I just ordered food from my local Indian restaurant online with the option to pick it up and when I got to the restaurant the owner of the restaurant told me to not use Beyond Menu because I paid $30 extra on my order than I would have if I ordered directly from the restaurant because they up-charge for commission.
For example my chicken curry was $24.99 and the restaurant would have charged me $12.99. This is deceptive marketing on behalf of Beyond Menu because they don't give any warning to let you know that you're about to pay $10 extra per dish when ordering through them. I called and spoke with somebody in customer service and they told me they wouldn't give me a refund so I kept on pushing and they said a manager will call me back. I'm hoping they will do the right thing. I understand an up-charge for delivery but pick-up should never be extra.
I attempted to make a restaurant order for pickup using Beyond Menu. I paid for the order and received a confirmation.
Upon going to pick up the order I was advised that Beyond Menu had cancelled my order. No reason given. I asked them why by email. No response.

I started using Door Dash, and seen negative reviews on our stakes. Some one orders a med-rare stake and the stake is placed in a take out container that is designed to keep food hot, the stake continues to cook while in route to the customer. When the customer receives their meal the stake is now well done, or close to it. The customer is then pissed off and goes onto Doir Dash and leaves a bad review. This review hurts the business, and the writer of the review orders else were next time.
I found that a person can come into the restaurant and have several meals with no negative issues and then try the home delivery and end up writing a negative review. The best path forward is to be careful what you order, and don't expect it to be quite as good as you expect. If you want top quality then go out and eat, and then judge accordingly.

This company is not reliable at all. After waiting 30 minutes for an order that was suppose to be delivered I was notified that the driver canceled the pick up. I had to call three times in order to finally ask for a refund. The first two times I called I was told that i would need to go pick up the order. When I told them i did not have a car (the only reason i would have someone deliver my food) they said they were trying to contact the restuarant and would contact me back in 3-5 minutes. On my 3rd call I was told they were trying to reach the restuarant to see if anyone there could deliver it to me. I finally had to ask for a full refund. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I WAS DIRECTED TO THIS FOOD DELIVERY THINKING IT WAS THE RESTUARANT! THEY DID NOT DELIVER MY FOOD AND THEN TRIED TO GET THE RESTUARANT TO DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM.

When you told us you couldn't, we tried contacting the restaurant to see if they could make a delivery. Since the store was unresponsive on the phone, it took some time to get through. When we finally reached the owner, we learned that their store had to close that day due to an emergency.

I almost never leave reviews, but when your food doesn't show and it's been 2 hours past your delivery time, you start to wonder. I called and they told me they had canceled my order, even though the restaurant said they made it and it was picked up hours ago. Sounds to me like one of the drivers stole my food. My daughter and I waited and needless to say was pissed. Never got a call back from the company, when they said they would call back within an hour. I had to call back the next day to make sure I got my money back and they couldn't

My girlfriend hired them for our restaurant and they kept making shady requests for access to our actual business listing. We called them and told them to stop, so they found a WORK AROUND and stole the business listing and revoked all our access and put their own website in there. SUPER SHADY BUSINESS. And now we have to wait to get access back to our OWN BUSINESS. BEWARE.

Please be advised that for anyone to gain access on a particular google listing, a Google code is needed to gain access on it and these google code postcards are sent only to the restaurant's address. Unless your restaurant provided us that code and we entered it on Google then that's the only time we can gain access on your restaurant's Google page and as of this writing there's no other work around on this one. In short, unless the code that was sent to your store was given to us. We hope we were able to clarify your misconception on this matter.
I have used Beyond Menu since 2015 and regularly order lunch for pickup through the website. I found a great little Chinese restaurant nearby and they never get my order wrong, I've never been overcharged, and the order is received quickly (much easier than making a phone order). I have ordered from multiple restaurants in several cities. The only times I have had a negative experience was when the restaurant neglected to monitor their online orders. Either that, or they chose to stop accepting online orders without alerting Beyond Menu. Thanks for helping me get my Kung Pao chicken fix on a regular basis.

BeyondMenu has no value or morals. I've remove them from my Google Business Listing many times... so they hacked my account to add it back on multipy times. They do that so they can ride on your existing customers thru Google Business Listings and make their fees off your existing customers without investing to bring you new customers. These freeloaders wont cancel the service as I requested many times either as it's been going on several years now. Beware of this company!

