The internet is worthless. Speed test shows only a 10! Terrible! We have to use our phone hotspots!
Price for the room is double the cost of what it should be for the lack of quality etc!
Lighting in the room is bad or non-existent.
Kitchenette has zero lighting! Wow!
Bathroom is very dim and needs more lighting!
Room is dated for the 1980's
Front desk says we should up-grade our internet for an additional cost! Totally unacceptable!
Front Desk is totally useless on all issues!
No exhaust fan in bathroom. Ridiculous!
Cigarette smoke from the adjacent room infiltrates into our bathroom.
Owners should consider closing this place. Yes its that bad!
We could not book an alternative because it's a Holiday Week. We are trapped!
The most terrible room I have ever booked in 50 years! I would never recommend staying here!
NO HOT WATER because of others on this top floor probably taking shower! Wow! Stupid!
I actually got con in getting the hotel and resort packet and ever since then it has been a nightmare, not only they did not tell you everything up front with anything just adding fees, ( I have not even used my point yet) but when you call the call center is worse no help really a bunch of running around for something that could be so simple, they don't return your phone call or emails. I could go on and on abut this, I personally don't see it worth it and if it didn't mess up my credit I would love to walk away and spend my money on a Air B&B. They sell you a easy dream of easy way to have a vacation.
My husband had a recent serious surgery. We accidentally left a smaller bag of medical supplies and essential medication. I was sent to a second party in able to have my items returned. The price to get it back in a decent time was almost $80-$60 to get my medical supplies returned. Essential medical supplies in order to keep my husband from complications. Light and easy enough to toss in a postal shipping bag. I did not have the extra money to spend. My husband has been out of work. This is a terrible hardship. I am a honors member and will never stay at any Hilton Hotel. Told front desk at Hampton Inn, Irving Texas the same. No apology and not one finger lifted to retain a customer. Nothing. Beware. Don't leave on thing you need behind.
Stayed at a Hilton property for almost a week and there was constant loud noise throughout the hotel 24/7. Employees could care less. The only thing most businesses are looking for nowadays is money. Who cares about your experience there. I will never stay at another Hilton. I could see that they have been trying to make some effort to upgrade the hotel some but it doesn't remedy hearing every annoying noise in the hotel. The hotel claims I'm lying about it. Spend a day and night in one of the rooms and see for yourself calling me a liar. Oh. You must wear your hearing aid because if you don't you won't hear anything and I can assure you I do not wear hearing aids. Don't need them. I can hear all the beating, banging, and slamming just fine.
Systemic rudeness at the front desk. Employees impersonating management. Management didn't care. When the customer care people were contacted they were even ruder. I can't believe how low Hilton brands has sunk.
I made a reservation on hilton.com for the 11th of the month and received a confirmation for the 12th. Customer service stated they would have to charge me $25 to change it. He also explained top of the $25 it was also $22 more for the 11th. The agent then told me if I booked 2 nights I could avoid the fee. I only need the room for one night. Why would I pay for two? I do not know what kind of scam booking is running, but I travel to visit family frequently and I will never stay at this or any other Hilton again.
Couldn't make my reservations because of a blizzard in Chicago. So I cancelled my reservation since my flight was cancelled. Called them to ask about a refund and they said no. That I didn't cancel before the cut off time.
No $#*!s given that it was totally out of my control. Shame on them for not considering weather and cancelled flights for their customers. I'm out over $500…
I had made a reservation for the Hampton by Hilton St Charles Ave in New Orleans LA to stay one night and to leave our vehicle at the property while we were on a cruise. When making the reservation I was told that the parking would be $10 a night. I called a few days before the trip to confirm and to ask about a shuttle and was told that parking was $20 a day. When I told them that is not what I was told and the only reason I booked with them was because they assured me parking was $10 a day. They simply said I was misinformed and the person was going off past information and they would not honor it. They did refund my money. I am not willing to support a company that does not stand behind their word, or try to make it right.
For years now I have been using Hilton for just about everything related to my stays. I have been traveling domestically AND internationally, and it doesn't matter. These hotels are reliable, clean and packed with perks. They are friendly, dedicated, and go above and beyond. Iv'e never felt taken advantage of or swindled like some "perks" programs, and I truly believe that this is THE website for new travelers. You can help yourself or a loved one book a memorable trip that makes everyone feel safe, seen, and satisfied! I keep coming back, and probably always will.

We are Hilton Honor members. We stayed in Fallsview Room 1861 for a mini getaway without kids. We walked in the bathroom, there was a wet towel in the sink and no soap or toiletries. We called and all they did was take the wet towel. Also, there was no hair dryer. We stay in Hiltons all over North America. This was very disappointing and telling them was useless. Please read before you go. We will not be returning.
