Helpful as Hell

Bought a thousand dollar outdoor storage shed last June to be delivered in late June, after my vacation. Got delivered early and was left in my driveway blocking any entrance. Sat there in the rain until I got home late June. Called Home Depot and cancelled the order and they came out the next day and removed it, took it back.

This store is really getting on my nerves. I never get anyone who can help me. No one wearing an orange apron knows where anything is. I always need to ask a manager. The site is better, but most of the things i try to buy are out of stock or must be picked up at the store. The store has the same problem. When ever I do a project there is always one thing missing at the store i am at and i need to travel to a different one. I like Lowe's

GE dryer

Purchased a $900 dryer from Home Depot on Joppa Rd. Worse experience ever. Dry was deliver and they were unable to hook it up. So conveniently the driver and his assistant for got how to speak English and carried on a conversation about me in Spanish. They left angry because I would not sign off didn't leave my manual or my hose and when I called him back he hung up on me and the store wasn't much help either. Called the store and they left me on hold. So after wasting my entire morning I had to drive to the to purchase the thinks my husband will need to hook up the dryer or wait for them to return with my hose and manual. Will say the young land did print me out a manual only thing they did right considering I had to waste my gas.

Had two 6 months no interest promotions. Paid one off that was to expire in a few days. They applied most of the payment to the one that was to expire a month later, and then moved almost the same amount to the one that was to expire sooner. The individual I talked with claimed I split it 50/50, which was a lie. If I had split it 50/50, there would have been balances left on both promotions. He claimed he spoke with some phantom person(s) and that's what they told him. He asked me to call back the day after the promotion expires, and they would remove the interest. Watch your statements and your payments on no interest for a specified time deals. It might be bait and switch.

Just as promised
December 5, 2016

Order the first shower head and it was called Hotel SPA brand It was only about $30.00
The hook up took less than 5 minutes It was wonderful. It was so great we bought another. Both took less than two days to get delivered.
Now just waiting on the fridge during the sale we on the 27 of December

There is a disconnect between the installers (contractors) and Home Depot. I told the installers at the time of the measuring that I wanted a different color. NO updates were made to my account, and after numerous attempts to schedule an install of the carpet, they arrived with the wrong color. Then after rescheduling again for the install of the carpet, he did not do a good job, and we had numerous spots with carpet runs. Home Depot was no help, said I cost them the first carpet already - wrong color, and I should like this carpet. They made it sound like it was all my fault.

Visit a store you can find a product you want but search by Internet is so difficult to search the product which you are looking for.
I have made a wrong order in wrong size.
Customer care does not reach the international level.

Great staff! They go above and beyond to be helpful. Great store! I can find what I need when I need it. A pleasure shopping there. This store is neat and tidy. Prices are very reasonable. Proudly a HomeDepot supporter. You will NOT be sorry shopping at HomeDepot.

Bought a snow blower online on Dec, 13,2017. Picked up in store the same day. Wanted to return the snow blower, which was unopened. When I went to return it, they would not accept it at first. They said their recent policy is that they are not to accept snow blowers for returns. After speaking to the manager, they agreed to let us return it. However, the credit would not be returned to my card. They only wanted to give me store credit. Then I asked if they could order a different snow blower that they did not have in store so that I could buy a different one that I wanted. They said they would not be able to order it because you are not able to use store credit online (the only option they gave me). The most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of. Now I have an unwanted snow blower and cannot even exchange it for something better since they do not carry the one I want in stores.

In comparing the big chain hardware stores in our town, HomeDepo earns 5 stars from me. Our local stores has nice people and almost all the time if I'm walking around and a store clerk sees me they stop and ask if they can help - that's good. I like the way the store is played out and prices are fair. The lumber dept seems to always have the DIY lumber I need for many projects. Now with all that said, it is not perfect, but still deserves the high rating because no one is perfect or no store is perfect.

