It baffles me how Wayfair can be late with shipping for every large item people purchase, despite delivery guarantees at the time of sale, yet they never feel responsible when customers complain. Every other retailer is in a world apart. I can't think of a single retailer that would not make it right if they did something wrong, except Wayfair.
I placed and order 11/28/22 for one of Wayfair's cyber Monday deal. Now clearly there was limited stock because the colors were selling out fast, so I made sure to place my order. I have since talked to customer service twice, been told three different dates it would be sent out. First they said they were waiting on UPS to pick it up, then gave my a tracking number, but come to find out from UPS it was the return number. I demanded to speak to a supervisor which he promised to give me a call by Monday 12/12 the latest with an update and has not returned my follow up emails since he never called! In the meantime I get an email from Wayfair the item is now back ordered! This place is a joke and I hope no one uses their services. Anyone thinking of buying anything from them, don't! They just make sure to take your money and run!
Literally 1 month after the warranty expired our backyard furniture cushions starting shredding! Of course Wayfair won't do a thing to reconcile this! And you can't contact the "manufacturer"because they are the manufacturer. Pretty maddening
Was promised assembly on arrival. It arrived by FedEx. Dropped on my door step. Only 2/3 of my couch. Assembly will be supposedly done in 4 days by Handy. I had to wrestle the 2 large heavy boxes into my house. The base and seat cushions have not arrived yet. I called customer service. Oh, we're so sorry about the misunderstanding. No. You lied. I will never buy from them again. Posted this on Facebook as well.
I don't know how they stay in business. Had 3 broken toilets in a row. They feed you nothing but lies and don't care about the consumer at all. Shattered toilets that looks like was smashed by a sledgehammer. Most awful experience. I'm supposed to get rid of 140 lbs of broken China in boxes as if it was my fault. Shame on this company for existing!
I ordered a ( gray) folding accordion door - received it but it was torn / old. Complained + was issued a replacement - that one came in broken! I'm sitting at 3 weeks and had to go back / forth w/ customer service and waiting in the interim... just order from Amazon that way u don't waste your time!
Hazardous and defective products sold and sent by Wayfair. After reporting and asking for a refund they still charge $100 as we had to open the box. Basically I've thrown $100 to the corporation to take back their $#*!ty products to protect my own family. Day light Robbery! Wish there was a way these corporations could be accountable for their actions. Stealing money from the general public in the name of e-commerce and convenience. Spoke to their supervisor EVA, she stated that "the product is not defective or hazardous it just doesn't suit my needs".

Ordered something On Black Friday and delivery was On hold status for more than 1 month. Throughout the 1 month i check in with 2-3 customer service who couldnt answer me or let me know any status. Ask for 1 discount code that i was not able to add at checkout. After that, they lead me to executive resolution team who tells me that i should buy from a brick n mortar shop instead without any reason but only based on my history of purchase. Have been purchasing with them for several years now.
So angry with my cancelled orders with them. I have also gone ahead to cancel any pending on hold delivery order with them which i waited more than 1 month and no status update. In my urgent situation for house renovation i cannot choose to wait like this. I had read their fb reviews comments by others and realise i am not alone. Amazon does it better even though the shipping is pricey..
Beware Canadians, the online pricing that seems too good to be true just may be! They show CAD amounts but charge your card in USD. Very deceiving. Customer service was not helpful, they made me feel like I did something wrong and did not acknowledge that there even was an error. My concern is this will continue to happen and be misleading to those trying to make a purchasing decision.
It is obvious why this company has poor reviews regarding employment. They literally asked for all my personal information and sent an assessment less than 24 hours ago which I completed except for one part. Early this morning I receive an email saying they are moving on to other candidates.
I have provided emails, notice the time and date stamps...

I could write a book about me terrible experience with Wayfair. I am just going to says don't do business with them and safe everyone time and money. They will not return shipping money even when it was their fault. Worst customer support I have ever had.
I purchased 2 not cheap wood planters that were advertised in their own words as weather resistant and "The cedar wood components are pre-stained with an environmentally safe water-based stain to ensure lasting service". Both items came defective and Wayfair team was quick to send replacement parts that arrived a few weeks later but after only 2 months of the boxes being under a covered porch they are both covered in fungus and mold and falling apart. One of them was never even filled with plants and has not been exposed to water, only the dew of the FL nights. Warranty says only 30 days so they are not offering any type of compensations and I cannot even leave them as decor because of the disgusting mold and fungus growing everywhere not to mention that they are peeling... I have never seen "wood" that peels. $300 wasted on falsely advertised products, will never buy anything from them.
Wayfair deserves a negative 0 I only put 1 star to post my review …Buyers beware, I ordered vanities which on two occasions both came damaged and then was missing vanity top then I ordered again and vanity was delivered again without top. So this is the fourth time they have messed up my order. I will never do business with Wayfair again. They are the worst I normally shop Amazon and it was a really big mistaken shopping Wayfair. They get you by showing all these nice products but cannot deliver order was delayed then I'm made aware that it's back ordered then arrives damaged and missing parts. This is ridiculous and mind you during all of this they don't even expedite your order your still waiting 2-3 weeks. Wayfair is the worst I definitely won't be shopping on their site again ever again.

Twice I tried to order a sleeper sofa…waited for 8 weeks to find out that the company Wayfair consigned with was out of business. Not once during my calls asking when I could expect delivery did they say the sofa was no longer available. Poor service. Will never order from them again!
To begin, I told WAYFAIR in January 2020, that there website has glitches under account information.
None of what I purchased, shows up under my account.
I cannot find the towels I JUST purchased but never received. When I called, I got: "all representatives are busy and your wait will be 20 minutes." I Iistened to that 4 x's. When I finally got a person, she said she cannot see any orders I placed either.
GREAT!
Now I have to call my VISA and dispute the charges.
The item that was available is now, OUT OF STOCK and I was never notified.
This store sucks... it just that simple.

Wayfair market themselves as a high-quality brand but in reality they peddle dressed-up, sweatshop garbage. One product claimed to be solid wood with some engineered wood, it was entirely chipboard with a single piece of real wood. You would be much better either going to a secondhand store for real wood or IKEA for much better quality chipboard products.
As for delivery just look at the screenshots. That was not just one order. We ended up having to cancel a dining table ordered in May as it kept being delayed and won't arrive by Christmas now.
My wife and I just learned that Wayfair is simply an in-between web-host, with no real power to adjust item prices sold on their website from independent merchants! (Unlike ALL of their competitors, who can). The items we purchased last week haven't even shipped out yet, but the entire order has significantly gone down in price since then. So we called Wayfair CS today to see if they could adjust the prices accordingly. They said they were UNABLE to adjust their merchants prices! So we asked if we could contact the merchant directly, and they said "no"... they refused to help us out... what? Even Amazon could do better than this! Wayfair = Thumbs DOWN
I recently became a customer of Wayfair even after hearing many negative remarks from others. I have ordered about 20 or so items ranging from $7.99 to $599 including corn hole boards, hot tub covers, shelving, area rugs, pillows etc. This seller has some of the poorest quality stuff I have encountered. The claims of their products performance is inaccurate and overrated. They refused to allow me to return items unless I paid shipping fees that in most cases were 50-70% of the purchase price of the items even if defective. I am so disappointed in The customer service, their policies, and the quality of the products. I can't stress enough to those that read this Buyer Beware! It may not happen on your first item but it will happen you will be disappointed and left holding an inferior product.