Visited Hilton at 2 Meadowlands Plaza, East Rutherford, NJ.They wouldn't let us check in until 4:45 even though check in was at 4. We were there at 3:55 and they told us to return at 4! Our rooms weren't available. Finally at 4:45 we got a room. There were people in it already, Finally got a room and it was 79 degrees all night. Hotel knew of the issue and nothing was done. We will never stay at Hilton again. The desk staff was indifferent and seemed to care less about our issues. When I called Hilton to complain they said because I booked at reservation desk.com there was nothing they could do. I thought I booked at Hiltons reservation desk.
Had occasion to spend one night at the Hilton Buenos Aries at the termination of an Antarctic Cruise. Travel agent who booked the cruise from Alberta, Canada, was unfamiliar with hotels in Buenos Aries, so thought Hilton should be a safe bet. Wrong!
Fist of all, the Hilton probably was among the premier hotels there at one time but it has become very dated. Secondly, its like diving into a pool of leaches. They purport to provide all sorts of services but unless you have your wallet out, you get nothing! No free Wi-fi, no free internet, ridiculous prices for food and drinks, a mediocre room for US$400 a night. And they recommended a local guide who ripped us off for $100. Probably get treated better at a hostel.
I had booked a quick trip to go see my dinette in Hemet California. My job didn't allow me to go that weekend that I booked so I called and asked if I could bump it for the following week and I was told I could not so I requested a cancellation and a refund they would not do that for me, but yet at the same time they would not but my reservation For a week later. Their excuse was while you booked it through a third-party, which was through my job. That's ridiculous. They pass the buck but yet keep my money and won't even try to help me change my date for a week later that is big company, greed, thank you Hilton I will never use you again and I will use the power of 10 to let everybody know how crappy of a company you are.
I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Eatontown NJ. I have stayed at this property many times over the past 30 years. It was previously owned by Starwood Suites. I'm sorry to report that the property has deteriorated significantly. The suite I stayed in has the same worn furniture that has been here for years. The bathroom is small and is located in the bedroom so one cannot access it without going through the BR. The caulk in the tub/ shower is coming out as well as in the bathroom trim. Rust spots are evident as well around the tub. Breakfast was inedible. Pancakes were cold and hard. Some sort of black piece (? Bacon) were presented but not tried. Plastic utensils and disposable plates were provided. All in all a very unsatisfactory environment. The bed was comfortable and the staff pleasant. Unfortunately I wouldn't consider staying here again.
The Hilton.com site and app are down A LOT. Something is wrong with Hilton's technology and I'm getting ready to bail on them and move over to another Hotel chain because of it. Not good business. There's been many times I've tried to login to my reservations and I'm not able to because their app or website is not functioning. Brutal to say the least in September of 2017. Inexcusable. I've given them about $40,000. Of my business the past few years and their technology is pushing me away.
Booked extra Hilton's to reach Diamond level, and the return...poor. Upgrades, maybe, has to ask for it. Executive levels floors, a key perk, no more in most properties. Free breakfast, nada, a credit on your bill is is about 1/2 of the cost of a normal hotel breakfast. But...I did get a free bottle of water!
-Hosekeeping does not show up unless you request. Did not have my room cleaned because of this policy.
-Noise coming from pool area never stops, I got a room on 4th floor could not sleep until 2:30 AM. There is no limit how late people are in pool area.
-Receptionists with attitudes.
-No water in the room. Have to purchase from a vending machine. A 4-star hotel cannot afford a 10 cents bottle of water?
Will not be coming here again.
I had made a mistake on my reservation and when tried to correct it I ran into their robots but received no remedy. I always use to book with thembut they were ok to lose me as a customer for one mistake out of approx 100. I even send an email to the CEO and still no reply. That shows you much they care.
Good
They are excellent at correcting mistakes.
In areas which are notorious tourist traps (Vegas, Orlando) they offer better value.
The bad: Like Sheraton there is too much variation in quality and not enough quality control over the franchises (which is most Hiltons).
They are over-the-top in extra charges.
In very hot areas they do not keep the room temperature within normal levels until you check in. This could take 6 hours or more to rectify itself.
I booked and paid for a room 5 weeks in advance. Received the confirmation of the reservation. So, a day before my trip they send me an email saying the room is not available. WHAT?! I call and they tell me a customer extended their stay and the room is not available for me. WHAT?! Agent tell me "Hilton guidelines specify if a client wants to extend their stay, they have priority". WHAT?! But I paid for the room 5 weeks ago! "Sorry sir those are our guidelines" So, apparently, the service provided Hampton Inn by Hilton to customers is like the wind, and the wind blows!
Answer: Yes in Italy compare to the USA it's much worth. And the stuff is always RUDE and unfriendly