Rude and disrespectful. Employees. Something as simple as help with getting the right screws for pulls for cabinets was a major issue at this store location. Went to this location several times the same day. Went to Oakville to get better service and the screws I needed to finish the project. I have asked questions regarding flooring and was just directed to look at flooring in the store or take a sample. Funny how another Home Depot could find me exactly what I wanted in a less time too! June 2,2019 is the day I decided never again will I shop at Home Depot. They're the next ones that will be closing down locations soon with their attitude!

I LOVE my store! I've spent over $75,000 in home improvements there! I love the employees! I love the selection and discounts. Went to Lowes once, got treated like garbage. I'll never go there again. Home Depot wichita Falls tx!

Won't be back
July 18, 2022

I ordered from two different stores. Can't track my orders because home Depot saying I don't have any yet my email says I do. My pick up day was pushed 3 days later then the estimated time of delivery. Could have gotten it sent to my home after waiting all this time. All home Depot can say is sorry for the miscommunication. Yup sorry I ordered from here.

I went to Home Depot last night and it was by far the worst experience.
To start employees there need to get more Training.
I was looking for grommet and it seems like nobody knew what that was.
I literally had to walk all the aisle till i found it.
Time for a facelift, time to educate employees.
How about a smile

Discriminatory pricing at Home Depot/Cascade continues. Last year my husband and I bought a picnic table at EW Conn Home Depot for $79 the same picnic table at the Cascade store was $159.
Yesterday we purchased four shrubs at Cumberland Home Depot. They were on sale from $19.98 to $9.98! Today the same shrub at cascade HD is burnt from the sun and is still $22.98.
Why does HD prices continue to be 10-20% higher in BLACK COMMUNITIES? Will get pictures tomorrow

Incompetent
December 21, 2019

The level of incompetence in this store (Franklin TN - 224 S Royal Oaks Blvd) is simply stunning. I go there about once a year, and then only if I can't find what I need somewhere else. Each time I have been reminded why I avoid this store.

Today I needed a small plumbing part. The aisle was of course closed. There was an employee standing on a forklift... doing absolutely NOTHING. I waited and waited. He was just staring off into space... unaware of his surroundings. I finally gave up, and now vow to never return to this store. This isn't the first time this has happened, but it's the last time for me.

As I left, the two teenage boys in their orange aprons were still pushing & shoving each other around the self-checkout aisle. Obviously they had nothing else to do. There couldn't have been more than a half dozen customers in the entire store the SATURDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS. I'll be stunned if this store lasts more than a few more months.

Poor Customer service

Was at the fairfax store in VA looking for LED light fixture, store out of it and the person managing it said he couldn't order it on line! I ordered it myself under 10 minutes while the guy just walked away! It will be delivered in 3 days!

WAS a big fan

Have purchased a lot of things from home depot over the years. One of the things that has turned me from a frequent shopper to an occasional shopper is they bowed to a mob mentality/politically correct crowd. So, whenever i can, i shop somewhere else!

Still the King!

Let's face it folks, when you need ANYTHING for your home or apartment, Home Depot is the first store we think of. No one says "I need drywall and paint, I'll go to Subway!" I know......sarcastic, but that's just me Seriously though, Home Depot is the place to go for pretty much everything you could need (minus a pizza), however I only gave 4 stars because the higher-ups at Home Depot know this same truth about their store. Hence the prices could stand to be knocked down a few notches. Things are starting to get expensive guys/gals! Back me up here!

Cabinet refacing
August 23, 2023

Had cabinet refacing done in my home from the Traverse City Michigan store.
The gentleman that came out was very thorough. And told me everything that was going to be done. And that the cabinets would be completely finished when they left.
When the gentleman that came out to do the work left. I had scratches on my new farmhouse Sink, crooked doors, crooked trim Overlapping doors and a hole in the ceiling.
I contacted the store and they said they will see what they can do. But I am not getting any replies back just the runaround
