I ordered first delivery window 7a-7p on a weekday! I work! 2 delivery time 3-7 p. I left work early only to find out WAYFAIR driver ran out of time so I wouldn't get delivered. I rescheduled for Saturday got a window of 9:30-1:30pm driver says he can't find my bldg and he needs to call it in " he's at the corner of my street " refused to turn around! He told the company he didn't feel safe and " I " was rude cussing at him! He was looking for an excuse NOT to deliver! I CANCELLED ENTIRE ORDER! Do Better WAYFAIR!

Whoever oversees the customer service division is useless. No policies or procedures in place to handle issues. Have to chase them up to be refunded for items that go out of stock days after my purchase.

Awesome online store

I've boycotted Walmart and Amazon for being billionaire-centric instead of paying a living wage. This store is an awesome alternative. I finally needed their customer service and they far exceeded my expectations there as well.

What a poorly designed site experience. Products show up in my search as being on sale and offered to be sold, but when clicking into the item further, it reads "Out of Stock". I went through countless items until I finally gave up. What an amazingly horrible shopping experience. I'd yell to them to get their site fixed, but now that I'm reading other customers reviews on their poor shipping practices and lack of customer service, I think I'll steer clear.

I purchased 2 not cheap wood planters that were advertised in their own words as weather resistant and "The cedar wood components are pre-stained with an environmentally safe water-based stain to ensure lasting service". Both items came defective and Wayfair team was quick to send replacement parts that arrived a few weeks later but after only 2 months of the boxes being under a covered porch they are both covered in fungus and mold and falling apart. One of them was never even filled with plants and has not been exposed to water, only the dew of the FL nights. Warranty says only 30 days so they are not offering any type of compensations and I cannot even leave them as decor because of the disgusting mold and fungus growing everywhere not to mention that they are peeling... I have never seen "wood" that peels. $300 wasted on falsely advertised products, will never buy anything from them.

I purchased a pair of tissue box covers in oil-rubbed bronze, but after receiving them, realized the matte black would be a better match to our other accessories. So I wanted to just exchange them, but Wayfair doesn't exchange. You must return and reorder, which is fine, except to return they were going to charge me $13.99. My total order was only $40, so they'd be deducting 35% for the return fee! Outrageous. No thanks. I have to keep them now.

I am writing my review three years after purchasing a sofa set and tv stand. The sofa was super cheap in price and lasted day-to-day use for the three years, until now it is starting to fall apart. I feel I got my money's worth. My items came timely and in brand new condition without any problems. I've recently ordered from them again.

Wrong color

We ordered a sectional sofa from Wayfair & before we purchased we called to check on the exact color & the Wayfair rep told us that it was espresso a dark brown color & that's what we were looking for, so after they confirmed we placed order. Then after waiting for order to finally arrive we opened & it's black! Called to see why & it doesn't come in espresso? We told them to come pick back up at which time were informed they will take back if we pay all shipping fees & I did! Just would never buy there Cheap Chinese garbage again!

Above-and-beyond customer service

The short version: I bought a table top 5 months ago from Wayfair.com, thinking I had purchased a whole table. Finally unpacking, I realized my mistake and tried to get a base. No longer sold by Wayfair. Gena B., the chat rep I spoke to, worked for 2 weeks to get a decision from the merchandising team, and in the end she arranged for a full refund for my table top. I was blown away by her tenacity in making this right, and I've never received such good service from a company. Especially since I contributed to the situation by not noticing the error until 5 months later. 5 Stars for Gena B.

Wayfair sells furniture and housewares online. I am an elderly retiree living in CT but with a winter home in California, where the table was shipped..

Reasonable prices

I've ordered from them couple times already. It's shipped to me and i have to put it together myself. Which is expected, unless you pay extra for it to be put together for you. Shipment comes quite fast, I got my desks within 1 week of my order date. So far I've been happy with their products.

Huge online department store featuring 200+ different sales categories and a seemingly endless range of products. Just at random, there are more than 500 entries under the "paper and note books" link, although this impressive count is dwarfed by the 1,118 rifle sights under the heading of "Outdoor Recreation". A lot of products are discounted, though I didn't test the shipping charges. However, even with the inevitable add-on for handling, it's still the sort of site you'll turn to if you don't have easy access to city center shopping malls or indeed, entire shopping centers. Everything from bamboo flooring to wheelchairs is here, and with a few minor exceptions, such as most of the laser rifle sights, the store will ship to Canada as well as the USA.