Please be advised that it would be impossible for any third party service to "hijack" your google listing. For anyone to gain access on a particular google listing, a Google code is needed to gain access on it and these google code postcards are sent only to the restaurant's address. Unless your restaurant provided us that code and we entered it on Google then that's the only time we can gain access on your restaurant's Google page. An access on your listing is needed to change any information on it. Others may suggest to update the information but if you will not approve it then it will not show online. Google's algorithm can also cause automatic update on your listing. Great food. Allow extra time if ordering on weekends. Wait time is an additional hour due to Door Dash and Grub hub orders taking precedence over pick up at carry out.

I used BeyondMenu to place an order for delivery from Dragon's Best in Pikesville, Md, the order, tip and delivery fee were charged to my card.
Dragon's Best called me and refused to deliver the order; asked me did I want to pick it up and said they don'r know why BeyondMenu allowed the order to be placed. If I wanted to pick up I would not have tried to use a delivery services. Dragon's Best said they would do a refund to my credit card, (hasn't shown up yet). Although BeyondMenu is promoted with Grubhub and Doordash, this is not what they are! BeyondMenu

I searched for my favorite restaurant on google and mistakenly clicked on the "got to website" link in the Google info panel on the right, thinking it would go to the restaurants website. It didn't. It went to beyondmenu's fake site for the restaurant. The menu and contact info all looked legit but some of the interface didn't work as I remembered the last time I ordered from the restaurant. The prices also seemed very high. I proceeded to checkout anyway (stupid me). The site required me to create an account... so I figured the restaurant had decided to go with a new online vendor. However the site said there was a problem verifying my credit card. I double checked and all info was correct. So I called the restaurant and placed my order over the phone. The bill was more than 25% cheaper. I then informed the restaurant owner of this apparent scam. They said they were not aware of beyond menu and were attempting to fix the links. This is very frustrating. Don't use Beyond Menu... It is a SCAM.

May we know what restaurant were you referring to? It's impossible that the menu prices on our end our 25% higher that those of the restaurant since menu details comes directly from them. Also may we ask on what part were you "scammed"? You mentioned the transaction was not successful since your credit card was not verified, is that right?

I've never had a problem of any kind and I've been using them a lot for a long time. The only caveat is I use them for only one (great) Chinese restaurant, so it works for that one place.

The only reason for 1 star is just to write this review. I will NEVER use online ordering with beyondmenu again! This was my first and last time to place a order that has to go through them. I am so very upset, spending $35 on myself for Chinese lunch specials and not one item placed was correct! I called the restaurant and they stated they never received any of my special instructions, so yes, I'm pissed with this beyondmenu! In fact, I have called this same restaurant in the past with special instructions and orders have always been correct.

I submitted my order and after confirming on the website that the restaurant would be delivered to my address I placed my order. After an hour of waiting for my order to be delivered I went into email to check to see what happened. I received an email about half an hour after my order was placed that my Order was canceled because my address is too far away from the restaurant.
I am a working single mom and now I discover an hour after my order is placed I don't not have food on the way to feed my children. Horrible first experience

I have ordered 3 times using this app.
The first couple of times I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of COVID.:
No longer because every order takes 90+minutes and you have to call to follow up.
This last time we ordered was two blocks away and still the same amount of time.
BM tried to blame our doorman. Not them.
So I called the restaurant because we dine there 2x's a week, it's our fav neighborhood sushi spot.
The restaurant told us to call them directly because they don't get their orders from BM for some time... they have no idea when they're transmitted.
There are plenty of other delivery services to use..

They constantly hijack your google business page and link their website instead your true website. In doing so, my restaurant get an order for prices that are incorrect and that I have to honor. We had tried to numerous times to update our menu with them and they never do it. So we are done. After telling them we no longer wanted to be partner, three weeks late they hijack our google business page again and start direct orders to use through their fake website. We are dine with Beyond Menu. Save your money and just order directly from the restaurant or many of the other third party vendors that are honest and offer better customer service.

Answer: Hi Judy, can you provide us the order number for clarification? Normally, the system will prompt you to add a tip. However, on the check out page you have the option to choose pay thru BM or pay cash directly to restaurant. If you pay to BM online, we forward those tip payments, delivery charges and order amt to the restaurant every 1st and 16th of the month. They get BM payments bi-monthly. Now, if you choose pay at store or pay by cash at store, the system will not prompt you to enter a tip.
