Tried using Beyondthemenu for the first time today and I was VERY unhappy. 20-25 minutes after I had placed my order for pick-up, I was already standing in line at the restaurant to pay when I got a phone call from the restaurant asking me what my order was because they just got a call about my order but it did not specify what my order was. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my food! Totally defeated the purpose! Very unhappy with this service, use skipthedishes instead.
Waited 1 hour for our food delivery - no word. I called restaurant to be told that the order was cancelled by BM. Called Beyond Menu who said they tried to call and couldn't reach me - though no call registered on my phone. Without emailing me or trying to call again they just cancelled the order. Again no notification. Restaurant now processing the order directly and dinner will arrive another hour later (2 hours total). Just call restaurant directly - do not use BM.

When we switched owners for our resturant we had contacted this company ahead of time. However our April payment was still delayed. When we had asked, we got the reply that it would at the most take about 2 months to gain the bank's approval. Which made no sense to us. However since we did just switched we gave them the 2 months. It's the middle of July and when we call, it's always the same reply. When we call now the calls are cut short or it doesn't get through. There almost seems to be no manager there at all. They also tell us to wait for a call back, a simple term for never. I really need to put this on a Google review where everyone can see this. Please Beware.

1 - There is no real way to contact them. You can leave them a message on their site and you will NEVER get a response, I have tried about 12 times.
2 - Food mods are not an option ever?!? I like ordering pizza for example. If I order from any pizza place on this site, and if I choose a named special pizza, I have no option to add extra toppings. WTF?

Like many below me, I ordered online, went to the restaurant for pick-up and found BeyondMenu had cancelled the order. They said they "called" and got no reply. Maybe because I was on my way to the restaurant, if, in fact, they called. If they need to call to confirm, then why are we online and state this on the website.

I went to place an order at our favorite Japanese take-out. I had to register with beyondmenu.com to do so. I also placed my order and entered my credit card info. When my son went to pickup our order, he was told it was never received. I called the phone number for beyondmenu.com and my call went directly to voice mail. I left a detailed message, along with a call back number. It is now 4.5 hours later, with no returned call from beyondmenu.com. I tried searching "Previous Orders" on their site. In incorrect grammar I received a "Not ordered" message.

I ordered pizza with Beyond Menu for my son's sleep over and THEY canceled the order! They "attempted to contact me" by calling but hung up without leaving any message. Then when I called an hour later after finding an email that they had cancelled the order I was told I was being rude for getting upset and that my order was canceled because "the restaurant had an open problem". I asked three times if I heard right and apparently I heard right, Whatever that means! I will never use them again - nor Villa Roma Pizza as long as they use them. Adding in response to Beyond Menu response below that I contact them: No, I won't call your company. I tried that already and the person I spoke with didn't even make sense. It's a scam company as seen by the many many reviews on here. I feel like I got off lucky!

I am from a small town in Kansas and only one restaurant uses this ( chinese). I have used it twice now and both times it worked great. I did not have delivery but pick up. I wish other restaurants in this town would get something like this!

If I could have given no stars I would have. These people are not customer friendly and they do not try to help you in anyway. I would not order through them ever again. If your people (restaurants) are rude that should be a problem with your company. I called to cancel the order that did not get canceled. The restaurant lied and said they had already sent the driver out when in fact he had not left the store. I explained to beyondmenu and they did not care. Total waste of time and yes it was a chinese food order.

What happen is I have told the beyond-menu that we want the customer to come and pay at store only and they said "Okay" but what happen yesterday is the customer said they already paid with beyond-menu. So we can't close order because the customer not going to pay with us. We try to email person name "Alice" she the one taking care of our problem all the time. She didn't answer. Today we try to called beyond-menu and some guy have pick up and listen to our problem and he ask for order number from yesterday that have problem. His attitude when he talk with us was not a nice attitude at all. (Maybe because he don't understand what I'm said) While I'm try to find order number he just hang up.

A restaurant website used this company for their online orders and they are the WORST!
I called the restaurant and told them to cancel their service so they do not lose good return customers like me.
I placed an order at 6:30pm and they called to verify my credit card 15 minutes later.
Over an hour and no food. I called them back and they said their rep had not been able to get a hold of me so they put the order on hold, I told them that was a lie as I has did verify the credit card and gave them the time off my phone this was done. They then said the problem was with their security people who had not called the restaurant to clear the order.
These jokers should not be in business!

I don't know what everyone else is complaining about. I ordered my food through this site and everything went through immediately, and they got my order right on time. Paid for it on the site, and everything went smoothly. The reviews scared me and made me think I was making the wrong move, going through a third party.

They took the liberty of cancelling my order and I did not find out until I got to the restaurant. I called them and they could not provide me a reason as to why. I had to wait 30 minutes to get an order for a very hungry office of people. I do nor recommend

I've used this before without much difficulty but tonight the app never seemed to finish processing my credit card. I couldn't find any way to refresh or check wtf was going on. Finally had to call the restaurant and guess what? They did have my order and were preparing it. This does not, however, fill me with confidence in the security of my information. I will never use this app again. I found this site because I had to search for help and I must say I am in total agreement with all the negative reviews.

I placed an order, no confirmation, just asumed and walked to restaurant. They tell me no order received. When I showed them the email, they said orders from beyondmenu never get through, this happens all the time. I had to place another order that took a half hour. Got home with food more than an hour after initial order. I sent the website an email explaining the situation, never even got a response (more than a week ago).

I ordered Yokohama from this website in Harrisburg and got my food in a timely manner. Only thing was when I got an email there wasn't an estimated time of arrival so I did get a little nervous. Other than that it was great!

This app just allowed me to order from a restaurant that is CLOSED! I've never had a food site tell me I should have known the restaurant was closed. That's why I went on line to order. I should be able to trust the app, not allowed to place an order that will never arrive then tell me I have to wait 5 days to get my money back. Horrible, will never order from anywhere that uses this app!

Answer: Hi Judy, can you provide us the order number for clarification? Normally, the system will prompt you to add a tip. However, on the check out page you have the option to choose pay thru BM or pay cash directly to restaurant. If you pay to BM online, we forward those tip payments, delivery charges and order amt to the restaurant every 1st and 16th of the month. They get BM payments bi-monthly. Now, if you choose pay at store or pay by cash at store, the system will not prompt you to enter a tip.
