To begin, I told WAYFAIR in January 2020, that there website has glitches under account information.
None of what I purchased, shows up under my account.
I cannot find the towels I JUST purchased but never received. When I called, I got: "all representatives are busy and your wait will be 20 minutes." I Iistened to that 4 x's. When I finally got a person, she said she cannot see any orders I placed either.
GREAT!
Now I have to call my VISA and dispute the charges.
The item that was available is now, OUT OF STOCK and I was never notified.
This store sucks... it just that simple.
They need to go bankrupt already.
I am DONE with WAYFAIR and their fly by night website.

Terrible products

Wayfair market themselves as a high-quality brand but in reality they peddle dressed-up, sweatshop garbage. One product claimed to be solid wood with some engineered wood, it was entirely chipboard with a single piece of real wood. You would be much better either going to a secondhand store for real wood or IKEA for much better quality chipboard products.

As for delivery just look at the screenshots. That was not just one order. We ended up having to cancel a dining table ordered in May as it kept being delayed and won't arrive by Christmas now.

My wife and I just learned that Wayfair is simply an in-between web-host, with no real power to adjust item prices sold on their website from independent merchants! (Unlike ALL of their competitors, who can). The items we purchased last week haven't even shipped out yet, but the entire order has significantly gone down in price since then. So we called Wayfair CS today to see if they could adjust the prices accordingly. They said they were UNABLE to adjust their merchants prices! So we asked if we could contact the merchant directly, and they said "no"... they refused to help us out... what? Even Amazon could do better than this! Wayfair = Thumbs DOWN

Poor Quality Products and no Support

I recently became a customer of Wayfair even after hearing many negative remarks from others. I have ordered about 20 or so items ranging from $7.99 to $599 including corn hole boards, hot tub covers, shelving, area rugs, pillows etc. This seller has some of the poorest quality stuff I have encountered. The claims of their products performance is inaccurate and overrated. They refused to allow me to return items unless I paid shipping fees that in most cases were 50-70% of the purchase price of the items even if defective. I am so disappointed in The customer service, their policies, and the quality of the products. I can't stress enough to those that read this Buyer Beware! It may not happen on your first item but it will happen you will be disappointed and left holding an inferior product.

The site tells you they send your package with "care", just received my tv stand and it was literally broken in half. It was only wrapped in card board... ONLY CARD BOARD. Who does that with such fragile things that people work their $#*! off to pay for? I am not happy, this ruined my whole entire day. Quit your job if you don't know how to wrap fragile items with plenty of protection.

Ripoff company

I ordered furniture estimated time to deliver about 10 days. Several emails stating order on time and the last day email stated 2 more months. I called manager no help, who would wait 2 more months waste my time. Manager would t even give me her name. I cancelled order and they said it will take about a week for a refund. So now I have to wait even longer to buy furniture because this company has no idea what there doing. If I could give a 0 rating I would. Don't buy anything from here you never know if your going to get it

Safety concern for kids
December 14, 2021

Please help me with order # *******451. We bought Glass and mirrored console table which is not safe for our kids. Spoke with Andrea from customer relations who said wayfair can't do nothing about safety. He added that safety is not as important as 30 return policy. Someone from Wayfair executive team must step up to help me with this concern.

WAYFAIR POLICY SUCKS. Waste of money
November 15, 2022

Almost every time I order from this company, there is an issue. By the time we were ready for interior, the 30 days was up on a pricey fireplace. Wayfair has a short/ difficult return policy. The remote doesn't work. Wayfair is unwilling to accommodate in any way.
I am disgusted with Wayfair. I would not order from Wayfair again. There's plenty of companies with the same products that will facilitate returns or help with this minor issue. This is corporate at its worst.

Beware when placing an order with Wayfair!
Rarely will you receive what was pictured or described. They sell below par quality items at the highest prices.
Customer service is horrible, they call the shots and you are at there mercy.
They do not stand by their products or customers.
Horrible company!

Zero stars

This company is the worst online home retailer there is. When it was a new company their customer service was great and I practically furnished my house with their goods but now it is despicable. They have the highest rate of sending damaged goods off any retailer I have shipped with and then they don't want to give you your money back. At this point I'm pretty sure this is a company strategy to preserve profits because they have such a problem delivering items without damage. I think it's only a matter of time before a class action lawsuit exposes their scams. Do not shop here.

I bought a bedroom set off of Wayfair and within a year a support leg broke off the bed. After calling multiple times to get a replacement part (which I was willing to pay for) only to get hung up on, I finally spoke with someone who said we can't help, here's the manufacturer number...I called that and they said we're wholesale, no direct customer business, Wayfair has to help you. I call Wayfair yet again and FINALLY the last person I spoke to said well sorry you're out of luck, go to a hardware store and fix it yourself... absolutely ridiculous that no one would sell me a simple replacement leg for a 1 year old bed. I'll never shop with them again! Horrible customer service.

