WARNING! Terrible customer service, sent me shoes that don't fit and refuse to provide a refund or credit so I can return these $100 boots that I can't even wear even after acting like they would let me send back. They are a trash company who clearly doesn't care about their customer, do not shop here!
I've made multiple purchases from UV over the years and, honestly, they are extremely hit or miss. Most items that are their own brand are made of very thin, cheap fabric. Their return policy is awful. You've gotta get your return in FAST, as they only give you 30 days, even around the holidays. I'm probably going to pull back from shopping with them. Very expensive for not always good payoff.
Unique vintage used to be one of my favorite clothing companies to shop with. It's rare to find a company that has this specific type of style available and SO many options. Unfortunate their prices just keep going up while their quality continues to go down. It's clearly fast fashion at boutique prices. Every single thing I've ordered recently has been absolute garbage. A pair of shoes that were 85$ with the hot glue pieces still hanging off and a size too small (despite the tag clearly stating the proper size) a pair of pants that were 60$ made from fabric so cheap and thin - I can't even wear them. I can't believe they're still functioning as a company. It's insulting to market and sell this garbage to hardworking customers.
I ordered a dress. It was cheaply made very thin material. Could see underwear through. The quality reminds me of a Halloween costume, I will never wear this. Would not let me return. Was a waste of $. They took my review off their website or didn't even allow it on. Don't trust their reviews on their website! It's only the reviews they approve of. I Will never shop from them again.
This store has cute attire, but online buyers be warned- they force you to respend your money instantly for returns at their store. If you don't and ask for your money back, you'll never see it. I'm a month in on waiting and all I keep getting told is "sorry, it's processing". Horrible customer service. You've been warned.
I ordered a plaid coat that arrived with buttons having fallen off and poor stitching. Both items were made in China.
The material itself is low quality and will not last the winter. Looking at other reviews it appears it is hard to return items. Lesson learned--if I want vintage I will make it myself.
I used to love Unique Vintage and the quality of their clothes. They used to offer all sizes but now only seem to be focused on plus size. Also their quality of fabric, construction has gone downhill a lot. I never can get my size anymore. Everything is always a size 12 or larger. When I do find my size it doesn't even fit correctly.
My daughter's dress was made to her exact measurements and is amazing looking. The great communication with Stacees during the process was so comforting that we were going to receive exactly what we wanted. The dress arrived before expected, it fits perfect, and looks amazing on our daughter. We've been recommending Stacees to our friends and family. We will be repeat customers.
I have been shopping at Unique Vintage since 2016, as my style evolved, their silhouettes (although very niche) have evolved with me too. They leaned into the Western and 70's trends which was a game changer for me! Since they are a slow fashion brand, I know I can rely on the thought and heart they put into their styles. My sister who wears a 4X in UV, has their Delores dress in like 4 colors/prints and every time she wears it, she feels so confident, and I take it that this is the feeling they want to share with their customers. I have never had any issues with customer service, to be quite honest, so I cannot comment! My advice would be to order a size down if there is stretch because the stretch is stretching!
Terrible customer service! Will NEVER purchase from them again. I placed an order on October 7 for an outfit that I wanted to wear on a trip that I'm taking for Halloween. Thought for sure that I had ordered in plenty of time so that it would arrive in plenty of time for my trip that I'm leaving on the 25th for. Despite the fact that I ordered on October 7, the order still has not been fulfilled (13 days later) much less shipped. When I contacted customer service they apologized and said their warehouse was backed up and hopefully it would ship soon. My trip is now less than a week away and the order still has not been fulfilled much less shipped, so I asked if I could simply cancel my order for a refund and was told no. I have to wait for the order to arrive and then go through the entire return process and pay out of pocket to return it. Never again!
I emailed the company about the dress that I had ordered and paid for overnight shipping for. It had been a week and had failed to receive a shipping number. When I emailed them asking about it I got no response for days and instead was in email saying that my order was canceled and a refund would be given back to my account. It was very disheartening because I had heard good reviews and I found a really pretty dress for homecoming, but if I tried ordering again, then it would not have come in time
We ordered a homecoming dress from this company and it was absolutely beautiful! From the moment the order was placed to the moment it arrived, their customer service team kept me updated on the progress of the order. Great quality and was very pleased!
I cannot believe I hadn't discovered this place until now. Read through tons of reviews on different websites- seemed like 50/50 good to horrible experiences. I decided to go ahead and order a swimsuit to start. It was a final sale item, so I knew I couldn't return it, but I'd only be out $20 if I didn't like it. I love it! Fabric is soft and comfortable. I placed my order and received constant updates on the status and then received the product exactly 7 days later. I've placed another order and plan to continue to shop here. Love it!
I was nervous to make an order at unique vintage after reading on line reviews. But I am so happy with my purchases! The quality is really good for the price, the sizing is fairly true. I did have some exchanges I wanted to make and their customer service was friendly and fast. I will definitely buy more from this site!
I read a lot of negative reviews mentioning the time it takes to receive merch and/or returns. All those people need to calm down and have some patience and gratitude towards everyone who has been working hard since the pandemic began. Everything is hard to get now, if you can get it at all. I didn't think the time it took was exceptionally long considering the times we're living in.
Customer service has been EXCELLENT! Sylvie not only responded immediately to an email my daughter sent with a question she had, but she also handled a problem that was completely my fault - after hours, and within minutes of me sending the email - when she really didn't have to. It's rare to see such great service - super friendly, too. This was our first time ordering from this company, and we're international customers - but it won't be our last!
They still haven't shipped my order and it's been almost 2 weeks since I ordered. Order *******. I contacted customer service three times to see when my order will be shipped as I needed a dress for a wedding in a week. I thought for sure 2-3 weeks would be enough time since their standard shipped says it will be delivered in 7-14 business days. 14 business days is almost 3 weeks! We're almost at that point and still nothing has shipped! I kept getting a cookie cutter response that a separate email will be sent when my order has shipped. Asked if I could upgrade to faster shipping, pay the difference and have them pick my order asap, still a cookie cutter response that nothing can be changed or modified once an order is placed. Either they have draconian policies or a really crappy order processing system. I'll definitely think twice before ordering from them again.
In addition to my comment on their very off sizing in shoes, they still owe me a refund for an item which they never sent and was cancelled. Not only that but their rigid policies is a clear sign to stay away from ordering from this website. I'm sure there are many more unhappy customers who haven't bothered to write a review.
Now I have to go find someone with midget sized feet who will buy my shoes. Given that I'm an international customers and with the additional restocking fee and their bad customer service, I don't want the hassle of having to chase it up in the refund process with them.
After reading all the reviews on yelp and this site as well I'm glad I did! I was ready to input my credit card into a $300 purchase, Ito too bad working in retail myself I'm livid with the different customer service I read about at unique vintage online and and store to add fuel to fire they're return policy is sh#t! It's to bad I really wanted to try these pretty clothes darn!
If I go in person, I always leave with numerous dresses, so sometimes I shop online to control myself. I would have is that they require signatures on even small purchases upon delivery which can be a real pain if no one's home. Other than that though, no problems at all.
Waiting on hold x2 for over an hour, 2 email to their customer service with no reply weeks later. Zero customer service. Won't order from this company ever again!

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
