We made a booking through hoteling.com, in March 2016, for a holiday in Jan 2017. At first we found it unusual that they withdrew the money immediately. Not thinking much of it, last night we decided to extend our holiday stay. So, when we rang the hotel, as you would of guessed. NO BOOKING DONE AND MONEY GONE! To say I'm angry is an understatement. My family are very disappointed, due to the fact our whole holiday(like other people on this review site) has been destroyed. Destroyed, because for my wife and I to save up that amount of money, will take us a long time. In other words, not in the foreseeable future. Frustrated, angry and sad for my loved ones that I was to take away. My only hope is that these thieves are made to account, for all the heartache they have caused to not only our family, but all the families here. Trying to see the light!
I have booked and paid for hotel booking 3 nights at Hongkong for new year count down. I received all booking confirmation and brought it together for check in but i was being informed that no booking for me. Hotel staff help me contacted GTA (another travel agency where hoteling dealing with) told me that my booking has been cancelled in July. GTA refused to pay responsible to this case. I was forced to re-book the hotel on the spot which cost me double than the amount i booked previously. I am still finding way to get my refund! Please share if anyone manage to get refund. Thanks!
I booked a hotel room with Hoteling.com (via Trivago) because they claimed to have the lowest price. I found a better price from a competing company and cancelled my order. I received a cancellation confirmation from Hoteling.com however after a couple weeks, I was never refunded my money. When going to their website (Hoteling gets redirected to LowCostHolidays) I see that they are out of business. Thank goodness I was fortunate to have booked elsewhere since others are reporting that they did not actually book the rooms for them, but instead took their money.
Shame on Hoteling/LowCostHolidays for taking people's money, and Trivago for not monitoring and doing enough research on them.
Extremely bad company. I booked and paid in full several months ago for a 5 days accommodation in Cuba. The company obviously did not give this money to the hotel and insurance said they won't pay as the company went into receivership!
A friend we went on vacation with lost 900$ CAD when she booked with this website. Went to the hotel to check in and they discovered that nothing went through despite paying in full. Had to repay the whole $900. This scam almost ruined the whole trip! All their money went poof: no refund, no information, the money is just gone!

We paid months ago for accommodation in Koh Samui, paid upfront but the money wasn't passed on. They're now in liquidation. They would have known they were in trouble while still accepting money from innocent hardworking people.

I booked through them only to find out that they quoted me a lower number regarding resort fees. When checking out of my hotel, I discovered that the fees were much higher than I had on my hoteling.com confirmation printout. Hoteling.com wouldn't make good on their mistake. I had to involve my credit card company in this dispute, only to hear back that hoteling.com said this mistake was my fault... I should have researched resort fees in another state before I booked through them. Uh, I'm sorry, HOTELing.com, I thought your name sort of implied that you're in the business of knowing hotels. I'm not. That's why I came to you to book. My big mistake.
Made reservation through Hoteling.com (found the site on Trivago), and was sent a voucher for the set date. When arrived at the Hotel, they would not honor the voucher from Hoteling.com, and if I did want the room that was reserved I would need to pay full price.
No luck recieving refund from Hoteling.com
Booked accommodation for Port Douglas for our 10th wedding anniversary. We turned up at Port Douglas last weekend to find hoteling.com had cancelled our accommodation and scammed us.We had to pay for more accommodation so were out of pocket another $1200. I think Trivago has something to answer for as I went on this trusted site that directed me to these low lifes that has resulted in us being out of pocket.
My girlfriend and I decided to go to Florida. When we got to our hotel to check-in, the clerk informed us that the room has been cancelled. In shock, I knew we got scammed because I never got a refund or any money back. I had to pay twice for our hotel and it was total bull$#*!. We did not save up for that extra $500. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Shame on you Hoteling for scamming people. So for those people wanting to travel, you're better off finding the actual hotel website for secure booking.
Made booking thry hoteling website in April paying almost US $ 2650 for 4 nights stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore from today 28th Dec to 1st Jan 2017. When the couple arrive at hotel with the voucher- they say there is no such reservation at all and nothing can be done. Is there any way to obtain refund for payment made where no services is offered.
Just got back May 1st and had a fantastic trip at Now Sapphire in Riviera Maya. Checking in was smooth without issues. Talking to other guests my wife & I definitely got the best deal. No complaints about hoteling.com.
I use the wholesale sites a lot then generally book direct if they'll price match so having booked through Hoteling shows they were cheaper and easy to use. Information was concise and correct. Cannot fault
Easy to reach from airport. Orange waterbus stop only 5 mins away. Staff very helpful and friendly could not do any more. Whole hotel lovely and clean. Room really nice. Breakfast good selection. Location is a bit on the outskirts so as described but you get to see parts of Venice you might not otherwise get to. Would stay again and would recommend

I reserved two rooms in Las Vegas through Trivago.com. They placed me to hoteling.com as their booking agent. I paid and booked the rooms and I can't get any customer service to add my cousin's name to the hotel room so she can check in earlier that day. I will arrive late by airplane, so I don't want her locked out of the hotel room. Since this is a third party reservation, the hotel won't help me. I have emailed them since last week, nobody answers. Their phone number didn't work and it's in Spain. I would have never used a foreign company for my American trip.

We accidentally booked the wrong nights in London. Although I was a bit put off by having to send an email to correct it, they responded back and gave a phone number to call. There is usually a $25.00 change fee, but they waived it even though it was our mistake. They were courteous and helpful. I have not traveled yet, but so far I'm happy with the customer service.

Booking our accommodation was easy and rightfully priced using hoteling. The hotel is dated in terms of decor, but still elegant and charming. Most importantly, it was very clean, no smells, no mold or broken tiles, and very friendly and courteous personnel... great location that allows for short walks to everything we wanted to do and to subways. I think the hotel was what I needed and at the right price.

We booked a vacation for December and saved a ton with this website! I read reviews before booking and was skeptical, but all was good! After hitting pay we did get an error bc our cars put it on hold, but once we accepted it went through. We waited a day then called the resort direct, they had our reservations and all was good! Will definitely use the site again

We stayed 8 nights and not one complaint. Old stately hotel, very clean, beds are very comfortable, and well located to Metro system.
The breakfast buffet is uninspiring for the $ but convenient. Excellent service staff. Very responsive and a pleasure the whole stay.

Answer: Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
