Too good. Service was excellent and also the rooms etc. We stayed near Time square and it was a pleasant stay at the Hilton. I would recommend that to anyone who wants to spend a little but get a lot out of it
I booked and paid for a room 5 weeks in advance. Received the confirmation of the reservation. So, a day before my trip they send me an email saying the room is not available. WHAT?! I call and they tell me a customer extended their stay and the room is not available for me. WHAT?! Agent tell me "Hilton guidelines specify if a client wants to extend their stay, they have priority". WHAT?! But I paid for the room 5 weeks ago! "Sorry sir those are our guidelines" So, apparently, the service provided Hampton Inn by Hilton to customers is like the wind, and the wind blows!
I used to like booking on hilton.com because it was supposed to have the best prices guaranteed. Then I found out that the individual Hiltons sometimes do special bundling deals with wholesalers that you can't get a price guarantee on. So now, I shop around to check what's out there. That costs Hilton money because I occasionally find a deal at a different property brand that is too good to refuse.
Toilet in our room does not work at all, first wouldn't flush, got a plunger sent up but still will not work! Very frustrating after a long day of driving!
No continental breakfast, no housekeeping unless requested, PAY to park in their lot on top of room fees. No microwave in room, no complimentary waters in room. Very dissatisfied with this stay!
I have been a Hilton Honors member through American Express since 1996 and was generally happy about them until now. Suddenly, in July 2023, they deducted points from my account. I contacted them and they directed me back to American Express. Then I wrote to both the American Express CEO and Hilton CEO. After a few weeks of investigation, this is what I am told:
"Our records indicate that your Hilton Honors account had a negative point balance of 1,392 since March of 2006. As you recently resumed use of your account, points earned from the transactions billed on your July 2023 statement were used to offset this negative point balance. Regrettably, we do not retain transaction records beyond seven (7) years and therefore cannot specify the transaction(s) that lead to the negative point balance."
But I always had a positive point balance in this account until Dec 2022 when the last points were used to pay for an Amazon order! Why weren't these points deducted between 2006 and 2022?
I think this is just another way to fleece the customers under the pretext of "we don't know why you owe us, we just know you owe us"!
I am going to close this account and move on. Adios Hilton and American Express!
I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Eatontown NJ. I have stayed at this property many times over the past 30 years. It was previously owned by Starwood Suites. I'm sorry to report that the property has deteriorated significantly. The suite I stayed in has the same worn furniture that has been here for years. The bathroom is small and is located in the bedroom so one cannot access it without going through the BR. The caulk in the tub/ shower is coming out as well as in the bathroom trim. Rust spots are evident as well around the tub. Breakfast was inedible. Pancakes were cold and hard. Some sort of black piece (? Bacon) were presented but not tried. Plastic utensils and disposable plates were provided. All in all a very unsatisfactory environment. The bed was comfortable and the staff pleasant. Unfortunately I wouldn't consider staying here again.
The Hilton.com site and app are down A LOT. Something is wrong with Hilton's technology and I'm getting ready to bail on them and move over to another Hotel chain because of it. Not good business. There's been many times I've tried to login to my reservations and I'm not able to because their app or website is not functioning. Brutal to say the least in September of 2017. Inexcusable. I've given them about $40,000. Of my business the past few years and their technology is pushing me away.
I recently stayed at a Hilton hotel with my family and we were completely satisfied. The staff provided exceptional service, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities were impressive. The convenient location added to the overall enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
Stayed at the Hilton Harbor Island in San Diego recently. Nice clean hotel. I got a real good deal at Hotwire for it. Good service. Only complaint is that parking is $25/night! That's awfully steep for even San Diego, and it is just plain generic open parking.
I may be tainted because we like the Hilton sleep foundations so much we bought one for home. I always feel we got the service and correct amount of catering to when we stay at a Hilton. I have only used them at popular locations and maybe they go overboard at these but couldn't complain if I tried.
Good food and I love being able to be on the executive floor it just suites my style. :) Service has always been exceptional and the food delicious. I have a hard time going out when the food at the hotel is so good.
I travel a lot for my business and always stay in the hilton hotel. IT's always clean adn the staff is nice. When you subscribe to her club you receive many deal and your next trip is cheaper. I will higly recommend these hotel.
Great 5 stars hotel, good location, well decorated, huge Lobby but needs more furniture,
Easy check ion and check out.
Robot is serving the rooms, when you order anything from the Lobby, a robot will deliver you the order, and will call you by phone telling you that he is at the door waiting you.
Great location near Wandoo Plaza, and lots of pubs, restaurants and malls nearby.
Metro station is about 15 minutes walking.
Hotel is decent, nothing special. Second time I have stayed there and they have never asked for an I'd prior to giving us our room key! Hilton Honors is a joke! I prepaid for the room to get the best rate and people checking in in front of me were getting a rate $30 less than I paid? I asked the front desk and they said since I booked direct they could not change it. I called Hilton reservations and the said since I pre paid I was stuck with that price. I stay "STAYED" exclusively@ Hilton hotels 30+ nights a year! Not anymore if they can't be loyal I will not be loyal either!

There is nothing this company doesn't do for their customers, they have changed my dates, waived fees, give great prices and their customer service is amazing. I always use them for hotel stays, travel, and rental cars. I once used CHEAP O AIR and got completely ripped off! Don't ever use that company- not a honest company. Only use Hilton. Com for everything- GREAT COMPANY!
What a disappoint to login to my account and want to continue to stay at Hilton hotels only to find my points have expired and cannot be restored. After everything that has been going on with COVID over the last few years and the alleged notification to an email I can no longer access all of my points from my MANY stays with Hilton hotels are gone. Guess its on to the Hyatt for this family! Poor customer service experience!
I recently saw a Hilton ad showing 2 men with a child walking into Hilton hotel room. I was about to decide to give Hilton $100,000+/year in business. I will not enable companies that kowtow to Leftist agendas. I have no problem with gay couples, however, they represent 1/1000 couples in USA, and they cannot have kids by NATURE, so why are they being promoted on TV?
I generally enjoyed my stay there. They were very clean unlike a previous hotel I went to that had roaches everywhere. The staff were very knowledgeable and actually WEREN'T RUDE like most customer service workers I've came across. The hotel I booked in (Jfk New York) had free shuttle service which is a must for me.
We had to stay here because of flight delay the hotel was clean room was good but pool hot tub was closed and I was informed from other people that it was closed back in Aug we were there Dec 25th/26th. The free breakfast was only for certain tiers of member ship. We felt that they were only there for the money.
Answer: Yes in Italy compare to the USA it's much worth. And the stuff is always RUDE and unfriendly
