand that all the very nice-sounding people in customer help were just that. They did take my advice on their commercials, which is what attracted me to the website. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Emailed and spoke with the friendly people telling them their commercials where false and misleading. (Are you tracking with me?) Their commercials would say something like - I bought this on DealDash for ten dollars and it cost $100. There was no mention of what the bids cost that you have to purchase to bid on auctions. That, especially to new people can be a substantial amount. You will notice NOW a small written disclaimer at the bottom of their ads.
My biggest complaint, and why I rarely am on their website anymore, is the disparity between old-timers and new-timers and the number of bids the old-timers keep throwing down. I took notes of the bidders to assist me. What I found out was there were people who had been on the site for years. They bid for numerous items throughout the day, every day. I knew how I had to covet my bids and what I saw was a never-ending supply from old-timers. I complained many times and was always told by the nice people that they would forward it up to the decision-makers. I would go to eBay and see many of the items from their website on sale. I explained to them that people with so many bids were either independently wealthy or they had enormous amounts of free bids that I didn't come close to having OR they were being funded by their purchases and resale of items.
The quality of their products is remarkably good. That is what keeps me coming back to look for stuff. I was able to buy a robot mop for $40 plus bids for our church as we look to use these machines to replace paying people to clean the church's floors. Again it needs to be repeated - their products are remarkable.
Have I ever heard from the higher up people or have they addressed my complaints? Crickets.
I posted a negative review. I stand by the negative review. However, Dealdash did reach out to me and refunded my money. I move to 2 stars due to this. My review is still negative due to the fact that you will lose lots of money. They have preferred bidders. The warning stays the same on the fact that you will lose money. Also be aware that you can lose a bid at the last seconds due to "system errors". Giving bid to the other person. This happens a lot
Tip for consumers:
Dealdash is not for newbies or for those with small amount of money to spend. THUS IS NOT A PENNY AUCTION SITE AS ADVERTISED. The "penny bid" is actually $0.13-$0.22 cents A BID. they don't tell you this. Nor do they mention that you will be charged $70+ on your credit card once you sign up. However, they do issue a refund if you reach out to Dealdash about the charge. But it's a crappy way to get business.
Sorry for the inconvenience here Kim, DealDash operates on a pay to participate model, so bids are required to be purchased in advance to participate in the auctions. Please reach out to us directly if you haven't already and we will be more than happy to assist with a refund, thanks!
Must be careful as there are many "high rollers" on the site that will spend as much as they have to too win.
Many players spend way over the purchase price because they are just entertaining themselves.
Just do not get hooked and be smart.

Hi Paul! Thank you for your review. Bidding in auctions on DealDash can indeed be competitive at times, and it does require strategy and patience. We encourage all users to develop their personal strategy and set a budget for themselves. Our "Buy It Now" option also allows users to get back all the bids they've used in an auction if they choose to purchase the item at its Buy It Now price, ensuring that they don't lose their bids. If you have further inquiries or need assistance, please reach out to us at support@dealdash.com. We're here 24/7 to support you. Thanks again for your feedback!
You can spend hundreds of dollars or even thousands buying points to compete with others for a win. Be cautious!
Hi Jean, thank you for your review! We certainly agree that bidding in the auctions does require careful planning, as it can sometimes get competitive and you might not always win the auction. That's why we have the "Buy It Now" option if you don't win an auction. This feature lets you purchase the item at the standard retail price, and in return, you get all the bids you used on that auction back, plus the item gets shipped to you free of charge! If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@dealdash.com. We're available 24/7 to assist you. Happy bidding and we look forward to hearing from you!
What a scam! This should be illegal. Buy bids for 13 cents to raise the bid 1 cent. Who ever heard of an action where you have to buy bids? There are a handful of winners and a whole bunch of loosers, and deal dash rakes in the cash. It reminds me of the old pyramid scheme. Run away!
Hi Gordon! Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your opinion of DealDash! We do not hide the fact that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and our business model is a rather unique twist on auctions where you pay to bid. However, we understand that this may not be for everyone, so we do have a money-back guarantee for all customers on their first purchase of bids so that they can try us out risk-free. We have been in business since 2009 and we continue to persist precisely because we have an absolute dedication to integrity. We're audited yearly, have done several 3rd party audits of the auction bidding itself, and we're an A accredited business with the BBB. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us directly - we hope to hear from you soon!