Very poor service
November 7, 2022

I recently Bought a sofa from them. It came defective. When I spoke to Wayfair they said the customer should deal with the supplier directly and resolve the issue. More then 5 days they didn't resolve the issue. I wanted to return the item but they are Saying we need to pay $36 for return.

Made a mistake of buying from Wayfair. If the product is good you are saved else you should waste your time like me writing email to them and calling them.the product in the picture looks good but when it arrives u will have a surprise…

The old bait & switch
December 16, 2021

Placed an order on 12/12, they gave me a 12/22 delivery date. Then they send me an email saying the order is delayed. I called to see what the delay was, customer service explained they had the item in-stock, however the warehouse was experiencing delays in getting the product out the door. Totally reasonable considering it's Christmas time. Two days later, produce still hasn't shipped, called back to customer service and was told their pushing to get it shipped and I should have tracking soon. Today received and email my order was cancelled, gave no reason. Called CS for the third time, was told product is not in-stock. This is bait and switch, you take someone's money for product you advertise is in stock with an estimated delivery date, when they know in face they do not have the product. I've been a loyal customer over the years and will no longer recommend them, nor will I purchase again from Wayfair.

The extreme changes in pricing are both alarming and concerning. I tracked a couch over the course of 9 months and regularly saw the "original" price go from $2,299 to $790 to $1,370. Note these were NOT sale price changes, but price fluctuations to the supposed "original" price. Meaning that the couch would be sold at $1,800 and marked on "sale" with 20% off when they claim the original price is $2,200. Other times it would just be sold at $1,300 without any sale. Or $750, no sale. And then they would suddenly switch back to $1,300 and claim it's 50% off at $750. It is the most deceptive sales practice of any online retailer I have ever seen. It seems completely illegal and unethical and I am not sure how they get away with it. No matter how great of a "sale" you think you're getting, know the exact same item sells for dramatically cheaper on other days without any sale at all.

Ordered a brown patio set, it came in black. When I contacted them and requested a return and refund, they wanted me to drop off at the shipping co. And pay for the freight. I said "hell no, It's too big to fit in my car, it's your mistake, you arrange for pick up and pay for it". They then insisted I call their supplier who shipped it. I said "hell no, I bought from you, not them. Your supplier, you sort it out. After 3 days of e mails their supplier called and left a voice mail. I called back, waited on hold for 11 mins, finally talked to someone who was useless. He said "a specialist" will call me back. That was 5 days ago. They now don't reply to my e mails, I still have the furniture and no refund. I've bought multiple items from them in the past but never again!

We have order side dresser and first time delivery come in time and went we open we found broken board. Immediately reported with picture. So they asked to refund or replacement. See quality we refund. We order sold dresser this time and site shows 1 day delivery. After 3 days we called customer care to ask why it's on hold they told it will take 2 business days to check and get back. They repeated for 3 times and now more than a week. Still they are saying we have technical glitch. They never agreed they don't have product and simply killing time. After one more week we cancelled the order. If it's urgent do use wayfair, because they are not fair. It's waste of time 3 weeks for us.

Wayfair is falsely advertising availability, breaking contracts, and refuses to cancel the order. They are a dishonest company that misleads customers and fails to honor the deals they make. In our case, we ordered a table and chairs on 28 February to be delivered in early March. This was pushed back to late April, but that date was pushed back to mid June. Who knows - perhaps they will push it to September, or next year, or never. The chairs came on time (in March), and they won't take them back until everything is delivered (in June, maybe). So you cannot cancel or return until everything has been delivered. This is cheating the customer, and we will never, ever purchase from Wayfair again.

I wish there is an option to give -ve rating

I am not sure if wayfair business model will allow them to stay in business for long time. I ordered a washer and dryer because the estimated delivery date was one week sooner than other big hardware stores. After couple days of delay, I reached out to wayfair to check the status of my order. After more than three weeks, I was told that the order was lost in transit and they will not be able to deliver. What a joke. They don't care about their customers and they don't understand the consequence of their actions. Now, I have to wait for another 3-5 days to get my money back. Please do yourself a favor and avoid headache.

I bought a $250 Christmas decoration. The original and two replacements were received in damaged condition. See three pics. In each case, I gave them immediate feedback and sought resolution. After the third unit was received broken, they informed me my resolution window had closed and that I should deal with the manufacturer. I have no way to reach the manufacturer. Plus, it was not a warranty issue. They kept my money and told me "too bad". This is shameful. You should not do business with this company.

Hit or miss

Some of the items sold are very cheap in quality. The clothes bag I received today has a stain on it. However, a piece of furniture we bought 4 years ago was really sturdy. The quality seems to be going down hill.
