Would not recommend this hotel as front desk workers were very unhelpful. Smell of sewer in the room was overwhelming. We stayed in a Melia in Cuba and this time in Spain. Cuba was definitely a better experience.
We were delighted with our holiday to the Melia Alicante. The situation was ideal for elderly visitors like us - strolls in all directions without worrying about traffic, great views in all directions and the town within an easy walk when we wanted it. The hotel was very comfortable and all the staff we came in contact with excellent. Had it not been for illness we would already have returned and we are still hoping to do so.