I had won the Doting Dews Amos Earrings & received an email from their customer service letting me know. They did offer 3 other options, another pair of earrings; a ring (both by Doting Dews); and a refund along with 721 bids. I chose the first option the Doting Dews Harriet Earrings. They replied within a couple of hours and placed my order that quick. I would like to thank DealDash Customer Service for working on the issue so very fast.
Thank you so much for the 5 star review and your kind understanding in the matter. I'm happy to hear our Happiness team was able to resolve the issue right away and we are here for you 24/7!

Thank you for your review! I'm very sorry to hear of the trouble here! We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. We typically use the Username as a greeting in our emails (if the first and last names are unavailable on the account), but never the password. We deeply value our users' privacy and security and we would never intentionally do anything that would jeopardize this. We would love to look into this further for you! Please feel free to reach out to us directly at support@dealdash.com, we're available 24/7! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
This website is so under regulated. I have no doubt it will be under investigation in the next 12 months.
VERY misleading, very TRICKY and SCAMMY. Be warned, they make it sound easy and you'll find yourself spending hundreds of dollars and getting NOTHING. If you do win anything you'll find it's pretty poor quality.
Tip for consumers:
SCAM. UNTRUTHFUL. UNFAIR. FALSE ADVERTISING!
Thank you for sharing your review with us Michael. I'm sorry to hear of your experience. We've now reached out to you directly and look forward to hearing back from you!
Normally I don't do reviews at all but when I clicked on the deal dash site and filled out a username and created my new account, just to look at their stuff it charged my card 72 dollars! Now I didn't see nothing about a membership fee or anything to that effect of them even charging my card! Thankfully on my bank account I had just under 70 dollars in there so it declined that purchase! So please guys read EVERYTHING or you could be like me and get charged for just trying to look at their inventory!
Tip for consumers:
They should tell people before they create an account that it's going to charge them money before they create it
Hi Jacqueline, sorry for the inconvenience here. DealDash is a pay to play auction website and you can learn more about us here: https://www.dealdash.com/help
I am disappointed to find out the Hand Painted artwork I won showed up in a box from China. Not very rare and probably not worth the $3100 buy it now price tag. Also this is a product on their website that doesn't have reviews? Seems odd. And I cannot find this artwork anywhere else to see if it's worth the money. I would not have spent my money on this if I would have known.
Hi Greg, I'm sorry to hear you did not like your item. All our items from DealDash are shipped directly from our warehouse or our suppliers from within the United States but can be made in countries all around the world. If you are not happy with your auction win, kindly reach out to us so we can assist with either a replacement or refund, thanks!
The TV ads were misleading. I got X for 10 dollars! You are not informed that: a) you have to purchase "bid credits" (which should be added to the cost of the item); and b) the auctions take hours and hours and hours. I spent 6 hours bidding on two items. DealDash embodies the old adage: if it seems too good to be true...
Thank you for your review and we're sorry to hear about your disappointment. We aim to make our model clear to users, so we're truly sorry if you did not find this to be the case! The prices displayed in our ads include the cost of bids. We do not hide that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and the vast majority of our customers are repeat users who come back because they get amazing deals, even with the cost of bids included. :) All of our customers are also entitled to a 100% no-questions-asked refund on their first purchase of bids - giving the service a try is risk-free! Let us know if you have any further questions, we're available 24/7!
The various sheet sets auctioned on Deal Dash are all top quality sheets. The most recent won auction was a gift for our son and daughter in law. They loved it and the shipping was quick.

What a wonderful gift idea! I am so happy to hear your son and daughter in law loved their new sheet set!
Enjoy your upcoming auctions and if you need anything please don't hesitate to reach out:)

Do not use the Buy It Now feature, as they are severely overinflated. There is always a dirty dozen of players lurking in the background that bid on everything in every category and overbid 500+ on even the smallest value items. The playing field is not level or fair. The only way this site would be fair is to reserve the $100 or less items for the beginners. Couldn't win even 100 bids or a gift card without the high stakes bidders taking over. The Same People on DealDash Keep Winning. Study the past winners. There should be more no exchange items and limits on how many items you can exchange. The top 1% of winners win 60% of all auctions, just to convert the item into more bids. If you're bidding against one of these professional auction bidders, you're going to lose.
Tip for consumers:
You will lose money
Hi Debbie, thank you for sharing your experience. We understand that the competitive nature of bidding can sometimes make it challenging, and we aim to provide a fair and equal bidding environment for everyone. We're very sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience in this regard. As well, kindly note that it is the Manufacturer’s Standard Retail Price (MSRP) that is the base for our Buy It Now price. We're here to assist you further for a better experience. You can reach us anytime at support@dealdash.com. We're also always striving to improve, and your feedback and suggestions is valuable in helping us do that. Thank you once again for your feedback.
You will find some users have been members for several years. Those same users must be bots, workers, or something to that effect. Those users will bid on multiple auctions 24 hours per day. So in effect, this means that each of these users is literally spending thousands of dollars daily. I assume the implementation of these bots keeps the paying customers coming. I've spent hundreds and received nothing. Total Scam.
Tip for consumers:
Do not fall for it.

