The worst experience ever! Received a Prada Coat that reeked - actually smelled like a dead animal. Even the best dry cleaner refused to touch the coat. Sent it back to Vestiaire and they "determined" the coat was fine! It was truly unwearable yet Vestiaire claimed it was as described and not eligible for refund! Do not recommend this site ever again! The absolute worst!
Buyer cancelled the purchase as the Vestiaire team damaged the item during quality control and is now blaming me for sending a damaged item rather than refund me for the damage

I have been selling online for 13 years and Vesitaire is one of the worst sites I have ever dealt with. Horrific customer service and even worse seller protections.
I sold an Alexander Wang Denim skirt on 3/12/25, shipped within the hour to the seller in California. USPS tracked and insured shipping, purchased by seller from vesitaire. Per tracking, item was delivered to buyers mailbox on 3/14/25. Buyer reported it "lost" on 3/17/25, therefore prompting Vesitaire to "open an invesitgation". I was never made aware until I inquired on 3/19 regarding my payment.
It is now 3/21/25 and I have still not gotten paid despite the fact that USPS tracking shows the item delivered to the mailbox at the address the buyer provided.
Vesitaire is now asking the buyer to write a letter reaffirming their fraudulent claims. I asked why I was being penalized as the seller and all I was offered was a fake apology.
Vesitaires customer service is atrocious and their policies are even worse.
I will be pulling every single one of my items off the site and deleting my account.

Sellers are not completely honest with the conditions of their products they post. Overall, I cannot pass good deals on pre loved condition bags. It is hard to find items in excellent conditions. I love pre-loved bags and they deserve a new home who can take care of them. I can always give them a good cleaning spa leather treatment. Authentication and quality control process gives me the peace of mind I am making the right decision for a good deal.
