They have the worst customer service. I ordered online and after 2 months the item was not yet delivered. Online customer service told that they can't refund because my order was shipped! They don't understand that no update for over 1 month on the tracking. Each time they say that RESOLUTION TEAM will contact me! They still never contacted! Don't believe them, customer service have zero knowledge and the worst resolution team. They will NEVER help, they only trying to scam each time.
I really appreciate being able to shop on Home Depot.com that has 25 different configurations on Delta Breez bathroom fans and even a Delta Tub Spout in an unusual size that no one else could supply! I got the Home Depot credit card to give me a year to return purchases to them instead of 90 days. Sometimes projects get delayed due to the contractor's schedule and you never truly know something is going to work until the contractor installs it. So 90 days isn't always enough. With their credit card, they also gave a number of months to pay without interest. And last but not least, they carry the brand of Behr Marqee paint which carries a top rating by an independent consumer magazine.
What you would expect. Helpful people here who know about their departments. I'm sure a lot of the staff here has previously worked or majored in a trade of some sort. Ofc I am certainly not referring to all staff because I have definitely met a lot of stupid & rude 1's who straight up should've been fired out the door, but lets not focus on that shall we?
Again their display's are pleasant to look at, & they have at time's live workshop's going on in the store, which I think is a great idea. When I do need assistance there is always someone there to assist me & answer any Q&A's I have about a particular product. Front desk is nice & have even offered at time's to load heavy item's into my vehicle. No idea if this is part of their policy or anything but if their doing this wholly voluntarily than a "BIG" thank you.
The store associates filled out the order form with wrong product coding in Tewksbury, MA store.
I am trying to return my money and, most importantly, my TRUST.
Was it done on purpose? The store manager refuses to understand the situation saying that "that what I signed in the order"
My husband and I love to remodel properties. We can always find quality products at Home Depot in every department. We can order on line and have items delivered to our home for free. This is great since some of our remodels are as far as an hour away from the store. We LOVE Home Depot!
I literally spent twelve thousand dollars with these people went a tornado. At the end of my job, I need to do a return on things that I bought that I didn't use and all they want to do is fight with me and not take care of me. I will not return to home depot I will spend my money with lowe's
It was so pleasant to visit home depot store located at South Fort Apache and W Tropicana Road. I needed 5/8 inch plywood for my kitchen floor. At lumber department, Kim helped me get the right board. I needed the board to be cut into the width I needed. There is a cutting section at the back of the lumber department. Kim was nice and professional. He cut the board for me. The board fits my floor perfectly. I had my kitchen repairs done just as easy as it can. Thank you so much for Kim and his colleagues. You guys are awesome. You all made my day as good a it can be. I appreciate it a lot for the great craftsmanship.
Attempted to buy a whole home generator twice from the Uniontown Store in Pennsylvania. Both times we were told someone would contact us and come to our residence to give us an estimate. Both times we heard nothing from them. We also went to Lowes to get a free estimate as well (which was after we went to Home Depot). Well, Lowes called for appointment, already did the estimate, ordered the unit, and by the first week in March, I should have my generator fully installed. Still waiting for Home Depot to call for the free in-home estimate, so I can tell them they missed their chance on this sale (a $9,776.00 sale to be precise). They really need to step up their game in that department, because other than that, Home Depot is my Husbands favorite. Which is the only reason I gave them a few stars.
I have ordered online several times from Home Depot and they use UPS to deliver in our area. They are not reliable and my items have gone to 12 Cities, Two Provinces and Two Countries and still not arrived at our home. Home Depot needs to use a different more reliable Delivery Service.
They offer a $25.00 gift card but that's not the point. They know about the problem and should fix it by using a different service.
I will never do service with Home Depot again because when you signed up a contract to put up a gate what they put on paperwork it is not what they do. Home Depot hired outside contractors to do the service but they didn't get the job done. The gate is broken in less than a year still they want to fix.
Supposedly, they finally listened to customer complaints re the lack of availability of staff assistance. They now have sufficient staff who will ask if they can be of service.
Shop there over Lowe's any day. Have to return everything I purchased from Lowe's for lack of parts.
This review primarily applies to appliance purchases. Over the past ten years I've purchased ten appliances from HomeDepot; their prices are competitive and they seem to carry the brands favored by Consumer Reports. While I've gone to the store to examine the item (recommended); I have completed the purchase on-line which has included scheduling its installation and removal of the old. The process has been seamless and easy with delivery being as promised with the installers doing a careful and efficient job. My most recent purchase was for same day delivery and installation of a hot water heater. It was ordered by 9:30 am, delivered at 2:00pm! A bit pricey for the installation but
I know people who work for Home Depot. All employees have to work in a store at some point in their career. This is why this company is the best. They are team players and their goal is to help the customer.
We were all set to order three doors. Wanting to make sure that the doors were measured and ordered properly, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that for $50.00, someone would come to the house and measure for us. Sold! A couple of days went by and someone from Home Depot called. Hey, we're in the area, can we stop by? Sorry, we aren't home. Then radio silence. We called a couple days later. Oh yeah, we'll call you right back. Never did. Third call. Yeah, we'll give you the installers number, you call him and set it up. WHAT!?! Ten days later, order is cancelled. I told the store manager but I'm pretty sure he doesn't care. He didn't even take all of my information. What a waste of time.
I love to shop at HomeDepot and this is the best store. Customer service was great
And everything went smooth with my return. Their Employees are the best and go out of their way to help me every time I shop there.
Home Depot is requiring a person to have a Smart Phone and a Home Dept App to get the Military Discount. A great number of us Military types do not have a Smart Phone and will not be getting one for a long time. They will say they have a work around but is also not working. Lowes has solved the problem, they let use register and we give the cashier our phone number and everything is solved. They get our money and we get the discount with no problems. After 24 years of Military service, this requirement is like a slap in the face! Word will go through the military community very quickly and make Lowe's customers out of us. What was wrong with the old policy where we just showed our ID to receive the discount?
I switched from Lowe's to Home Depot. About the ONLY issue I have is that sometimes it's very difficult to find someone to help you, and that's because the staffing is low... I suppose to save money?

I purchased a Refrigerator on May 21,2022 and it was to be delivered on Friday, May 27,2021. I asked that it be delivered prior to 12 noon. I received an automated voice message reporting my item would be delivered between 1:00 pm & 5:00 pm on May 27,2022. It was delivered after 6:30 pm that day. The only thing Home Depot is concerned about is sell the item. As a customer it is take it or leave it.
I went to HD for dirt. I found one that said 1.68. It seemed right to me because it was without all the food, just plain dirt. After waiting for the teller in the heat for a long time the price for each bag was almost $8. It was too late to say no and she sent us to customer service. Luis in customer service said I didn't do it and did not assumed any responsability. The dirt was in the wrong place. I wasted my time and nothing happened. Luis did not apologize. This is the minimum you can do for a good customer service.
It was the best job that I ever had. Super management staff. With a lingering foot injury, I had to sadly leave after 2 months. I wholly recommend Home Depot in Dewitt for a new Job, Andrea.
