This is a shady website. The glassses they send you are not the ones you prushase or see on their website. I paid a lot of money for nice black frames by Police, and received plastic glasses grey and orange befitting an 8 year-old. Never again!

They pretend to be an indian website, actually located in Hongkong, after purchase you get calls and messages to pay extra sometimes as much as 50% extra to get item delivered

9 days after placing an order I called for a status update and, after being given the runaround for over 2 hours and disconnected multiple times, they admitted that within 24 hours of my order being placed their supplier informed them that the frames I had selected were out of stock with no estimated availability date but they had not notified me and their website continued to falsely state my order would be delivered on time. They then refused to provide any compensation and I am still waiting to receive a refund for the canceled order.

First, they don't honor the "price match", they give you a long drawn out bible of company politics and then deny it. Second, watch out for "sourcing", that is double speak for find the cheapest price on the planet to make even more money from people trying to save a few pennies. Third, they use the absolute worst "carrier" on the planet (227th worldwide) Aramex, you won't believe some of the reviews. They send me a "tracking" number, carrier says not delivered after 4 days. And finally "customer service" lies about where they are located, she tells me Hong Kong when actually they are in Canada. Listen, LISTEN, every time you try to save a penny you spend a dollar. I was warned, and now so are you.

Their logistic team was never able to tell where the product was, or give a reasonable ETA.
I kept receiving preposterous emails from CS providing completely unprofessional answers, with clearly the sole intention to buy some time. They use an obviously dilatory strategy of switching people from the CS who's dealing with your case in order to confuse you.
Frankly, I felt this website could actually be a scam. I would discourage anyone buying products from them.

If your read to get ripped off then by all means… they do not honor price match guarantee, they will not honor their own coupon codes. They will be dealing with BBB tired of the run around! Their price 223 designer optics 133. Price match it!

The returns policy of this company states that you will get a 100% refund. They do not in fact refund any shipping costs. In addition, the glasses I bought were imported from Hong Kong so the return cost was very high. Be warned, you will not get all of your money back and customer services provide evasive responses to questions.

Ordered a replacement pair of Smith sunglasses for a pair that I had scratch Ed from an other retailer. Product that came was of inferior quality and the lenses started to peel within one week. Mind you I had the same pair purchased from Backcountry.com for two years with no issues from normal wear.
Return process has been a nightmare, multiple people email you leaving you in a run around. Long story short they won't give you a shipping label for a faulty product. Fine. But when you finally return the product, they will try to put through an exchange.
Not worth the money saved. Don't give businesses like this your time.
I am a real and very satisfied customer. Like many I was nervous about ordering something as important as perscription glasses but i have to say i am SUPER HAPPY AND IMPRESSED with Smartbuyglasses.com. From start to finish they were responsive, informed and totally LEGIT! I ordered Tom Ford frams with progressive, transition lenses. Their web site was clear and direct, prices were amazing and super low. I was able to track my order throughout the process, the cumster care team responded to all my questions quickly and clearly. When the glasses arrived i took them first to the Tom Ford store here in NYC who confirmed the frames were REAL and then to my eye doctor who used his equipment to verify the scripts were accurate. Even my doctor was IMPRESSED. I got large frame Fausto's and the scripts were DEAD ON ACCURATE which I am told for largers lenses is difficult. They plan to reccomend SmartBuyGlasses.com to their patients now and I reccomend them too to one and all!

I placed my order on 2/5/21 for a frame that was a "fast ship" 1 day plus 3-5 more business days to install my lenses. I never received any follow up emails that I had even placed an order with them after payment.On 2/15/21 I emailed customer service inquiring about my order and was told 3-5 more days at that point. Today on 2/22/21 I emailed again and the customer service representative asked me to confirm my PD which Was already provided with my script So basically they are just buying more time and haven't even been started yet! I'm starting to think this company isn't legitimate and I'm being scammed. I just want my money back and it looks like I'll have to contact my credit card company for a charge back to get it because I already told customer service if they couldn't tell when they would ship to just refund the money and cancel my order but she didn't.

You purchase a $400 dollar pair off glasses. One Len doesn't fit right they want pictures and stuff just to say they don't see it. How could they it's don't on their face, this action causes a person to have to purchase another pair of glasses from a different company that gives better service.,,,

The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Literally. Wrong product received, somehow two different lens types in the same order. Was told, first to send photos as they didn't believe me, photos sent, advised someone would come back to me in 72 hours, which they didn't, was then told another 72 hours. Then they said I could either pay to send the lenses sent in error back from Dubai to Singapore registered post: then they would wait to receive them, and then dispatch new lenses, so something which they told me would take two days has taken three weeks so far and will likely take another two weeks including my having to pay to return the product sent in their error. So I'm still using my old lenses. Or they said they would give me 20% off a completely new order so I would have paid 180% of the original cost plus all the inconvenience. The worst customer service I have ever experienced by far, do yourself a favour and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I ordered prescription eyeglasses from SmartBuyGlasses.com thinking I was saving money. However, you get what you pay for. I've had multiple issues during the order/return process. First, the item that was "in stock" took over 35 days to arrive. Second, the glasses arrived with a loose hinge, scratches on the frame, and glue spots left around the frame. Finally, when I tried to return the items, they don't give clear return instructions with customer service providing a different address that what you get when you enter the RMA# at USPS. So, it feels like even if you have an issue, they will make it very difficult to return/fix the problem. Stay away!

Very disappointed with the support that they provide and I wish that their return system was more smooth.
They did not send me the Stella McCartney accessories that was included in the listing (spectacle case, dust bag etc.) which makes me wonder if the spectacles are fake.
Unfortunately I did not buy via paypal so it seems like I don't have any security or backup now when the support isn't answering. 160 dollars for a pair of glasses that looked very different from the picture in the listing. Wow what a great purchase. Not.
One should only buy from smartbuyglasses if they're 100% sure of what they'll get and for the love of god! MAKE THE PAYMENT THROUGH PAYPAL!

Buyer be aware! Ordered 2 pairs of glasses a month ago. First, they never contacted me about my script which apparently they had questions about. I contact customer service when I realized my order was still "in progress". When I called they said the glasses were not being made because there were questions about my script. That was the first issue. Finally one pair of glasses shipped. I was not told these glasses were made and shipped from Hong Kong actually I was told I would receive my glasses within 14 days. NOPE! I've asked this company to refund my money as I haven't received my prescription glasses and they said they can't refund because they are in transit. A MONTH LATER! Next 2 weeks after my order of two pairs of glasses only pair finally shipped. I had to call back to ask about the 2nd pair of glasses that still hadn't shipped. 2 weeks in the lab made an error and the glasses were never made! Needless to say I was able to cancel those glasses and was refunded. HOWEVER because I was refunded I lost all the discounts offered when ordering two pairs of glasses and ended up paying full price for one pair of glasses that I never received! Unbelievable! Horrible! Meanwhile, I did order from EYEBUYDIRECT and they were amazing! Received my glasses within the agreed upon time at an amazing price!

Ordered my glasses over a month ago. They're made in China, not to my knowledge. The glasses were shipped in 7 days, but never made it to me. Somewhere in Hong Kong. After many emails, excuses, apologies, I finally asked for a refund. Very dissatisfied and will never order from them again.

Eyes are precious and irreplaceable, so it is highly recommended to have an eye test at least every 2 years to be sure of your own prescription.