I've purchased a handful of things here for my home. One of my fave's is my unique wall mounted wine rack. I've not had any issues in my 3-4 purchases. Good prices and you get points back that turn into dollars off towards future purchases. They have a 3 piece rug sale going on now and I will be perusing their selection.

Wayfair has reached our to me and let me purchase a new chair at the open-box price. However this was only after my reviews proved to get a lot of views. If you want customer service write a well worded review calling them out. Truly a bad company.

My wife and I are expecting our first baby in Dec. We have been saving for a rocking chair that my wife wants for our nursery. We found the chair on sale on Black Friday for a good price and so we ordered it instead of getting it at the local furniture store that also had a sale. Today Wayfair canceled my order and said my refund will be 3-5 business days. Now we have missed all the sales and while the chair is still available in another color they say I have to pay full price. I also talked to a manager who was not helpful at all. Very disappointing, they did nothing to make this right. To top it all off, the brand was Mercury Row which is owned by Wayfair.

Love this website and have had a positive experience with them overall. Agree that their shipping is slow, so be prepared for that. Also, another reviewer here said that Wayfair refuses to publish negative reviews of their items! This sucks! I bought 4 pieces of furniture- 3 were awesome and one was not good. I left reviews for all 4 pieces and they published all of them except my negative review! Very dishonest. So buyer beware- can't count on those reviews.

Read the fine print

If you go by the pictures, you will be disappointed. I just bought a shelf unit to fill a wall in my kitchen based on the picture on the website. The picture made it look about 7' tall. When I got the package and started putting together, I realized it was more of a plant stand than a wall unit. Luckily they took it back and gave me my money back. But be sure you read all the specifications and don't go by the pictures. They lie!

I am extremely disappointed with Wayfair's customer service. I experienced repeated dishonesty regarding shipping and delivery dates. My order was delayed three times, and despite multiple assurances, it never arrived. On the fourth attempt, they sent a replacement because they couldn't locate the original order, only to later claim it was out of stock. This ordeal cost me additional money, and I am furious with the lack of accountability from Wayfair. If you need items shipped on time, stay far away from this company.

Waste of time
May 21, 2020

I was on hold for over 45 minutes. My stuff has not been delivered and it has be days since it said it would come in. There was not email or information indicating it would arrive late. Once on hold the lady was super nice and I do not blame her for having to answer unhappy callers all day. Basically all this to say they need management or system changes.

Delivery delays

I recently ordered a gas grill from WayFair on June 8th, with an expected delivery date of June 12th. However, as of today, 6/16/24, the item has yet to be shipped.

I was excited about receiving the grill in time for summer gatherings, but unfortunately, the delay has been disappointing. Despite the initial promise of a prompt delivery, there has been no communication regarding the delay or when I can expect the item to be shipped. I called on June 12 and was told the item would be expediated.

It was good to get to speak with a person they have a customer service number.
However, the main issue has been the lack of transparency and communication regarding the delay. It's frustrating to not have clarity on when the grill will arrive, especially when planning events around its use.

While I am eager to receive the gas grill and hopeful that it will meet expectations once it arrives, the delay and lack of communication have detracted from what should have been a straightforward purchasing experience. I hope that Wayfair improves its communication with customers in similar situations in the future.

The Tech was disrespectful & refused to carry the boxes to our bedrooms, knowing we were disabled, we order the white glove service, which they charged us twice for the bed installation, but yet the tech they had sent made it very clear rudely that, taking boxes to the rooms is not his responsibility. Heartless!
How else can you serve those who are elderly & disbledwhen it comes to this white glove service, something so simple, he wouldn't do. Wayfair did nothing to compensate our frustrations as disabled veterans at all, they just rescheduled us 2 days later, and told us to call them before tech arrives, and they'll tell the tech to move boxes to location. How inconvenient!
We spent 1017.00 for a complete horrible and heartless experience. Shame on wayfair and this particular tech.

Terrible customer service Horrible experience twice missing parts offered me 15% for my trouble then when is asked for another supervisor was told slate wipes clean offered removed and only willing to send missing parts with the expectation I should pay again for assembly!