Thank you kindly for your feedback Jason. All users on DealDash are real users such as yourself and employees are strictly forbidden to participate in the DealDash auctions. Please reach out to support@dealdash.com so we can turn your experience around, we look forward to hearing back from you!
Been on dealdash for a little over a year & haven't had too much to complain about until recently when it was clearly obvious that I should have won an auction at a certain price but didn't. As can clearly be seen, 14 seconds ticked off between the times of 04:56:13 & 04:56:27. I don't by their explanation of internet refreshing or whatever. Haven't done a lot on here since that fiasco. Just hoping they are a little more honest in the future.
Hello Dave,
James here from Customer Support.
Thank you for your open and honest review on DealDash.
A difference of more than 10 seconds, although rare, can occur if there has been a short delay in the time-stamp generation within the bidding database. In these cases, our system takes a split second to check and confirm that the auction still had users with BidBuddies booked and that the auction should have continued as normal.
In this particular case (auction ID 7353291), it has been confirmed that there were other users with BidBuddies already booked in the system. We can assure you that nobody has gained any unfair advantage or additional time to place a bid during this slight delay.
Again our apologies for any confusion caused by this. If you have any additional questions, please feel welcome to contact us below. We are available 24/7 and we are always more than happy to help!

So far I have liked every product I have won on Deal Dash. Quality products. Good variety of items, easy checkout. Timely shipping. What's not to like.
Wish they would let us pick our own amount of bids to purchase. Sometimes I don't want 300 bids. Let me decide how many I want to purchase at a time.
Hi Nancy,

You have ones that have such great bidding power. They wait for a newbie to run the bid up to about $5 then the Old deal dash members scramble and take over The newbie lose all their bids. Power in numbers. The only chance way to win is to buy a $#*!load of bids 600+ You pay more than it's worth because you just want to win to recoup your lost bids. This site isn't new user friendly at all. Deal dash is not fair to most. You have to many Bidding bullies. I think I'm just going to delete my account. No real chance
Hi Devon, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. There are many factors that can go towards the auctions such as numbers of bidders on that auction on a particular day, the promotion we are running for that day, the bidding strategy users are using, and the popularity of the item itself. We also offer a money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase, along with a second chance guarantee for your first win on DealDash. Kindly reach out to support@dealdash.com and we will be more than happy to turn your experience around!
You can buy $50 in bids which is say 20 bids you bid 20 times and after every bid someone out bids you so on bid 21 your out of bids down $50 but others keep bidding and since it only goes up 1 cent if no one bids after the time limit say after bid 22 it sells for 22 cents alot of people loose alot of money that's how these "deals" are paid for its a legal twist of words for people who take the easy way out instead of trying to run a actual business. Not founded in the USA enough said!

Hi Jon, thank you for your comment. We do not hide the fact that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and our business model is not based on tricking customers into purchasing something they don't understand, rather it is a unique twist on auctions where you pay to bid. That said, even when including the cost of bids and the final price paid, the vast majority of auctions are bought for less than retail price. We have thousands of extremely loyal customers who have been with us for years, have scored countless incredible deals, and LOVE the intense, strategic, pay-to-bid auction model that we offer. However, we understand that DealDash may not be for everyone, so we offer a 100% money-back guarantee on your first purchase of bids, no questions asked, so trying us out is risk-free. If there is anything we can do for you, please reach out to our amazing customer support team. Have an amazing day!
First, I did not really trust the process and I did not understand how people win on this app. From day to day, my love for this app grows. Currently, I see it as a hobby and I won many prices!

Happy Bidding!
Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi there! Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with DealDash. We've been in business since 2009 and we're proud to say that our success is due to our unwavering commitment to integrity. We undergo yearly audits, third-party audits of our auction bidding process, and have an A rating with the BBB. We do not hide that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and the vast majority of our customers are repeat users who come back because they get amazing deals, even with the cost of bids included. We always aim to offer high-quality items from amazing brands and can guarantee that no knock-offs are being sold on your platform ever. All of our customers are also entitled to a 100% no-questions-asked refund on their first purchase of bids, so you can try our service risk-free. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know and we would love to assist further! We're available 24/7 and we'd really appreciate the opportunity to turn this experience around for you. Looking forward to hearing back from you!
