I wrote a review on another site how disappointed I was and then they worked with me to resolve it and asked if I would revise my rating, I should have after they sent the replacement lenses... I am so beyond frustrated. They are not my prescription they are like pop bottle lenses and I wear a little stronger than a reader, no serious issues with my eye sight, only I cannot see well at my age close up any more. Reading... I am sure their sunglasses that don't require a prescription would be fine, but beyond that they are not professionals, this is a off shore company with no real credentials. My loss I cannot use the frame or lense. Buyer beware people do your do diligence and read reviews before supporting these kind of so called business. Absolutely horrible service and website.
It all started with the fact that I ordered (order # US07*********GM from them in November - 6 units of glasses (premium brands: Boss, Itallian independent, Tommy Hilfiger) as a gift for myself and my family, different glasses. And that was my big mistake, and the story of suffering began...
The order came in different batches, and with a delay of 9 days I received only two glasses. I understand that they use different types of delivery and probably some of them are not very reliable. Then I had a terrible long story with correspondence with the support service for several weeks. Which ended in nothing, they did not find where my 4 units of glasses were. And no one offered compensation or other help. I literally begged them to look into my case more closely. But there were only formal replies. I was very tired of analyzing this situation, I got angry and realized how shameless and terrible the service was. I advise everyone who encounters them - to be very careful, and very cautious! And due to their terrible communication - I think I'll check what I received - glasses (Tommy Hilfiger) for originality. Since I have doubts about the service and I think the glasses they send are possibly counterfeit, since what I received has already started to creak and the paint is peeling off! And what happened in the end - they took money from me for expensive premium glasses, I received 2 units, I didn't receive the 4th unit. I sent a request to the bank to return my money - due to fraudulent actions, and I'm trying to sue them in a small court. The quality of what I received is terrible, it is not clear how to resolve the issue with the guarantee if they respond with formal replies. BE VERY CAREFUL! Absolutely horrible website.
They don't provide a phone number on their website, and everything suggests they operate within the USA, which is misleading. They only respond to emails, offering no other convenient way to communicate.
The website claims they offer easy returns, but in reality, it costs $14.99 USD to return an item from the USA, which is an additional expense on top of your purchase. After carefully reviewing the fine print, it appears they will also deduct more from your refund to cover the original shipping cost from Hong Kong to the USA.
What's even more frustrating is that during selection and checkout, there's no clear indication that this is an international shipment and that returns aren't free. It's easy to assume returns would be straightforward, only to discover the truth later.
NEVER AGAIN! Stay far away from this company.

After 1 month waiting I JUST WENT TO MY LOCAL RAY BAN SHOP AND BOUGT MYSLEF NEW GLASSES! Over counter, with cash. Took 15 minutes all together.
1. Their team contacted me and confirmed that my package is still in HK even though they confirmed 8 days ago that it has been shipped.
2. By this stage it's over a month to get a product that "is in stock" "is ready to ship" "shipping within 24h"
3. They just sent me email this morning and confirmed that they contacted their team but did't get any updates.

After posting about my order situation a CS manager reached out to me.
1. I was still unable to get confirmation about their stock, even when talking with management.
2. I was informed that my product is in the distribution centre
3. Was informed that because payed for express shipment - 24h - my order will be sent right away.
4. received information that my order is shipped and received a tracking number
5. Above happened a week ago - checked the tracking after ONE WEEK and my order is till in hong Kong
6. WHAT A JOKE!
So this is what I have learned so far
1. When the system says that the product is in stock and ready to ship most likely it is not.
2. They will charge you for express 24h delivery for the product that it's not in stock and might take couple of weeks to arrive (mine not yet arrived)
3. If you contact their Customer Service directly to check it the product is in stock - they will reply YES it's ready to ship - even though upon my further conversation with their representative it was confirmed that they need up to 48 hours to actually check and confirm with their own team about the stock.
4. The delivery is delayed endlessly and for what it looks like 24h experience I'm now close to 1 month of back and forward with their customer service team.
5. Their Customer Service is unable to track their own orders and supply relevant information.
6. Their system informed me about 24h delivery, their email about 72 hours, their system again later about 10 days and their Customer service is unable to supply any relevant information.
7. Worst online shopping service i have experienced so far - even though for what it looks like I have to wait 2 more weeks for the product to arrive.
8. Upon just checking they gave me discount for my inconvenience from $151 to $148.89...;)
9. My order number - US*******922G and ID*******822G (cancelled due to delay) - I'll keep posting about my experience with SmartBuyGlasses on every available forum until my order arrives.
I have been getting the run around and "5% discounts" for the past month due to delays. I placed the order on the 14th. (First they requested that I send a copy of my passport/ID or pay with PayPal because I was sending the order to an alt address... um, no! But when I called to complain about the request, they simply let me confirm the info and it was processed as requested.)
I got my first update on the 23rd stating "stock confirmed"and the order would be shipped to me within the next 8-14 days. Status update on the 29th - "Delayed" and can take 1-2 wks to arrive from the distribution center and an additional 7-10 days for processing the prescription. (But it was "confirmed" in stock, I know). Update on the 5th -"Delayed" and requires another 5-9 working days.
On the 9th, I called and they said I can continue to wait but it can take another 1-4 weeks because the distributor is "manufacturing" the glasses.
So not only are they advertising items they have no access to, they LIED confirming the stock, and in the world of overnight shipping are claiming they will not have the frames in their possession for up to another 4 wks? I asked the rep what exactly "stock confirmed" means, to which she said that means the frames are still being manufactured, but does not guarantee availability. I said so you need to stop asking the supplier if the frames are being made, because the better question is 'are the frames available!' Because if they're available then obviously they are still being produced and if the answer is no they are unavailable, then you could stop lying to customers by claiming the "stock is confirmed" when they truly are not, and if they are indeed out of production then they shouldn't even be seen on the site.
I decided to purchase online to save almost $200 on a pair I saw locally in a frame shop. But honestly, after the delays and misinformation, I think I'll pay for the convenience of a timely transaction. Shop at your own risk, as I will not again.
*I give two stars for the fact that the online chats are quick and responsive and that they have a call center available. These components make me feel less that this operation is a scam, but I also can't understand why they can't seem to get it right in the orders fulfillment area. Again, I do not suggest dealing with this company and will not take this risk again.
