Web 2.0 meets karoke is the basis of this website. Think PS singstar but online only and you have using2.com. Seems like a pretty good site but it is not quite as good as singstar online through the PS3 right now. This may change over time as this site is free right now and if it gains momentum could get quite a bit of traffic. I'm sure other sites like this exist and with everyone using webcams and skype, hopefully this catches on. I can see Rock Band turning into a webcam and free internet based game.

You may wonder why anyone would waste their time researching how to cook in a clay pot, but unless you have tasted a chicken made in a clay pot you are missing out. Clay pot cooking allows for the meats to take on a very distinct flavor and texture that other methods of slow cooking cannot achieve. Romertopf is the leading brand of the many clay pots that are on the market and they will last you for years. The next time you decide to go out to dinner, instead go buy a cheap clay pot for $20 and a whole chicken for $8 and create a healthy meal for an entire family. Here is a recipe for your first clay pot chicken

Bite sized audio news delivered for free to your cell phone is perfect for when you are standing in line or want a break from listening to your music. Even better are the comedy shows that are available on lexy as well. Check it out and sign up for just a couple audio clips to see how you like it at first. Careful not to let them text you too often as that can get annoying.

One of my favorite magazines along with wired as they have useful technology articles and information about the new practices in the workplace. Nice place to learn about innovative business opportunities.

I have always been impressed by Phillip's commitment to home and consumer healthcare medical devices. From home cardiac monitors to their impressive array of asthma care devices I would recommend anyone with any chronic disease to see what this company has to offer to help them manage their condition.
Vitamin D Council

Most people still believe that you can get most of your nutrients from the food you consume, but the latest medical research on taking supplements such as Vitamin D have shown the medical benefits of taking certain supplements. It turns out that vitamin D really isn't a true "vitamin" and that term was coined back when scientists didn't really understand the role of these chemicals. Vitamin D is really a type of hormone and often needed in the body in larger amounts than doctors previously thought. I recommend everyone to read this website and see if it may apply to you. Talk to your primary care doctor about taking vitamin D as a supplement and possibly getting your levels measured.

Very useful application that is great for small businesses. They offer for just 9 dollars a month the ability to easily create dynamic content to advertise a business. You can upload videos, power point videos or anything to show to potential customers. Then you can share these videos with businesses that are doing the same thing. The main advantage in being with partnering with other businesses. Great concept at a reasonable price. I'm definitely telling my friends who own businesses about this idea.

Almost every company out there wants users to tag their photos, facebook, google, flickr...they do this to organize the photos and allow them to become indexed. The value for the user is that now they also can locate their photos and their friends can find the photos too. Stipple has a great idea of making what they call dots on their photos and their system of tagging is far more robust and can be tagged anyone on the internet. Even more important is the revenue stream the user can generate if they tag their photos. If someone blogs about a celebrity and they happen to be wearing designer jeans in the photo, you can tag that specific part of the image and provide a direct link to buy that pair of designer jeans. I suspect it is only a matter of time before they can do this for video as well...then we can finally say goodbye to TV commercials and product placement will be all over the place.

Fitbit is a neat little device that works like a nintendo wii tracking your daily movements and then calculating your total calories burned. I tried to order one but they are currently backordered as they seem to be in high demand. They do have a partnership with google health to upload your data. Probably a cool gadget for people to track their daily activities and as a physician, I would recommend that people always take the stairs rather than the elevator so if a device like this can inspire people to get more activity into their daily life that would be a good thing. They also claim it can track sleep, and that too could be useful for people to monitor. I like this device as simply a reminder for people to get exercise and get to bed early for sleep...I hope it catches on as it serves a good purpose in promoting health.

DDD is one of the main companies trying to bridge the gap between the sparsely produced 3D games and movies and the abundance of 3DTVs and 3D PCs. They have algorithms that convert 2D content into 3D. While it is not going to be as impressive as content made specifically for 3D this does allow for people to get more use out of their current 3DTVs.

I highly recommend this book and website for those individuals looking to learn more about how nutrition relates to diseases and health. The book is geared for physicians but I think almost anyone could benefit from this book. Great knowledge base and a valuable addition to anyone's medical library. It covers almost all common diseases from diabetes to eczema and how nutrition influences the disease process and how the foods people consume can aid in the treatment of these diseases.
Vaccine Information You Need

Vaccine Information You Need

11/19/10
Vaccination has been the subject of debate for many new parents as well as seniors who wonder if they should be getting flu and pneumonia vaccines. On the internet people can find evidence to support pretty much anything as many sites exist that will tell people to avoid vaccines because of their potential side effects. Yet at the same time, vaccines today saves lives but because people cannot tangibly see the lives being saved, it makes it more difficult to support the cause for vaccination.

This website gives solid medical information to the public regarding vaccination and is a valuable resource for people researching almost any vaccine. The have a database of photos, case histories, legit references, etc.

With all of the coupon craziness out there on the internet these days and daily deal sites popping up like weeds, it is refreshing to see a site like this which just simply aggregates together all of the coupon needs you may have on groceries. For just a few minutes of time, you could easily be saving a few bucks on things you buy every week.

Probably some of the best designed gifts for clients and family/friends. They will even custom print your name etched on a glorious wooden box. The foods are delicious and they have been a hit with everyone who receives them. I think this is one of those gifts that clients and referral sources definitely remember.

wonderful physician and beauty expert - I have known Dr. Lin for years and she is an amazing physician in both skin rejuvenation and anti aging techniques. Her office staff is personable and warm. She also invented MDLashFactor and that shows her committment to the world of cosmetic skin care.
Best Buy

Best Buy

Overall as a company, I would give bestbuy a decent rating. They have lots of great products and their geeksquad is very good for repairs and their extended warranties. However, let me advise against preordering from BestBuy. I recently preordered a Sony camera that was in high demand 2 months in advance. I paid for it 2 months in advanced. Then, when my sony camera arrived, I received a phone call to pick it up. When I arrived at the store to pick up the camera which I had paid for 2 months ago, they said "sorry, looks like we sold it to someone else". You will have to wait another 1-2 months to get it or you can just have your money back. Seriously?!?! This is not the level of customer service one would expect purchasing a camera costing thousands of dollars. They sold a camera that I had already paid for and it was "locked up" behind a gate....and I was told to just come pick it up. I saved the voicemail and had to play it to a manager. Overall I have had decent experiences with BB in the past, but I will never again preorder anything from them.
