I will not by any of their products again from anyone. Their toner cartridge prints, but it makes my printer go click-click-click, indicating a potential spooling gear issue. I ordered a product online from LD products. Advertising indicated that if orders were made by 4 PM PST they would be shipped the same day. Since the item had been out of stock many places I followed the online order with a phone call. I was reassured that the item was in stock. Since 3 days later the order was showing pending online, I called again. I was informed that the item was out of stock and unknown when it would be back in stock. I believe this was false advertising and very poor service as I was never notified of the out of stock status.

I was referred to LD Products several years ago - maybe 4+ years ago and we have a stack of their SUPER LONG-LASTING XL cartridges. Our first purchase was just for one-each black and color 60XLs and they lasted and lasted even though we were printing our Christmas letters and then an adoption announcement. We were sooooo happy that we ordered a group buy = 3 black and 2 color cartridges to save money and probably never have to buy again. Both the black and color cartridges that were installed in late 2019 were still printing perfectly until a few days ago when the color gave out. We broke open one of the color cartridges we purchased back in 2018 and got an error message. I called the company and got "Frank" who very politely and professionally ran me through a series of fixes with our HP 4280 and nothing fixed the issue. I figured that because we bought the cartridges so long ago I was "SOL" but Frank verified our order and some other info and two - not one - TWO replacement cartridges are on their way! WHAT AN AWESOME COMPANY!

When you experience garbage products or services you dont have to write much. I feel their products are trash and the service is equally lousy. Expect cut rate merchandise and services, took over a week to get my order and it wasnt event properly packaged. I am expecting this to be a waste o my money and time so pay a bit more and get better products and service. LD sucks.

I purchased some HP ink cartridges two years ago. I recently installed the last two and found that they didn't work due to a firmware update from HP. I called LPD, and they replaced them at no charge despite the age of the order. Everything was incredibly easy and the representative was very helpful.

Ordered a set of cartridges for my Brother HL-3180CDW printer. They were shipped fast, and work great.
One thing I had to do, but this is a Brother "feature" is to reset the page counter for the toner. Otherwise, the printer will prematurely start warning you the cartridge is almost empty, when it's not.

I ordered a set of ink tanks (12) for my printer. 2 days later they sent an email saying they were out of stock so my order would be cancelled. Any OTHER ITEMS on my order would still be shipped. I only ordered 1 item - a SET of ink tanks.
So I ordered a set from another company and didn't think anymore about it. Then about a week later a box was dropped on my porch with 10 of the 12 ink tanks. Shortly AFTER the delivery I got an email saying my order had been shipped and was on the way. This is the most disturbing part - who sends the shipping information with tracking AFTER delivery?
I called them the next day to find out how to return them. They said they would have to look into it and get back to me. 1 week later after numerous calls they said I could return them at MY EXPENSE ($70).
If you buy a set of anything from someone and they don't have some parts of the set, do you expect them to send the parts they do have and leave you to figure out how to fill out the set (dishes, a suit, paint set, etc...)?
I am not sure what is going on with this company, but it does not appear to be completely above board.
UPDATE 8/31/2020: As Patrick from LD Products said in his response, the company did indeed refund my shipping cost after I filed a complaint with the BBB and California Attorney General. So I am changing from 1 star to 2 stars. I don't understand why they could not do the right thing at the start, but ultimately I am back where I started. Except for a few more grey hairs.

Ordered a 4-pack of high quality ink for my husband's office printer. So far, so good. We paid $70 for a 4 pack, with HP we usually pay around $400, what a savings! If they last, will be a repeat customer and will also let business associates know as well.

It was a complete dud! The copies are barely legible. When I called to request a refund or replacement I was told they would not honor my purchase because it was made in April. I thought it was going to be a good experience, since I received a package in a timely manner. But it turns out that part of the order isn't in there. Ok. That's fine. Mistakes are made. I contact customer service and it turns out that (unbeknownst to me) it was split into two packages. Ok. No big deal. She provides the tracking number and it turns out the missing item hasn't even been processed. It's been SEVEN DAYS. So I ask (nicely) to cancel the order. Says it's too late. So I ask for a refund, since I needed this product in a reasonable time. Says I'll have to return the order once I get it. What a hassle. It was a $20 item. This is what I get for trying to buy the product from a non-big name stores (Amazon, Walmart, etc.). I don't care about the $20, btw. I care about the hassle and the rejection of cancelling or refunding the order so compensate for being inconvenienced. Clean up your customer service approach, LD.

Two cartridges exploded upon opening... six other cartridges didn't work in my HP... my printer simply would not operate. When I complained about the exploding black ink cartridges... a refund for the most expensive cartridges were offered... at a fraction of what was charged. NEVER buying this product or from LD again. I bought a whole set of LD Ink Cartridges 952XL, black, yellow, blue and magenta for HP Office jet 8700. I bought one cartridge here in Amazon and the other 3 in Walmart. I paid almost 80 dollars in total (an HP original cartridge pack, not XL is 100$). When I contacted LD, they only offered to send me a replacement for the cartridge I bought in Amazon. They told me that "they operate as a supplier for Walmart", whatever that means, so they are not responsible for those cartridges. So, I am stuck with four cartridges that do not work and wasted 80$. Anyways, I do not want a replacement product, since none of the four I bought work. From now on, I am only buying original HP products not to waste my time and money any more.

Bought HP ink cartridges and my office jet pro didn't recognize the color cartridges. Customer service replaced, no problem. 2nd set same problem. I ask for a refund and the request was honored but credit was given in store credit. Not real happy with that. This is my personal printer and it very unlikely that I need office supplies for home use. 3 stars because courteous and prompt customer representative.

Absolutely terrible! Ordered multi purpose paper and was sent card stock. They refused to pay for me to return it and was simply given an address. A lame excuse for customer service. And then the 'new' ink cartridge was shown as half full by my printer immediately after installing. THESE FOLKS ARE TERRIBLE! AVOID THEM!

I have been buying their ink since January 2007 (it is now Sept 2019). Shipments are always quick and accurate. The ink performs perfectly. I have had three Canon printers since I started using them. The only time I emailed they responded the same day. However, unless you have a sale coupon, the ink is always less money buying from them via Ebay. I have told others about LDproducts and all of their orders have been perfect. One of them is a business and uses a lot of ink. People tend to complain online when things are bad, but not when their experience is good. I suspect that their are many more 5 star customers who do not post their experience on the web.

I too have been a long term customer (about 10yrs) and have decided to find another option. I have a new printer (1 yr) and EVERY SINGLE TONER cartridge they have sent me is bad. It is quite an investment, even at a discount to buy 5 cartridges (I have a color printer so it has to have 5 in at all times) only to find that it spews toner all over my copies as well as black streaks. Several months ago I spent quit a bit of time on the phone with them and I knew they kind of doubted me because the 2nd girl gave me a hard time about getting the replacements, but they finally sent me all 5 new ones. I put them in and at first it was fine, but now the problems are all back. Both the people at LP as well as the Canon help people acknowledged that this is a toner problem but now I am in a position to have to call and grovel for new ones (which they are unlikely to provide and I don't want to go through all that again and be made to feel like a petty theif) so I'll just have tot go elsewhere and buy 5 new cartridges. Keep in mind that NONE of mine are anywhere near empty and I rarely use the color option so I am totally wasting my money. I've come to the conclusion that this just isn't worth the aggravation and any "savings" is now cancelled out by having to buy all new cartridges. I am now an EX-customer because their products are just not reliable.
